きんちゃん!
A bar that only those in the know would know about... I love strolling around the nightlife in Obihiro. When you walk around and pay attention to various places, you can make all sorts of discoveries. It seems like the city is always changing, with new places opening up and old ones moving. Recently, I was surprised to find out that...!
I peeked into the once thriving Tokachi Izakaya that someone I knew used to run, but the space for the food stalls was already gone. It's been fast, maybe about a year... There were about four shops inside, but except for one that moved to a nearby location, the Tokachi Izakaya itself was gone... I had previously introduced it in an article titled "Tokachi Izakaya is a unique food stall in Obihiro..." (jump to that article). It seems like it was tough after all...
Among them, the shop called "Chokuchoku" was running by someone I knew a little, and I wondered where they had gone... On another day, while wandering around the city, I spotted a sign that read "BAR BLACKNESS"! I think it's the place where Haruka, who became famous with Michelin, used to be. It must have been about 10 years ago... I think the owner of Chokuchoku used to run a place called "BAR BLACKNESS" back then... Alright, let's go in!
Inside, there was a mountain of records! "No mistake about it!" It's that BLACKNESS! There was that nostalgic person inside. Here is the menu. The prices are not that high. First, I had a Jack Daniel's on the rocks as a greeting. The interior has about 6-7 counter seats, and 2 tables for 6 people each. There aren't many malts, but that's been the style for a while.
The master here, after closing BLACKNESS, ran a disco-style drinking place called Soul Train, and then ran a shop at Tokachi Izakaya. When I saw the owner of the food stall, I felt a bit out of place. Now, seeing the appearance of this shop, I somehow feel like I understand. This person is a true bartender... For the second drink, I had an IW Harper on the rocks. I enjoyed myself while feeling the nostalgia in the shop with the good sound of the records. I look forward to coming back.
This time, I feel too much joy and bias, so there will be no scoring.
