I went to the Meat Color Workshop to try the Shabu-Shabu Select Lunch which started at 6/15. When I arrived, the pastry chef was working hard to promote it in front of the building. Our eyes met, and after making eye contact, we climbed the stairs to the second floor together. The Shabu-Shabu Select Lunch costs 1,485 yen per person and includes the following choices: 1. Choose the meat (domestic beef loin, Hokkaido pork loin, or a combination of beef and pork) 2. Choose the dipping sauce (rich white sesame, homemade grated ponzu, or light soy sauce) 3. Choose shabu-shabu vegetables or a mini salad 4. Choose rice or a finishing dish (rice, udon, finishing egg soup set, or ramen). Being a bit greedy, I chose the combination of beef and pork, sesame sauce, shabu-shabu vegetables, and rice, with a mini roast beef bowl as an additional option for 275 yen. For my drink, I chose oolong tea priced at 495 yen. The meat was a bit overcooked due to filming, but I could still taste the ginger and soy sauce. The shabu-shabu vegetables (bean sprouts, Chinese cabbage, mizuna, shimeji mushrooms, carrots) were enjoyable with a touch of soy sauce. The mini roast beef bowl had a texture similar to lean meat with a soy sauce-based sauce. The super barley rice added a unique texture to the meal. Overall, the meal was reasonably priced and satisfying. If there were mini desserts available, it could be a great option for a fancy mom's lunch gathering. Thank you for your hospitality.

I heard rumors about shaved ice and decided to visit this hotpot restaurant that focuses on sweets. The pastry chef, a high school student who won the Sweets Koshien competition, creates unique shaved ice desserts (mofuko) with handmade sweets. The flavors are all special and exclusive to this place, and I want to try all four of them!
