It was a bit different, but I liked the stylish atmosphere... The layout inside the shop remains the same, with polite waitresses and waiters present. From 3 pm, you can enjoy individual dishes without a seating charge. Happy hour is from 3 pm to 5 pm, with cheap drinks available. There are two drink plans: the "Lucky Plan" for 30 minutes of all-you-can-drink for 528 yen, and the "Happy Plan for Tomorrow" for 30 minutes of all-you-can-drink for 638 yen, which includes frozen fruit sours for an additional charge. This time, I went for the quail soy sauce pickles and opted for the latter plan, engaging in a one-hour battle with a "Chilled Lemon Sour" (= ´∀´)ﾉ凵゛ I wonder how many refills I had...w The "Kushikatsu Select" included tender beef (Sagari), fatty pork (Belly), and moist chicken (Breast) with a sweet and salty sauce that pairs well with alcohol. The "One-Bite Gyoza" was larger than the Hakata style, filled generously with meat and full of flavor. The "Sashimi Trio" included tuna, salmon, and mackerel, a great selection but nothing particularly stood out. The kushikatsu was delicious, and day drinking is irresistible. I wish they had a counter seat for solo customers, as sitting alone at a table feels awkward. This is where I learned that "Tecchan" is the manager.

As a closing, I went to Tetchan near McDonald's. I have been to different branches before, but this was my first time here! When I entered the restaurant, I was surprised to see it quite empty and was able to choose my favorite seat. I used a coupon from a reservation site to get a sashimi platter with 3 kinds for 500 yen. I opted for a 1-hour all-you-can-drink course, starting with a lemon sour and some unique oden as an appetizer for a toast! Then I ordered a platter of meat sashimi and enjoyed eating and drinking little by little. The only downside was that the restroom was far away (´･ω･`) The best part was that the all-you-can-drink was available in 30-minute increments. It was a great way to end the night! Today, I had some free time before my next appointment, so I went out to eat with the staff at a friend's restaurant. The food was delicious, the service was incredibly fast, and the prices were surprisingly cheap! The dumplings were flavorful and perfect with drinks, and the fried skewers with pickled ginger were a nice touch. I was pleasantly surprised by the bill at the end.

"Kushiage and Yakitori Taishu Kushi Yokochote-chan Susukino Branch" is the name of the restaurant. I arrived right at the opening time of 3 PM as I wanted to have a daytime drink. The place quickly filled up with customers, probably because the all-you-can-drink prices are cheap and the location near Susukino crossroads is convenient. They offer two all-you-can-drink plans: the "Lucky Plan" for 30 minutes at 528 yen, and the "Happy Plan" for 30 minutes at 638 yen, which includes draft beer, frozen sours, and authentic shochu. I opted for the Happy Plan, and with a Hot Pepper coupon, it was 550 yen for 30 minutes. You can choose between 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes, with extension being a "subject to consultation" with the staff depending on the situation. Last order is strictly at 30 minutes, so I went for that. For food, you are required to order at least one item priced at 550 yen or above. I tried to order the "Sashimi 3-piece assortment" with the Hot Pepper coupon, but was informed that I needed to order another item priced at 550 yen or above. Luckily, I planned to order two items anyway (laughs). I started with an Asahi Super Dry beer. For food, I ordered the "Assorted 5-piece Kushiage" (550 yen) and the "3-piece Sashimi assortment" (550 yen with Hot Pepper coupon). The appetizer (330 yen) was "Yodare Chicken." The Kushiage assortment included pork, chicken, quail, lotus root, and sweet potato, all nicely fried and a good value for the price. The sashimi assortment included bluefin tuna, cured mackerel, and octopus legs, which were quite thickly sliced and satisfying, especially at the discounted price. For my second drink, I had the "Gin Gin Lemon Sour," which was delicious with a lot of frozen lemon in it. If you order this as a refill during the all-you-can-drink, they will only serve the drink without the frozen lemon. My third drink was hot sake. The staff came to ask for the last order about 5 minutes later, but I was already satisfied with three drinks in 30 minutes. Finally, I had the "Chinchororin" and received a coupon for the next visit. It's a great deal for enjoying drinks!"

Today, I went with my wife and sister, planning to start with a 60-minute all-you-can-drink plan and add additional items if needed. We started with beer and our usual favorite, simmered cartilage skewers. For our order, we got the "Assorted 8 skewers tempura," "Sashimi platter x2," "Simmered tripe," "Potato fries," and "Avocado with wasabi." The sashimi platter included tuna, octopus, marinated mackerel, salmon, and scallops, always a great deal at 500 yen. For a light drink, I usually go for a 30-minute all-you-can-drink plan (only available at the Maruyama store) plus the sashimi platter, which is always satisfying. To finish off, my wife ordered the "Grilled rice balls with tea dip," which was a bit too strong in flavor for my liking. The tempura included pork, chicken, smelt fish, shrimp, quail, eggplant, and shiitake mushrooms. The secret weapon "Doctor Fry" is a revolutionary fryer that controls the moisture in the ingredients and oil with electrode panels, resulting in various benefits like reducing oil absorption by up to 50% and extending the oil's lifespan by 30%. It seems that I skipped the first visit and went straight to the review of the second visit. Here is the review of the first visit on "2021.10.21" about a month after the opening. It was around 4 pm on a holiday, with three groups of five customers already there and many more coming in later. Upon entering the restaurant, we were greeted with the usual cheerful welcome. We sat at a table in the middle, just the two of us. We opted for the 60-minute all-you-can-drink option, starting with two beers. The pricing was per 30 minutes at 638 yen, and the last order was 30 minutes before the time was up. They came to take the last order promptly, without automatic extensions. We started with the usual "chicken meatball and quail egg" skewers, which were flavored just right and I wanted more. We also ordered a sashimi platter for 500 yen (special price at opening), which included five types of sashimi: lean tuna, octopus, salmon, marinated mackerel, and scallop. The freshness was excellent, and the marinated mackerel tasted homemade and delicious. We also tried the potato salad with egg and pickled radish, which was surprisingly good. The miso-marinated cheese was also a tasty dish that made me want to drink sake. We finished our meal in about an hour and left the restaurant. I would like to come back again to try their seafood bowl or something more substantial. Thank you for the meal.

The familiar daytime drinking spot, Chinchirolin's Tetchan, is always a great deal. You can always get a coupon, and they never expire. I did something on Instagram and got a free sashimi platter, which they upgraded from a 3-piece to a 5-piece set. The drink all-you-can package, which includes beer, is super cheap. They also serve salted fish roe and buttered potatoes, which they torch right in front of you. The service is so memorable, I forgot about it. (laughs) The staff at all their branches are incredibly friendly and energetic. It's like getting sunshine for free. In the end, we used all the Chinchirolin coupons, and we were shocked at how much we ate and drank for just around 700 yen for three people... It was almost embarrassing how good of a deal it was. Last order is one hour before closing time ( ´∀｀ )b Strong green tea highball ( ﾟДﾟ)ﾉ Wow! The color is intense! Even though it's all-you-can-drink, it's amazing. The appetizer costs 300 yen and comes with grilled quail eggs. Kushikatsu is 110 yen each, with options like Doctor Fry for a crispy and light option that won't weigh down your stomach. The "Paripi Tsukune" with fresh and crispy green pepper sauce is delicious (*´艸`). There's also the "Potato Butter" that is seared right in front of you, with a performance that brings out the flavors of the sweet potato. The sweet potato is fluffy and delicious. They also offer a "3-piece sashimi platter" as a service for those who post on Instagram, which actually consists of 5 items. I love Tetchan so much. I went there twice, so I'll summarize. They had a happy hour, so the all-you-can-drink was cheap! I forgot to take photos of the menu! If you add them on LINE or post on Instagram, there are various services. The all-you-can-drink was really cheap. I got drunk and didn't take any photos... In Susukino Tetchan, they have oden and yakitori. And it's cheap. The buttered potatoes are delicious♪ The salted fish roe is amazing. They grill it in front of you with a burner, melting the butter. The kushikatsu skewers are a good size for the price. Very satisfying. The oden is flavorful (*≧∀≦) The sashimi is good quality. The service from the staff is great!! I want to come back again.
