Added a photo. Demi-chan is still delicious here! It's been a while since I last came, but it was really good. The lunch was crowded, and I arrived relatively late for lunch, so when I went, it was fully booked with reservations, and my office suddenly seemed far away. I came here after a long time! I want to go for drinks at night again.

I usually lack confidence in returning to work during lunchtime due to reservations and long lines, so I tend to skip this place. However, today around 12:10 on a weekday, there was no line and empty seats, so I quickly slid in. There were three customers at the counter seats, and I was guided to a comfortable table for two. I was torn between the Kushiro specialty Escalope, but I chose the safe and reliable hamburger menu. In less than 20 minutes from entering, the soup and two types of mini appetizers arrived. The soup was Minestrone, not as surprising as the previous soup but still delicious. The mini appetizer of fried smelt was crispy, and the shiitake mushroom with tuna fry was to my liking, a good combination. When I finished eating, the hamburger and rice arrived, looking delicious. Let's dig in! First, the salad was fresh and crunchy, very nice! Then I took a bite with a knife and fork, it was tender and tasty, and the rice went well with it. You don't need a knife and fork, you can cut it with chopsticks. It didn't have as much of a sharp wasabi kick or the vividness of shiso leaves as I thought, but it was definitely delicious. The rice was a bit softer than I prefer, but still acceptable. The rose-red pickled radish was a perfect palate cleanser, very nice. I finished it in no time, and at the right moment, they served the dessert of yogurt and vanilla ice cream, which was refreshing and elegant. It was my first time at KAZU in a while, but it was as delicious as ever. Thank you for the meal! Next time, maybe I'll try the Escalope?

On September 23, 2023, at 12:15, I made a reservation because I really wanted to eat Demio rice. I ordered the omelet with plenty of cheese inside, and my partner chose the mini hamburger with shrimp fry on the side. When asked about the rice portion, we requested a smaller amount. The minestrone soup that came out first was delicious! Next, we had appetizers which were thinly sliced radish topped with beef tendon and mashed sweet potato. Then came the main dish!! The omelet made with three eggs was filled with plenty of cheese. The salad on the plate was voluminous even with less rice! I also tried a bit of my partner's mini hamburger and shrimp fry, and they were delicious ♡ Finally, we were served yuzu ice cream. It was so delicious and we left the lunch completely satisfied ♡ I would love to visit again!

I arrived at the restaurant around 11:30 because the place I originally wanted to go was closed. It was not crowded due to the bad weather and being a weekday. It seemed like a husband and wife run the place. I ordered a Japanese-style hamburger set which came with soup, appetizer, rice, and ice cream for less than 1500 yen, so I think it's quite affordable. Everything was delicious, especially the soup which had a creamy minestrone-like flavor with a hint of tomato. The hamburger was tender and flavorful, and the vegetables, especially the sweet potatoes, were surprisingly tasty. The rice was also delicious, and the ice cream flavors of tomato and apple were unique but easy to eat.

Demiglace sauce hamburger soup (minestrone) Minestrone was delicious!! Appetizer (lotus root sandwiched and fried or grilled, something with corn) The corn was very delicious! Demiglace sauce hamburger (150g) with bacon, rice Hamburger was tender and the sauce was delicious! I wanted to eat more (but overall it was just the right amount) Ice cream with yogurt sauce The sauce was good! The aftertaste was refreshing and delicious! I would like to try another dish with demiglace sauce next time. Thank you for the meal!

The lunch options for office workers are limited. I visited "New Western Cuisine KAZU" on a weekday after a few years. I arrived around 12:10 pm. There were 4 groups of customers, totaling 7 people, and a couple of 4 people who came after us. The order for today was Demi-glace Sauce Hamburg for 1,450 yen. The juicy and tender hamburger was good, but the rich and deep Demi-glace sauce was even better, worth more than the price! The soup and dessert were also delicious, making it a great value overall. I enjoyed the meal very much. Thank you!

We made a reservation at this restaurant for a special anniversary dinner. By chance, it was the restaurant's 12th anniversary dinner, featuring dishes like a Uni appetizer, "Thai" pie with fish, and pork so tender you don't need a knife. The price was reasonable at 5,500 yen for a course meal with a 90-minute drink option. The quality of the food was impressive, and each dish brought happiness. I want to come back for lunch next time!

Having lunch with a friend. Didn't make a reservation at the restaurant in advance, and didn't confirm my friend's preferences beforehand. After meeting up, asked what they wanted to eat. No particular preferences. So, how about hamburg steak? That's what we decided on. When we got to the restaurant, there was a sign saying we had to wait until 11:45. We waited patiently, probably because they were short-staffed and letting people in gradually. The menu had hamburg steak in a few different flavors, as well as escalope and optional fried items. After some thought, we settled on the classic demi-glace sauce. When it comes to Western food, you can't go wrong with demi-glace. Well, I should try something different next time, but I've had it before and it was delicious. My friend, who had been stationed in Kushiro, was intrigued by the escalope, but I went with the hamburg steak in a Japanese-style sauce with plenty of colorful vegetables. The lunch also came with dessert, which I forgot to take a picture of, but it was served with sherbet. A reliable choice.

I really wanted to eat omurice, so I visited and had a simple omurice with hashed beef on top of white rice. Recommended for those who prefer authentic Western food over the traditional chicken rice. The egg was fluffy, and the added hashed beef cut smoothly and melted in the mouth. The cream stewed daikon that came before the omurice was also delicious, and I was completely satisfied to enjoy such authentic Western food from noon. The staff were also nice, and I had a great time. Thank you for the meal ♡

This is a restaurant that I have always been curious about but never had the chance to visit. I decided to try my luck and went there before opening without a reservation. As a solo diner, I was quickly seated at the counter. I ordered the demi-glace hamburger with shrimp fry topping. The soup was minestrone, and the accompanying appetizer was edamame cake and miso eggplant. The soup was full of beans and vegetables, and the appetizer, although small, was delicious, especially the edamame cake. The main dish was beautifully presented with a variety of vegetables. The demi hamburger was also delicious, and the shrimp fry topping was a good choice. It had a nice flavor without needing any additional condiments. Additionally, chopsticks were provided along with a knife and fork, making it easy to eat without any pressure. For dessert, I had vanilla ice cream and grapefruit sorbet. In today's world where ramen costs nearly 1000 yen, the price of 1750 yen for this meal seems reasonable. However, it may be considered expensive for a regular lunch, more suitable for a slightly indulgent meal with friends. There were a few minor points that caught my attention, such as the purple sweet potato, yellow cauliflower, and beet-colored daikon being served with demi-glace, as well as a noticeable delay between the arrival of the main dish and the rice. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed as the sole server was handling everything on their own, although they did a good job of attending to customers. There were three other groups of customers besides me, but it felt like things were not moving smoothly. Perhaps the empty tables were reserved? Overall, it was a satisfying meal.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a long time and finally visited for the first time. It seems that you can't enter without a reservation, as I saw many people coming to the entrance and turning back. Even though I didn't order a course, I was surprised to see appetizers and dessert served like a course. The main omelette rice was fluffy and creamy, and everything from the salad was delicious, so it was very satisfying in terms of cost performance! There are other menu items that I am interested in, so I will definitely come back again.

It was around 12:30, but after waiting for about 10 minutes, I was able to be seated. The demi-glace sauce hamburger with bacon, soup, mini appetizer, rice & bread, and ice cream set for 1,400 yen was a very good deal for lunch.

Building transfer, huh? No one waiting! It's usually crowded and I couldn't get in, so today is a chance! First, I'll have the demi-glace sauce hamburger that has been passed down for 11 years, with bacon. It comes with soup, salad, rice or bread, and ice cream for 1400 yen. First, the soup. It's a cream of tomato soup with finely chopped onions. It's really delicious! There are small pieces of tofu and minced meat in the soup. Oh, the soup is so tasty. As for the hamburger, it's surrounded by shredded cabbage, bean sprouts, purple cabbage, yellow carrots, shadow queen, potatoes, and pickled red radish. The hamburger is juicy and flavorful. And the final surprise, instead of vanilla ice cream, there's sweetened summer orange at the bottom. It was a very delicious and enjoyable lunch. For this content, 1400 yen feels like a good deal. Thank you for the meal.

A well-known Western-style restaurant in Sapporo. Located in the underground dining area of Odori Street, this hidden gem of a restaurant is warm and cozy. Their demi-glace sauce, passed down through generations, has a rich flavor. The atmosphere is inviting and nostalgic, like being back at home. Lunchtime can get busy, so it's recommended to make a reservation before going!

The hamburger with demi-glace sauce that has been simmered for 11 years, served with bacon, was delicious. It was priced at 1,400 yen and came with appetizers and dessert. The demi-glace sauce, rich in red wine, was incredibly tasty. The hand-kneaded hamburger had a rich meaty flavor. The appetizers and dessert were also delicious. I will definitely come back again.

I had the August dinner course. It was 5500 yen with a 90-minute free drink (starting dish). Corn blancmange with foie gras and crispy edamame (appetizer), Sweet shrimp and scallop tartare with avocado cream cheese (fish dish), Potato croquette with pike conger eel and snow crab in plum cream sauce (meat dish), Basil-flavored roti of herb pork from Makari with whole tomato gratin stuffed with ratatouille, Chef's dessert of the day, bread, coffee or tea. Every dish was carefully made and very delicious. I definitely want to go try the famous demi-glace next time!

I visited "Shin Yo-shoku KAZU" for lunch. I had been wanting to go there since the year before last, so I made a reservation for the opening time, as it is a popular place that gets crowded during lunch. I ended up being about 10 minutes late for my reservation due to being a bit too relaxed, but I called the restaurant to let them know, and thankfully I just made it in time. The restaurant manager kindly accommodated me even though they were busy. On this day, only those with reservations were seated before 1:00 pm. I ordered the "Mini Hamburger with Hash de Beef Omelette Rice (¥1600)" with a topping of "Shrimp Fry (¥200)". After about 10 minutes, a mini appetizer and soup were served. The female staff explained the appetizer and soup, but I couldn't remember all the details, so I'll just write what I remember. One of them was a cheese bread with lotus root. The soup was made with finely chopped onions, carrots, and plenty of red beans. The soup was incredibly delicious, with the vegetable flavors blending into a rich and mellow broth. The red beans, slightly crumbling, added a nice texture, and even someone like me who isn't a fan of red beans enjoyed it! I would love to have this soup even on a cold winter morning. After a 20-minute wait, the main dish arrived. The colorful vegetables were beautifully arranged with the omelette rice and hash de beef. The mini hamburger also had a strong presence despite its size. The purple vegetable was a potato, and the rose-shaped vegetable in the middle was daikon pickles. The potato had a soft and sweet texture, and the pickles had a strong sour taste, while the other vegetables were fresh and full of flavor. The shrimp fry was crispy and tender, with no fishy smell, and the omelette rice was cooked just right, with a soft and fluffy texture when cut open. It had a buttery and cheesy flavor, with a subtle sweetness, complemented by the hash de beef. The hash de beef had a light yet slightly bitter taste, with a rich and mature flavor. The sauce used for the hash de beef, which has been continuously replenished for 9 years, had an authentic taste. The hamburger had a crispy surface and a firm texture inside, with a slightly mild flavor, but when combined with the sauce, the deliciousness doubled. Overall, everything was well-balanced and flawlessly made. I don't know if it's a cause for celebration for the restaurant owner, but personally, I think it could be chosen as a top restaurant. When I asked the staff if they had a shop card, they kindly gave me one! I was sent off politely when I left, and I could leave the restaurant feeling good. I'm interested in the Japanese-style dishes and green peppers, so when I visit again, I might try a dish centered around the hamburger! Thank you for the meal.

We ordered the Hashed Beef Omelette Rice for 1350 yen and the Combo Plate with 100g Hamburg Steak and Mixed Fry for 1900 yen at a Western-style restaurant on the street near Odori Park. It was lunchtime so the meals came with mini appetizers, rice, soup, and ice cream. The shrimp fry was delicious! It was a popular restaurant!

This popular Western-style restaurant, celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, is known for its demi-glace sauce that has been passed down since its opening. The restaurant is located in the basement of a building. When visited at 12:50 on a weekday, there were only 2 groups of 4 customers, clearly showing the impact of the coronavirus. The casual atmosphere inside offers both counter and table seating. The menu is extensive, featuring options like hashed beef or hamburger. For lunch, the order was a bit pricey but included both options: "Mini hamburger with hashed beef omelette rice (1600 yen) and a side of fried oysters (200 yen each)." The meal began with a pumpkin soup made with bonito broth, followed by deep-fried tofu with meat sauce in a crepe. About 10 minutes later, the omelette rice, fried oysters, and salad arrived on a single plate. The demi-glace sauce, a point of pride for the restaurant, was slightly bitter but delicious. Personally, I prefer a richer flavor. The half-cooked omelette with a buttery aroma was also enjoyable. The hamburger was juicy and quite to my liking. While the seasoning was not too strong, it paired well with the demi-glace sauce, enhancing the flavor. Next time, I will focus on the hamburger. The fried oysters were crispy and tasty with tartar sauce, typical of a Western-style restaurant, but I would have preferred a bit more firmness. The dessert was ice cream with strawberry and chocolate sauce. Overall, the taste, portion size, presentation, and cost performance were all satisfactory, which explains its popularity. This place would definitely appeal to women. Next time, I may try the hamburger or the cutlet. However, it may be a bit tight for a quick lunch for office workers, so it might be better to visit at night for drinks.

It's been a while since I last visited Youshoku KAZU. I love this place because you can enjoy authentic Western cuisine at a reasonable price. This time, I tried a course with all-you-can-drink for the first time. The menu included Foie Gras Brulee with Berry Sauce, Assorted Appetizers (Mackerel in Tomato Sauce, Squid and Turnip Marinade, Pumpkin Croquette, Ham and Daikon Rice Cake, Tomato Cake), Seafood Pot Pie with Chowder Soup, Grilled Iberico Pork with Sherry Vinegar Sauce, Bread, Mousse and Ice Cream, and Black Tea. Foie gras is so delicious, I wonder why. The chowder soup and Iberico pork were also amazingly tasty. The wine in the all-you-can-drink option didn't taste very good, it seemed like it had oxidized. The food was delicious, so I think I'll stick to non-alcoholic drinks next time.

The lunch menu includes soup, mini appetizer, bread or rice, and dessert♪ The recommended demi-glace sauce at this restaurant has a light yet deep and elegant flavor. The soup is intricate and makes this a place you want to take someone with you♪ On this day, my companion took me to buy the year-end Jumbo lottery ticket, and he said he would treat me to lunch. You can park at Marui Parking B. If you make a purchase of 2,000 yen or more at Mitsukoshi or Marui Imai (including Kitakitchen), you can park for free for 2 hours. Additionally, if you have an MI card or a Mitsukoshi Isetan shareholder privilege card, you can park for an extra hour. This extra hour is much appreciated. The restaurant opens at 11:30, so I parked around 10:30. I prefer not to pay for parking if possible. I bought a lottery ticket at the lottery booth near the Mitsukoshi entrance. Recently, you can use a credit card to buy lottery tickets. Times are changing. I roamed around the depachika and made a decision. Around 11:20, we arrived at the building where the restaurant is located near the streetcar street. The restaurant seems to be in the basement. We took the elevator, and the basement had a somewhat old-fashioned feel, including the restroom, but there was an elevator. The slight sense of unease I felt when I saw the building from the outside or descended to the basement was already dispelled. The restaurant opened a little after 11:30. We sanitized our hands and were seated. The service was in a calm and refined tone, typical of a Western-style restaurant. It's great. It's a weekday, but customers kept coming in one after another, so it's definitely a popular place. I looked at the menu. Although I had already decided on the order, my companion and I both ordered the hamburger set with demi-glace sauce (1,350 yen). But as I looked at the menu, I thought, "I might change my mind," so I looked carefully at the menu... For an additional 150 yen, you can add a fried egg topping. Yes! I want a fried egg with demi-glace sauce. For an additional 200 yen, you can add an oyster fry (1 piece)... My companion likes this! Let's order the oyster fry too. Would you like to try one as well? ⇒ Okay! After ordering, I looked around the restaurant. It has a lovely and calm atmosphere. When I saw the exterior of the building or descended to the basement, there was a slight sense of unease, but it was already gone. As I mentioned at the beginning, the menu ranges from 1,350 yen, which may seem a bit high, but it's a petit course with soup, mini appetizer, and dessert, so considering the overall composition, it's cheap! About 7 to 8 minutes after ordering: ◎ Potage soup. The temperature outside is in the single digits. This soup is so warm♪ It has sweetness, umami, and depth. It's delicious with a rich taste. The soup is of a very high standard. I'm drawn in by the soup. ◎ Mini appetizer. I couldn't catch the explanation of each dish because the staff was busy, but I managed to hear that it was a curry-flavored quiche. Yes, I see. The quiche has a hint of curry spice and is delicious. It's important to have these little extras. It's important to balance the flavors while cherishing the original ingredients and adding a touch of accent. The spice should not be too strong or too weak. It's a good balance. The potatoes are not dry, they are moist and slightly fluffy, which is nice. ◎ Demi-glace hamburger (1,350 yen) + Fried egg (150 yen) + Oyster fry (200 yen) I thought the oyster fry would come on a separate plate, but it was casually placed on the main plate. My companion was impressed. First, I tried the restaurant's famous demi-glace sauce. Hmm? Hmm... Hmm. My initial impression was that it was lighter than I imagined. I tried the hamburger. The hamburger is tender. Hmm?... Ah! This is delicious. I don't know why, but the deliciousness comes later. The harmony between the demi-glace sauce and the hamburger is very good. When I tried the demi-glace sauce again, I could clearly feel the richness, depth, and umami that I didn't notice at first. The flavor was already complete. However, I decided to add a fried egg, imagining a rich demi-glace sauce with the addition of an egg, but the flavor was already well-balanced. Nevertheless, I cracked the soft-boiled egg and tried it. Next time, you should try the fried oyster too.
