I visited this restaurant after reading a blog that introduced food and drink establishments in the Kushiro area. When I arrived around 1 o'clock, there was no one else there. I thought it was a popular place, but maybe it was just a coincidence? The interior of the restaurant had a somewhat dim atmosphere, like a coffee shop. Smoking was allowed, as evidenced by the ashtrays on the tables. There were old comics like "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" available, making it a good place to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. There were also sports newspapers available. I couldn't find the menu at first, but the owner brought it over and told me about the daily special menu. I decided to order the daily lunch special for 600 yen, called "Menjo," which included ramen, rice, and side dishes. While waiting for my meal, I watched TV to pass the time. The lunch special that day was a homemade hamburger set. It came with rice, miso soup, warm tofu, tuna and carrot salad, and a separate plate with the hamburger. The meal looked good and was quite filling. The hamburger itself was about 200 grams, with a thin but wide patty covered in demi-glace sauce. The seasoning of the hamburger was mild, allowing the flavor of the demi-glace sauce to stand out. The salad and side dishes were a nice addition to the meal, and for 600 yen, I was satisfied with the portion size and taste. To my surprise, the meal also came with a drink, chocolate, and a character caramel. This place is great for those who want to relax and enjoy a leisurely meal, with a variety of menu options to choose from. I'm curious about the "Menjo" and "Dorami-chan" menu items for next time!
