I found out about this place from a local information magazine. It's a shop that mainly sells miscellaneous goods, but they also sometimes sell food and drinks. It was my first visit alone on a weekday. I had tried to go the previous week but couldn't find it, so I gave up. For some reason, only the address didn't show up. I forgot to ask if it was a newly built place. I left a message saying "I'll come next week," but I got lost again, so I stopped to look at the map, and it happened to be right in front of the shop. They had put out a more visible sign than usual, making it easier to find. It's a shop combined with a residence in a residential area, with parking space in front of the shop. I was there for the food and drinks, as I had bought coffee from Uzumaki in Tomakomai recently. The owner blends it according to her preference, with less acidity. She is a petite and delicate, cute woman. Sometimes they also sell muffins from Lake Shikotsu, but they didn't have any that day. They did have brown rice tea though. Without asking too many details, I quickly made a purchase. When I opened it to drink, I realized it was beans and I didn't have a grinder. It's probably best to have it ground at the shop where you bought it, but since it's not a coffee-focused shop, I decided to go to Uzumaki Coffee, the manufacturer. I was afraid they might refuse, but their website recommended buying a hand grinder or electric grinder before purchasing beans. When I explained a little, the owner's wife asked, "Do you want us to grind it for you?" It was a good decision to go there. The aroma is nice, with more acidity than I expected and less bitterness. It's not very fruity but has a fruity hint. "It's not too acidic, not too bitter, and has a fruity touch." Thank you for the meal.
