I made a detour after lunch nearby. When I went, they were sold out and there weren't many options left, so I chose a rare-looking bread to take out. The milk coffee bun and sesame milk bun are large, so it's good to eat them in two servings or share them with two people because the portion is quite generous. The cream inside is packed and the taste is mildly sweet. The cream cheese bun tastes better when warmed up.

Hakodate sightseeing: Near the Red Brick Warehouses, I stumbled upon a bakery at the main store of the seafood market. They have a dining area, so I decided to buy something to eat on the go! The store is quite spacious with a variety of bread. They have many savory and sweet bread options. In addition, they offer cakes, pastries, jams, gifts, and even frozen cakes and bread. It was hard to decide, but I ended up buying two items! The "Salt Bread" (108 yen) is a butter roll-style bread with a hollow filled with butter. The butter flavor is subtle, making it versatile to pair with different foods. The "Pudding Bread" (151 yen) is a bread roll with rich custard cream on top and caramel syrup drizzled over it. It's sweet and delicious, more like a creamy pastry than a pudding. I am curious about the cake buffet set of 5 for 1296 yen, so I plan to try that next time! Thank you, Yanashi Bakery!

I bought this on the way back (for the Shinkansen). It's full of homemade feel, and it looks good too. It looks so delicious. The price is around 150 yen, which is perfect. I had it on the way back in the car, and it was very delicious. I should have bought one more ^^;

Near the group of red brick warehouses by the seafood market. When you enter, you see many people eating seafood bowls and sushi! Passing through there, you will find a bakery at the farthest corner. It is spacious with a wide variety of breads. There is also a counter at the back, and eating in is allowed. Furthermore, if you purchase bread, you can get a free cup of coffee from the machine in the store! Unfortunately, I couldn't drink it. I bought some bread for breakfast but ended up eating it a few days later. The salted bread had a generous amount of butter, more buttery than salty, and the taste was more luxurious than simple. The ice cream that the dad was eating was also still available!

I was in Hakodate. While wandering around the Kanemori Warehouse, I found a bakery. I didn't feel like having bread since I already had a hamburger, but then I noticed they were selling ice cream! They had a seating area nearby, so I bought a cup of vanilla ice cream for 216 yen including tax and enjoyed it there. There were various flavors available, but I chose vanilla. It was made by the Hakodate Royal Hotel. Let's dig in! It was creamy at first, then it reminded me of a Super Cup ice cream. It was quite sweet with a strong egg yolk flavor. It wasn't as exciting as I had hoped since I often eat Super Cup ice cream, but it helped refresh my palate after the Chinese chicken burger. Thanks for the meal!

A new bakery recently opened in Hakodate Seafood Market, and this was my first visit. They have a thorough infection prevention style, with alcohol disinfection, wearing gloves on the dominant hand, and using paper trays to pick up bread. The prices are relatively reasonable. It is also interesting that the lanes for sweets like cream puffs and bread are separated at the checkout counter.

Located on a one-lane city road facing a parking lot for 40 cars next to it, this place has excellent car access. However, a purchase of ¥1,000 or more is required. During the service time before closing, I quickly attacked the ultra-bargain set of 3 coppe sandwiches (¥324), yakisoba (regular price ¥180), all of which are 16cm x 5cm x 4cm in size. Luckily, there was no pickled ginger. The taste was as expected, not too strong and quite pleasant. The bread was soft and moist. The kimpira (regular price ¥280), on the other hand, had a strong flavor. The kimpira had a strong base flavor, so it might be fine without mayo. The saba kabocha (regular price ¥380) was excellent. I didn't know that saba and Cambodian cuisine had such a great compatibility. Delicious. Is it because of the good quality of Marukatsu Suisan's ingredients? There was also a bento box from Hakodate Royal Bakery, but the relationship is unclear.

I was asked by an acquaintance to buy a Christmas cake, but it wasn't delicious. I didn't bother to check reviews or information about the shop, but later I found out it was a bakery, which made sense. The price was around 3,500 yen. The texture was a bit too dense for my liking.

I visited this shop during my trip to Hakodate. The shop is located in a building within the brick warehouse district, with a souvenir shop and bakery combined. One of the most popular souvenirs from Hokkaido is "Shiroi Koibito," and the soft serve ice cream with that flavor was delicious even in the middle of winter. In the background, you can see the brick warehouses and Mount Hakodate, which offers a stunning night view worth a million dollars.
