I visited around 3 p.m. and had to wait in line for about 5 minutes before I could make a purchase. The eat-in space inside the store was full, so I couldn't find a seat. The ice cream was surprisingly rich and creamy, almost like whipped cream. That was my personal impression.

I couldn't go to the main store in Sapporo, but I found it here, so I entered to try the Snow Royal made for Emperor Showa. And it was reasonably priced. About 15 years ago, I was impressed by the taste when I ate it at the main store, and recently I found out that you can enjoy it at various other branches as well. It was still rich and delicious. The soft serve was also rich and tasty. I was happy that there was a seating area where I could rest after walking around. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I had mixed soft serve ice cream. It was delicious. It was nice to be able to enjoy it slowly inside the shop on a hot day. It seems that the Snow Royal at Yukijirushi Parlor is a must-try. I missed out on it this time. I will definitely try it next time!

I went to the Snow Brand Parlor in Otaru at the request of a friend who wanted to go there! The melon cream soda there is a unique color that is typical of Hokkaido! The melon color is like Yubari melon, which is rare! The soft serve ice cream on top is delicious. Drinking the melon soda and eating the soft serve together is the best way to enjoy it. The melon flavor is really good! The soft serve has a very milky taste and is very delicious! I highly recommend it, especially during this season!

During my stroll in Otaru, I stopped by Snow Brand Parlor for a break. I had their Snow Royal Single for 427 yen, which is a nostalgic ice cream. Even though it's an old-fashioned treat, it tasted really delicious. Eating it made me realize that ice cream is made from milk. It was so tasty, thank you for the meal!

Located on Sakaimachi Street, one of the hotspots for tourism in Otaru City, is the popular Yuki-Parlor. Inside the shop, you can find a variety of sweets to help you relax from your sightseeing in Otaru. On this particular day, with the temperature exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, I purchased a vanilla soft-serve ice cream. I was able to enjoy a soft-serve ice cream with a solid sweetness. (I thought it was a very common flavor, not having a strong distinctive taste.)

Located a 10-minute walk from Minami-Otaru Station, the sign at the parlor caught my attention with the phrase "Ice cream made for the Emperor and Empress." The soft serve cone I tried was a typical pre-made flavor, but the ice cream itself had a rich and milky taste. The Snow Royal (single size) cost 390 yen (tax included).

<Highest Grade> Honeymoon trip to Hokkaido. Morning of the 4th day. After finishing seafood donburi at Sankaku Market and looking for souvenirs, we stumbled upon this shop. It seemed like a shop my partner had been wanting to visit, so we decided to stop by. Located on a street lined with souvenir shops just off the main street along the canal. The shop had just opened in the morning, and we were the first customers. The store offered Snow Brand's unique souvenirs and had an eat-in space. Among the various parfaits and soft-serve ice creams, my partner ordered the product he had wanted to try for a long time at the register. [Snow Royal] 790 yen ☆3.1 Ice cream served in a glass cup. There were no toppings, just plain ice cream. My first impression was, "Isn't this expensive?" It is said to be an ice cream made for the Showa Emperor and Empress in 1968. I thought it must be really delicious. I took a bite. Yes, it is indeed delicious. Extremely delicate and smooth vanilla ice cream. The way it melts in your mouth is also wonderful. It has a simple and nostalgic taste. It is undeniably delicious, but if you leave a 100 yen cup ice cream at room temperature for a while, wouldn't it taste like this? (laughs) Is it because the cost of ingredients is high, or is it because it's a tourist spot price? My partner also thought it was expensive, but seemed satisfied with the taste. This is also a memory.

The melon juice was not delicious. The soft serve ice cream was good, so I should have ordered a melon soda instead. I would rate it as a melon float.

I had some ice cream. It's called Snow Royal 3.5, supposedly made for the emperor. It's quite expensive, but I decided to try it as a special treat. I ate it in the store, and it has a rich flavor because it's made only with milk, no eggs. Compared to other rich ice creams, it has a unique heaviness to it. I probably won't eat it often due to the price, but I think it's worth trying at least once. I recommend it to anyone craving ice cream.

While strolling in Otaru, my friend saw a sign that said "Otaru Store Original" and insisted on going in. She ended up buying a large, round cheesecake, while I opted for a small pack of three Camembert cheesecakes for a taste test. We planned to eat them on the second day in our hotel room, but ended up enjoying them at home with some drinks. The taste was pretty standard, but still delicious. The small size makes it easy to eat and could be a good choice for souvenirs.

Otaru sightseeing, stopped by on a whim! I was watching it on "MaTsuko no Shiranai Sekai". I didn't specifically plan to visit this place, but it was part of the travel momentum.
Order placed on 5/5/2016:
- Snow Royal (around 750 yen)
- Yuki-jirushi Baum (souvenir)
Good points:
- So delicious! You can fully enjoy the taste of milk. Surprisingly, it has a clean aftertaste with no impurities. It's made without eggs, so you can savor the pure taste of milk.
- The shop itself is old (laughs), like an eat-in area at a supermarket. They have a good selection of souvenirs as well!
Additional note on Yuki-jirushi Baum:
It wasn't that tasty... The milk flavor is good, but it lacks moistness. If they want to sell it with the shop's name prominently displayed, they need to come up with a bit more creativity, or they'll be overshadowed by other brands.

I had been curious about Snow Brand Parlor as it is often featured in Hokkaido travel magazines. The brand is well-known nationwide so I felt safe entering. However, when I went in, it felt a bit quiet as it was located in a corner of a souvenir shop. I was surprised by the slightly high prices on the menu, but decided to order the Snow Royal Special Ice Cream. It was a classic ice cream and very rich. Despite being rich, it had a refreshing aftertaste and was delicious. However, the prices were still a bit high - 700 yen for the Snow Royal Special Ice Cream. It is said to be a special ice cream made for the Emperor and Empress, so I understand the high price, but it may be a bit expensive for the average person. I would be happier if the prices were a bit more affordable. The ice cream was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Today, I started my half-day Otaru sightseeing from Nishi-Otaru Station. I decided to explore the candy shops, glass shops, and souvenir shops on Sakaimachi Street before they got too crowded, starting from the famous Merhen Intersection. I came across a sign for Yuki Jirushi (Snow Brand) which is rarely seen in Osaka nowadays, so I decided to try their soft serve ice cream for today. I ordered a regular soft serve for 350 yen from a cute but unfriendly girl, and enjoyed it on a bench nearby. It was very milky and just the way I like it. Next stop, LeTao!
