On a holiday afternoon in 2023, my wife and child went to a nearby bakery called "Hakodate Pan Espoir & Sapporo Donguri" to buy bread. I wanted to try a place I had never visited before, so I decided to go to "Kondo" instead. It's a take-out only shop located behind the Starbucks near Goryokaku. The prices are a bit high, but I managed to get a discount by saying a magical word when ordering the shrimp fry omelet rice for 950 yen. The taste was decent, with a demi-glace sauce and shrimp fry that resembled those made by a trainee chef at a Western restaurant. Overall, it was a satisfactory meal.

Opposite JR Goryokaku Station, there is a takeout specialty store located behind Starbucks and Donguri. I think it used to be part of Oguni Farm but has since become independent. On a day when I didn't have time to eat lunch leisurely, I bought food and ate it in the car. It mainly serves Western cuisine. Oguni beef stewed hamburger rice for 980 yen, which was served hot. Ebi demi-omurice for 850 yen, which was pre-made. They seem to promote on social media with one-coin deals, and some people come specifically for that.

I visited this place, which used to be a restaurant that also used beef in their dishes but changed its name and underwent a renovation. I tried the demi omurice and fried rice. The demi had a little bit of beef, and the chicken rice had paprika in it. The fried rice also had beef in it.

Located on a small street without the Chuo Line, no parking available. Access by car is not a problem due to low traffic. The successor to "Wagyudo," now named "Kon," with an expanded menu. Tried the beef stew (¥800) and the new menu item, fried chicken in beef broth (¥400). The beef stew had a light and not overpowering taste, yet with a deep richness and intense umami flavor. However, the main attraction, the beef, was missing, only fragments were found. Dissolved? Personally, I wish they still offered the previous menu item with 200g of meat for ¥1,350. The fried chicken in beef broth may look junky, but it has a complex flavor. Even those who are not meat enthusiasts will be impressed. Completely satisfied. Saw a black T-shirt with "yakisoba" written on it at the storefront. Later saw on Twitter that it looked delicious with thick and white noodles in the style of Namie. Regretted missing out. Reservation required? Unbelievable oversight.
