When you go on an empty stomach, you end up ordering too much! Haha, the salad and curry options are just too tempting, making you want everything. This time, I had pork curry with half fish fry, mini cutlets, salad with potato salad and tuna topping. I'm so full. I should go for the half curry next time. The fukujinzuke (pickles) is a bit salty but being able to eat as much as you want is great. Thank you for the meal! ^ - ^

Having lunch in the bustling shopping area, I felt like having curry today because it's a bit cool. I noticed CoCo Ichibanya and decided to go in. It was crowded during lunchtime, but luckily I managed to find a seat at the counter as soon as the previous customer left. I ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry with vegetables, with normal spiciness. It was my first time having CoCo Ichibanya curry in a while. The 300g rice portion was satisfying. Mixing the curry was a delightful experience. The crispy cutlet was also delicious. The addition of potatoes, carrots, and green beans as toppings was a nice touch. I decided to add some extra spicy seasoning halfway through, which elevated the spiciness level and made it even better. The attentive service from the staff was also commendable. Overall, it was a great meal.

Beef curry is Western-style and can handle a lot of spicy spices. Even in the scorching heat of Sapporo, on days like this, I decide to eat spicy food to deliberately heat up my body even more. I was curious about the beef curry that I had been interested in recently. You can add more meat, but I deliberately ordered it in its standard state. Unlike regular curry, it has a very Western taste. It gives a quite sweet impression, so I sprinkle spicy spices on it and eat it. The taste is consistently delicious. It's okay to pair it with Fukujinzuke. I don't come to Cocoichi often, but when I eat it occasionally, it's still consistently delicious.

When craving for curry, I usually go to Colombo or CoCo Ichibanya. This time, I chose CoCo Ichibanya and ordered chicken and summer vegetable curry. I got 200g of rice, with medium spiciness and added half cheese as a topping. Even though I ordered medium spiciness, I always use a sauce that becomes sweet and creamy halfway through for flavor variation.

CoCo Ichibanya located in front of Hokkaido University, near Sapporo Station North Exit, is a very much appreciated restaurant that is open until 11:30 PM. I always intend to order just one topping for my crispy chicken + 5-spice level curry Caesar salad, but I always end up ordering two toppings (sweat). Even though the price goes up quite a bit, I just can't resist the toppings (T_T). It's the CoCo Ichibanya magic! The customer service at this CoCo Ichibanya is wonderful, even in Sapporo city. The curry roux tends to become watery if boiled too much on the stove, but they always serve it in a delicious state, which makes me think they cook it very carefully. They don't have a parking lot, so I can only go when using Sapporo Station on a business trip, which is a bit of a downside. I will definitely go again!

I ordered the Spicy Chicken Curry with summer vegetables. By default, I thought it would be quite spicy, and it was indeed spicy! However, the gradual heat was delicious. I also got some Fukujinzuke, but it seemed saltier than before. I can't eat a lot of it at once, but when I come to CoCo Ichi, I must enjoy this Fukujinzuke. Thank you for the meal!

Targeted menu entry. Summer vegetable curry with chicken (¥980) with spice level 2 (+¥44), crispy chicken cutlet (+¥326), and salad set (+¥140) ordered. Upon taking a closer look at the menu, the variety of options and toppings made it difficult to choose, showcasing the addictive nature of the place with something new to enjoy daily. First up was the salad, with the option to choose your own dressing, adding to the appeal of the place. The spicy aroma and the scent of frying oil in the air inside the restaurant only increased the appetite. The awaited curry arrived and the presentation was impressive. As mentioned in other reviews, the spice level in the curry was not overpowering but added a refreshing touch. The chicken, though not extremely crispy, was still hot and delicious, complementing the curry well. Despite the small space, customers kept coming in even past 9 PM on a weekday, indicating its enduring popularity. Yes, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

10 minutes walk from Sapporo Station North Exit, near the main gate of Hokkaido University, there is a CoCo Ichibanya. They are open until late at night which is very convenient! Recently, I heard that CoCo Ichibanya has increased their spice level up to level 15. I decided to challenge myself and visited the restaurant. I ordered Chicken Cutlet Curry, Eggplant, 300g, spice level 8, with Squid Rings topping and a salad. I usually go for spice level 7, but this time I went for level 8. The curry at CoCo Ichibanya is always well-made, not too watery like some other places. The staff did a great job and the curry was delicious. The spicy curry with fried eggplant is a perfect combination. At level 8, I could still enjoy the flavor and spice together. I was very satisfied! The Squid Rings at CoCo Ichibanya are really tasty and go well with the salad. CoCo Ichibanya is the best! I will definitely go back again.

I went to a meeting and stopped by CoCo Ichibanya Hokkaido University Mae store for lunch. The restaurant is located in front of the main gate of Hokkaido University and does not have a parking lot. You order after you sit down, and pay at the register. I ordered the "Pork Cutlet Curry (Regular rice, spice level 1)" for 865 yen. It's been a while since I've had CoCo Ichibanya. It was really good! I wanted to eat a lot since I had plans to go around the area in the afternoon, but I decided to go with a normal amount of rice to leave some room in my stomach. It was delicious as always.

I revisited for a final dish after a drinking party nearby, so I'll just upload the photos. "Pork Cutlet Curry (Cheese MIX) for 1,065 yen" The mild and flavorful curry sauce pairs perfectly with toppings like cutlets. The price may not be cheap, but the satisfying taste and generous portion make it worth it.

I ended up going to "CoCo Ichibanya" again, even though I don't really like it that much. I tried ordering the Sausage Curry for the first time. I imagined the texture and taste of the sausage as I took a bite... Crunch! Hmm... It was completely different than I expected. Later, I bought the "CoCo Ichibanya supervised Cheese Curry Hot Pot Soup" at the supermarket on my way home from work.

I visited for a late lunch. Perhaps due to the time, or maybe the impact of the new coronavirus, there were only two other customers. I was alone, but I used a booth seat. Because it was empty, I was able to order smoothly. This time, I ordered the fried chicken curry. It was served in about 3 minutes without any wait. Since it's a chain restaurant, the taste is consistently good. It had been a while since I last had it, and even though I didn't add any extra spiciness, I thought it was quite spicy. But it wasn't too much to handle. It's good for when you crave curry. I would be happy if they had a few more affordable menu options. Thank you for the meal.

Located near Sapporo Station, in front of Hokkaido University, is Coco Ichi. I attended a wine tasting event and ended up a little tipsy, looking for a place to eat. It's hard to find a place open past 10 pm around Sapporo Station to grab a meal. I stumbled upon Coco Ichi and decided to give it a try. Surprisingly, there were quite a few customers inside. They serve alcohol, but also have food options, which is convenient for people in the area. Feeling like having curry that day, I ordered the Pork Cutlet Curry level 2 spiciness for 832 yen. The food arrived in less than 5 minutes, which was impressive. I chose level 2 spiciness, so it wasn't too hot. The special spice mix added a nice flavor to the dish. The pork cutlet was crispy on the outside and the curry was tasty. It lacked a bit of excitement, but it filled me up. Next time, I'll try their soup curry! Overall, it was a satisfying meal. Thank you and aiming for 100 curry restaurants in 2020. This review is the 9th one this year.

I revisited for dinner, so I will only upload photos. "Adult Spice Curry THE Asia + Fried Chicken (1,213 yen)" This Asian curry has a stronger spice flavor compared to regular curry and a refreshing aftertaste. It is delicious, but I felt the price was a bit high.

This was my first time at a Coco Ichibanya in Hokkaido. Although this store did not have any special local Coco Ichibanya dishes, I tried the handmade beef menchi katsu curry for the first time and it was very delicious. The staff gave me a somewhat gloomy impression, which was unexpected for a Coco Ichibanya. I wished I could have tried a local Hokkaido curry dish.

Cocoichi, a popular curry chain on Kita-dori, offers their first Chicken Leg Soup Curry for 1150 yen including tax. The rice comes in a regular portion of 200g. The spiciness level is 4 out of 10, with an additional 84 yen for extra spiciness. It took 15 minutes from ordering to serving. The ingredients include chicken leg, boiled egg, potatoes, burdock, broccoli, carrots, eggplant, and cabbage. The chicken was tough and lacked flavor, but the soup itself was delicious. The soup lacked depth but had just the right amount of saltiness. Not recommended for those looking for authentic soup curry, but a good option if the price is a concern. The added bonus of having Fukujinzuke and soup curry together was enjoyable. Thank you for the meal.
