トドワラ
▼Location▼
Located on the left side, 200m from the intersection of Hongo-dori and the water source street, heading towards National Route 12.
▼About the Shop▼
This popular ramen shop, Maruishi, which was once located in Kuwanon, has now closed. However, this shop, opened on December 1, 2011 along the water source street, is a branch of Maruishi. They serve various types of ramen such as tantanmen and shio ramen. The shop used to be a cafe, so it still retains that atmosphere.
▼Menu▼
They offer shio, shoyu, and miso ramen, as well as nostalgic ramen, tantanmen, and spicy miso ramen.
▼What I Ate▼
▽Miso Chashu Ramen 1000 yen▽ (April 2022)
This visually appealing ramen comes with plenty of chashu and a generous amount of white negi. The rich and robust tonkotsu-based soup is combined with a flavorful miso sauce and a hint of spiciness, creating a delicious blend. The noodles are medium curly noodles from Kobayashi Seimen, cooked al dente and perfectly complement the miso soup. The chashu, with its balanced tenderness and umami, adds to the overall enjoyment of the dish.
▼Impressions▼ (April 2022)
The shop owner, who trained at the popular ramen shop Maruishi in Kuwanon, opened this shop as a branch in Shiroishi in December 2011. In addition to the shio, shoyu, and miso ramen, they offer nostalgic ramen and tantanmen, making it a popular ramen spot. The shop's original cafe-like atmosphere remains intact. As someone who used to live in Sapporo, this shop was a favorite of mine. It had been a while since my last visit, and I was looking forward to returning. This time, I tried the Miso Chashu Ramen mentioned above, and the reliable taste of miso did not disappoint. The unique flavor was still as delicious as ever. It was a pleasant visit, especially since it was during a quieter time, allowing me to have a leisurely chat with the owner. I look forward to trying the tantanmen or shio ramen next time.
