The other day, when I visited a sukiyaki restaurant nearby, I passed by this shop. Later I found out that the shop and the owner are the same. There is a menu board outside with the opening hours and regular holidays clearly written. It was a visit for two on a weekday. We ordered: - Marinated tuna for 680 yen - Sake kasu cream cheese for 500 yen - Fried tofu for 450 yen - Chicken Karaage for 650 yen - Orange juice for 330 yen - Otoshi (appetizer) for 375 yen? This place is located in the entertainment district of Chitose, next to an acupuncture clinic. They moved in after KuRa family. I visited KuRa family once, but they no longer have raised seating and only have a counter, making it a cozy place. The background music was J-pop and oldies like Ishino Mako's "Haru Lalala" and Shuji's "Unknown Song". We ordered a few items from the wall menu to share. Despite the early opening at 5 p.m., there were no rice dishes. It could be good for a second round. Everything was small but neatly and beautifully presented, and the karaage was juicy. The female owner, dressed in a kimono or a traditional Japanese apron, was the only staff and had a friendly yet appropriate distance, making it easy to talk to. It seemed like there were many regular customers. I learned that they will celebrate their one-year anniversary next month. Thank you for the meal.
