So, I bought some and tried them the next day! Puddings purchased: - Samurai Pudding (¥590) - Rich Pumpkin Pudding (¥590) - Milk Rich (¥460) I tried the pumpkin pudding first. As soon as it touched my tongue, the rich sweetness of the pumpkin spread throughout my mouth. It was really sweet! The texture was soft and smooth, and it seemed like they were really showcasing the limited-time pumpkin pudding. The small size of the jar maybe to ensure you don't get tired of the sweetness and can finish it? The price is quite high though. I then tried a bite of the Milk Rich. It's relatively inexpensive for this shop. The smooth texture is delightful, and the milky flavor is distinctive. It's quite sweet, almost contradicting the use of heavy cream. This is a recommended product for those with a sweet tooth! Lastly, I tried the most popular Samurai pudding. The yolk is not too sweet, but the caramel sauce is extremely bitter, so bitter! It's too bitter, and it doesn't match well with the mild taste of the yolk, which is overpowered by the bitterness of the sauce. If one of them had a stronger sweetness to complement the other, the experience might have been different. The bitterness of the sauce was just too much. The price is also quite high, almost feeling like it's not worth it. It feels more like a mass-produced factory product rather than something special. If I were to visit again, it would be for the Tiramisu or Catarana, not the pudding. I think I've had enough pudding for now. Thank you for the meal.

At Ecute in Shinagawa Station, there is a temporary shop selling Samurai Pudding for 570 yen. The pudding is quite soft. The taste is mainly milk with no egg flavor. There is hardly any vanilla flavor. The caramel is very bitter and does not go well with the pudding. It feels like you are consuming unnecessary calories from milk even though it is not sweet.

However, it is delicious, easy to eat, and I finished it quickly. I also bought various other puddings, so I will review those on another occasion.

In the end, the Samurai Pudding was my favorite. Does that mean I lean towards the puddings that make men go "Wow, this is delicious"?

I'm currently hooked on Oni Repeat♡ The raw chocolate pudding is incredibly rich in chocolate. It's so thick that it feels more like mousse than pudding. I went to Pudding Honpo Susukino store! I have been here a few times. It is located near Susukino Police Box. The store has long opening hours, from around noon until late at night. It's a bit of a face of Susukino, haha. They specialize in puddings. When you enter the store, there are over 10 types of puddings in the showcase. I've tried the popular Samurai pudding before, so this time I chose the "Torori" pudding for 440 yen including tax. Now, let's taste it. Wow! It's so creamy! The deliciousness of the pudding spreads with each bite. It's smooth and you can taste its richness. This pudding is both delicious and affordable compared to other places in this area. Even if you're full, you can surprisingly eat a lot of pudding. Thank you Pudding Honpo Susukino store for the meal!

This is my (roughly) how many times using it. The products are: - Chestnut pudding: Rich chestnut flavor. The surface is slightly firm. The inside is creamy! Since there is no caramel, it feels more like eating a Mont Blanc cake than pudding, but it's delicious. - Hime pudding: The sweet and sour strawberry sauce and gentle milk-flavored pudding have a perfect deliciousness. Not too sweet, so it can be eaten easily. Personally, I keep giving in to temptation every time I pass by the store, but my favorite is still the Susukino store-exclusive Susukino pudding. It uses Nikka whiskey, so it has a strong alcohol taste. If you want to eat a delicious pudding with a strong alcohol flavor, be sure to try this one. Highly recommended!

While walking in Susukino, I happened to come across a shop that caught my eye because of its name "Samurai". I couldn't resist and ended up buying their popular item, the "Samurai pudding", along with the "Rich Pumpkin Pudding" as part of a Halloween set for 1020 yen. The Samurai pudding was indeed light as described, suitable even for those who don't like sweet treats! The caramel flavor was quite strong towards the end, which made my husband struggle a bit (^^;) The Rich Pumpkin Pudding was incredibly pumpkin-flavored and sweet! I ordered the "Samurai Pudding" which was very rich and creamy with a hint of bitterness from the caramel. It was a bit expensive, but overall a delicious pudding. I would recommend it to those who enjoy creamy and slightly bitter desserts.

In the evening, I wandered around Susukino. It was quite boring at this time. I had a couple of drinks at two places, but then I had trouble finding another place to go. I passed by a place that I had never been to before and decided to try it out. I ended up buying a Samurai premium pudding and a Susukino pudding. The prices were surprisingly high. The Samurai premium pudding was strong and not too sweet, with visible specks of vanilla and a slightly bitter caramel taste. It was delicious, but I didn't feel like it was worth the price. The Susukino pudding had whipped cream on top and was softer and milkier in taste compared to the Samurai pudding. I could taste the difference in flavors, but I still don't understand the price difference between the two. I thought they only sold pudding, but they actually have a variety of other items as well. Milk Rich! This is delicious. I had only ever tried the regular samurai pudding before, so I was surprised when I tried the Milk Rich pudding. The regular pudding is also tasty, but the Milk Rich pudding was a delicious pudding that I had never tried before. It has a soft pudding base with milk cream on top, giving it a very luxurious feel. I was planning to buy the seasonal cherry blossom pudding but I forgot. I will definitely go back.

The Samurai Fromage was my first time trying it, but if you like cheesecake, you will absolutely love it (*ˊᗜˋ*)/♡ The caramel part is like a cookie, quite substantial! It's a delicious, crunchy cookie. The top part is like a certain double fromage, with a fluffy, cheese-like texture (´౿`) The pudding part is smooth and has a gentle cheese flavor, with a very nice mouthfeel. It's quite substantial, but still easy to eat! I think I've tried all the varieties now, but in the end, I still think the classic Samurai Pudding might be my favorite ( *˙ ˙* ) haha. But I personally like the portion size and sweetness! After eating one, I felt like having another one... I skipped dinner today, so I was given a Premium Pudding from the fridge. This one is smooth and smaller in size, probably more suitable for women and children. It was also delicious! When I looked at the paper bag, I found some sort of Samurai Pudding guidelines written on it. At the end, it said something like, "Put it in the freezer 30 minutes before eating, and it tastes best on the expiration date." Why didn't you tell me that earlier? Next time, I will follow these guidelines when eating it.
