The pork miso soup was delicious with daikon radish, burdock, onion, carrot, and konjac. There was also plenty of pork in it. The rolled omelette had a strong dashi flavor and was quite tasty. The rice balls were large, and after eating two, I was full! I was surprised by the ginger-flavored flounder rice ball, it was delicious. I also tried the keema curry rice ball, which I don't usually make myself, and it was excellent! However, the total bill came to 1500 yen, and if you add tea or fried chicken from the convenience store, it might be a bit expensive. But it was delicious, thank you for the meal!

I start by drinking the piping hot pork miso soup. When I open the lid, the delicious aroma of the pork miso soup fills the air, and the pork belly meat is so tender and tasty that you'll want to eat a mountain of it. The broth of the pork miso soup is also delicious, and as the autumn chill deepens, my body feels warm and my heart feels at ease. The special wood flavor in the rice is nice, and the high-quality seaweed from Ariake also adds a nice aroma. The staff members with their shining smiles also left a good impression. Personally, I think the rice could have been cooked a bit firmer. The tuna mayo added a stable and delicious taste to the rice balls, but I also felt like trying a simple salted rice ball. I also want to try the salmon rice ball before the season ends. On this day, while driving towards the Yamanote area for work, I spotted a banner for a road construction ahead. In front of the shining rice shop, there was a food truck, and I was tired of convenience store bento boxes, so it felt like fate to see this shining place! I quickly ordered and found out on Google that it had just opened on Facebook. It was a stroke of luck that I, a lunch refugee at 2 o'clock, was able to have lunch there. I could truly feel the quality of the new rice, which is carefully selected from a single farmer in Rankoshi-cho. I appreciate the convenient pork miso soup set that I can buy quickly and eat easily, and I plan to buy it again when it's lunchtime nearby.

During a walk, we stopped by this place on a whim. I got a pickled vegetable onigiri and my husband got a salmon onigiri. The onigiri are made on the spot, so you have to wait a bit for them to be ready. We went to the park and had a picnic. The saltiness of the onigiri was just right, and the pickled vegetable had a strong flavor that paired well with the rice. What surprised me was the rice itself. It seemed intentionally cooked firm, each grain distinct and noticeable on the tongue. I've never had onigiri like this before. I definitely want to go back and buy more!

Last night, since my kitchen was unavailable, I went to a nearby yakiniku restaurant next to Seven. As I passed by, I saw an acquaintance in the parking lot, chatting with someone in the car next to mine. Suddenly, sparks appeared on the pavement, and it turned out to be a cigarette butt. I couldn't believe it, and I felt irritated. I wanted to pick it up and throw it in the car, but I couldn't bring myself to do it.
I had planned to run various errands at the city office, but it ended up taking almost a whole day just at the city office. I dropped off two people in the morning and then went to a hotel where I had forgotten something recently. On the way, I decided to try out the onigiri shop that Yome-san had recommended. When I arrived, I realized that they closed at 3 pm, and I was just in time. They had some leftover rice, so I could choose one onigiri with my preferred filling. I chose a plum onigiri since the salmon one was too big to fit properly in the wrapping. The onigiri was made by a young lady, which was surprising. The plum filling was sweet, which I usually like as a side dish with shochu, but not so much in an onigiri.
Overall, the rice was good, and despite some size discrepancies and difficulties with the salmon filling, the onigiri was satisfying. It was a close call, but I think it was worth it.

When it gets hot, my symptoms worsen, as I have a designated rare disease by the government. There is no cure for my rare disease yet, but I temporarily improve if I receive "blood products" for 5 consecutive days. Last year, I was hospitalized 5 times for treatment related to my rare disease. I was admitted for the second time this year on April 4th, but was discharged 56 days ago. However, due to worsening health, I have made a reservation for my third hospitalization this year, and will be admitted once a bed is available. Your supportive comments are always a source of encouragement for me during my hospital stays. I am truly grateful. Moving forward, I ask for your continued support. In June 2022, I plan to focus on reviewing past reviews that have not been reviewed yet. I will limit new visits based on my health condition, so I will be more reserved. This is my second review, so it will be brief. "Tabesasetaku Naru Omusubi" is a small "onigiri specialty store" run by a rice shop. Onigiri is made to order after ordering. It opened in November 2021. It sells bento boxes for a limited time of 2 hours from 11 am to 1 pm on weekdays next to the FamilyMart at Sapporo Medical University Hospital. Since around April or May this year, they have also started selling "onigiri" from "Tabesasetaku Naru Omusubi". Here, they make and deliver onigiri to the sales corner from the store every day. I bought the standard item, "Shake 270 yen". ■ Shake weight actual measurement 177g (after deducting the bag) (previous 173g) It is a jumbo onigiri wrapped in flavorful "Ariake Nori". The filling is low-salt salmon Price 270 yen (tax included) (main store price 250 yen) The rice base of the rice shop's "onigiri" is very delicious. It's a happy onigiri that is made to order. Based on my experience, a popular onigiri from "Arikko" in Sapporo weighs about 190g. The normal size is about 115g. Even by default, this jumbo onigiri is almost the same volume as Arikko's jumbo onigiri. It feels like a good deal, this onigiri. When bought at the store, this costs 250 yen. Going to the Nishi Ward Yamate area takes time and transportation costs. It's only a 20 yen increase, but it's a convenient and delicious onigiri available for 2 hours only. Next time, which onigiri should I choose? I want to visit the shop again to see the beautiful and friendly lady. (laughs) Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had a regular check-up at Sapporo Medical University Hospital and decided to stop by Famima Cafe to have an iced coffee. On my way to the eat-in corner, I noticed an orange flag that said "Musubiya." I remembered seeing MyRepi members post about this place. I asked the salesperson and found out that they sell their products here a few times a week. I decided to buy the "Salt Musubi" (220 yen) made with Nanatsuboshi rice from Rankoshi Town. It was a pretty large onigiri, about 1.5 times the size of a convenience store onigiri. Other reviews mentioned that it was cooked on the softer side, but this salt musubi was just right for me, not too soft or too hard. It was firmly packed, so it didn't fall apart, and the mild saltiness enhanced the sweetness of the rice. They were sold out of the cheese okaka flavor that day, but I would love to try it if they have it in stock next time. Thank you, Musubiya, for the delicious meal!

"Rice Balls that Make You Want to Eat" is a small rice ball specialty shop run by a rice shop in front of the store. Rice balls are made to order. They opened in November 2021. I visited for the first time with my usual companion. The shop is located along Yamanote Street in Sapporo's Nishi Ward. Please check the exact location of the shop on Tabelog. I visited around 11 am on a holiday. The shop is run by a friendly and neat lady as a one-person operation. We ordered the "Today's Recommended - Takana Mentaiko Mayo (350 yen)" and the regular item "Shake (250 yen)" twice. It took a few minutes to make the order. ■ Today's Recommended - Takana Mentaiko Mayo Yakisoba Weight: Actual measurement 176g (after deducting the packaging) It is a jumbo rice ball wrapped in seaweed. It is easy to eat with plenty of ingredients. The ingredients are takana, mentaiko, and mayonnaise. Price: 350 yen (tax included) ■ Shake Weight: Actual measurement 173g (after deducting the packaging) It is a jumbo rice ball wrapped in seaweed. The ingredient is low-salt salmon. Price: 250 yen (tax included) The rice in the rice balls from the rice shop is of very good taste. It is also nice that the rice balls are made to order. Based on my experience, the jumbo rice balls from "Arinko" in Sapporo weigh around 190g. The normal ones are about 115g. Even the default rice ball here is almost the same volume as the jumbo rice ball from "Arinko". There is also a sense of value in these rice balls. The rice balls made by the neat and friendly lady taste even better. Next time, I wonder which rice ball I should choose. I also want to meet the neat and friendly lady again. It was delicious, thank you.

Pork miso soup set for 500 yen at Oni-katsu (o´ω`o)ノ(■) along Yamate Street, in the parking lot of the rice shop. Seasonal limited edition onigiri shop with a light blue kitchen car. Place your order at the rice shop and they will call you. The ingredients are carefully selected with 5 types priced between 200-250 yen. Get a 50 yen discount when you order the pork miso soup set. The onigiri is large and fluffy, similar to Goron's Hot Chef, and tastes good even when it cools down. The rice has a good balance of sweetness and stickiness, with a mild saltiness. The nori seaweed is from Ariake and has a great aroma and sea flavor, truly a high-quality product! The salmon seems to be silver salmon, with plenty of grilled flakes and lots of ingredients in the pork miso soup, creating a delicious combination of flavors. However, it's a bit oily. I also bought some rice to cook at home, and it turned out delicious. Thank you for the meal! (^ω^)

At a certain end of the world, I had a light breakfast and happened to come across a rice ball shop bookmarked in the West Ward Yamate 6th Street. The shop is located in a prefabricated house in front of a rice shop, not inside the rice shop. You can park 1-2 cars in front of the rice shop. A friendly lady greets you at the prefabricated house, even through a mask. On this day, I chose from 4 types of rice balls, with the option of miso soup and a side dish. I tried the "salmon (250 yen)" and was impressed by its size - almost twice the size of convenience store rice balls. The flavor of the seaweed was nice, and the rice, made from high-quality grains from Rankoshi, Hokkaido, was soft and chewy. The saltiness of the salmon was gentle and delicious. I also tried the "plum (250 yen)" rice ball, which was made with the same delicious rice and had a sweet and fruity plum inside. It made me realize how happy it is to enjoy delicious rice. Thank you for the meal.

In the West district, I finished work early, but it was still lunchtime and I was hungry. I searched for a nearby place to eat and found a newly opened store that caught my interest - a shop where a rice merchant makes sushi. It seemed promising, so I decided to give it a try. When I arrived, I saw a small kitchen cart set up by the rice merchant's storefront, indicating the simple nature of the shop. I parked my car and approached the shop, noticing that there were no customers around, even though it was still before closing time. I entered the shop and expressed my interest in their sushi, to which they kindly agreed to prepare for me. The menu included salt, salmon, plum, and tuna mayo sushi, as well as pork miso soup and tuna bowl. I ordered salmon and tuna mayo sushi this time. The sushi was made with Nanatsuboshi rice from Rankoshi, and premium seaweed from Ariake was used. The rice had a glossy appearance and looked delicious. Upon tasting it, I could feel the sweetness of the Nanatsuboshi rice, along with its stickiness, making it a tasty rice. The sushi easily crumbled in my mouth, and while the rice was slightly softer than I prefer for sushi, it was still delicious as white rice. The fillings were generous, with the salmon being moist and flavorful, and the tuna mayo being rich and tasty. Personally, I prefer rice that is a bit firmer, but overall, the sushi was enjoyable. The quality of the rice truly reflected the expertise of the rice merchant. I would definitely visit again if given the chance. Thank you for the meal.

Opened on November 1, 2021. Visited on November 4, 2021. I suddenly learned about this place being open. It seems like Yamasan visited and had good things to say. Zettji went next and also gave a good review. Since two Ojiin from the Sasen area went, it seems like it's a good idea for a third person to go as well. Both of them mentioned that even though the rice is soft, the sushi is still sweet. I wonder if they cook the rice soft to make it fluffy when they mold it? However, it's not something you eat with a utensil, but with your hands. If it falls apart just from biting into it, it can't be called onigiri! Maybe they don't even mold it? Perhaps they use an onigiri mold to make it fluffy? The rice and seaweed are delicious, and it has a nice aroma. I think it's an elegant onigiri.

On a holiday stroll in the city, I walked about 1.5 km from the Tozai Line's Hassamu-Minami Station and arrived at "MUSUBIYA," which opened on November 1, 2021. It is a kitchen car set up in front of the store operated by the Shichifukujin Group, a rice shop called "Tabe Sasetaku Naru Omeshi KAGAYAKI." They sell onigiri and other items on their menu, including salted salmon, plum, and tuna mayo onigiri, as well as pork miso soup and a fatty tuna flakes bowl. I ordered the salmon and tuna mayo onigiri for 250 yen each. The onigiri was made after I placed the order, and I received it in about 5 minutes. The rice used was "Nanatsuboshi" from Rankoshi and high-quality seaweed from Ariake, giving the rice a glossy appearance. The Nanatsuboshi rice was in good condition, with a mild saltiness that brought out the flavor of the ingredients. However, I found the rice slightly soft for making onigiri. The high-grade seaweed used seemed to melt and stick to my hands as time passed, which I felt did not quite suit the onigiri. I think a slightly thicker seaweed would be more suitable. The salmon filling was generous and had a good amount of fatty flakes, making me very satisfied. Next time, I will go buy the specially cultivated rice from Rankoshi. Thank you for the meal.
