After 4 years, I visited the restaurant and ordered the special selection sushi lunch menu from the counter seat at 12:40 on a weekday. The interior of the restaurant was warm and clean, sparkling. They brought a cold towel and hot green tea. The sushi chef was rhythmic and precise in his work, making it fun to watch. Where to start eating? I started with the octopus in the middle... delicious! The salmon roe was also delicious, and I was satisfied with the sushi lunch! The price for the amount of food was a bit surprising, but I couldn't eat more anyway (laughs). After a long time, I revisited the restaurant and had the Hokkaido nigiri (14 pieces) for 3800 yen, as well as 2 pieces of shrimp for 600 yen. I also had a seafood salad, fried Camembert cheese, and zangi. Somehow... it felt different. I'm not sure if my taste buds have changed or if the restaurant has changed, but I couldn't help but think, "Was it always like this?" Not sure what's going on...

The lunch set includes tuna, squid, salmon, yellowtail (amberjack?), mackerel, octopus, sweet shrimp, scallop, flying fish roe, and salmon roe. The miso soup was delicious. There's a set of 5 nigiri. The names are all Hokkaido-themed (laughs) - Nikko, Bifue, Orolfure, then Saroma Lake, Shikotsu Lake, Toyako Lake, and Toya Bay. There's also a 4-piece set - Japan Sea, Pacific Ocean, Okhotsk, and Funka Bay. The larger scale ones have fewer pieces. Why is that? It's a mystery! But it's fun, I like this kind of thing. It is located on a street between Hotto Motto and Shindo Bookstore on the Tokiwa-cho street in Futaba Sanjo. I hadn't heard much about the restaurant, so I didn't have high expectations, but the sushi was surprisingly delicious. The interior of the restaurant was cozy and the prices were reasonable. The quality of the sushi was above average. I will definitely be going back again.
