Today I visited a bar in Kushiro called "BAR Reiko" and started with a mojito to soothe my dry throat. It was delicious! This bar is owned by Kudo, the head of the Hokkaido branch of the Japan Bartenders Association, and everything from the atmosphere to the taste is top-notch. I am grateful to my friend who brought me here. I indulged in a few cocktails, including a custom-made one, and even forgot to take photos because I was having so much fun. Now, I'll finish off with a martini and return to reality from this dreamy time. Thank you for a wonderful experience and delicious food. #Kushiro #BAR #Reiko #Gourmet #Martini

This is Kushiro. It's a bar called Reiko. It seems that Reiko-san moved here from 2015. Well, the Scotch here is authentic. The back bar has a lot of different types of Scotch whiskey, just like in Sapporo. The cocktail skills are amazing. You can choose between spicy and non-spicy Moscow Mule. It's an innovative Moscow Mule. Is this really Kushiro? The prices are not particularly high, but if you drink too much, the bill can add up (5,000-8,000 yen). The initial map was a bit wrong, so I had the Tabelog staff correct it. Reiko Address: 3-1 Suihiro 8 Building 3F, Sakaemachi, Kushiro City Phone: 0154-21-8000 Business hours: 19:00-2:00 Irregular holidays (mainly Sundays)

Today I went on a solo trip to Kushiro izakaya. Started with beer at "Torizen", then had sake at "Kinmoto", and finally it was bar time. I arrived at "Reiko" at the opening time of 7:00 pm. I took a seat at the counter and started with a gin and tonic, which was quite delicious. The owner and bartender Kudo-san was absent, so a young bartender was holding down the counter. We talked about a bartender who left Kushiro to work in Tokyo. Time passed leisurely. Next, I ordered a Martini. It had been two years since my last visit. The well-stirred Martini was delicious. Lastly, I had a whisky - Elements of Islay Lg5, a Lagavulin. The strong peat flavor of Islay cask strength was delightful. They kindly accommodated my request for a strong young Islay whisky. Thank you for the information. Thank you for the meal! "Reiko" is located at Suhiro 8 Building 3F, 3-1 Sakaemachi, Kushiro City, Hokkaido.

Today's solo journey through Kushiro's izakayas led me to "Reiko" after being recommended by the bar "Waranokan". I started off at the counter with a Gimlet. The owner bartender, Mr. Kudo, was not present, and a young bartender was holding down the fort alone. Gimlets can be a tricky cocktail to make, with adjustments needed based on the lime's sweetness and the type of gin used. There were no other customers initially, but a group soon arrived and the atmosphere became lively. To keep things simple, I switched to a Francis Albert. I wonder how the bartender who left Kushiro is doing now. Thank you for the great experience!
