When I visited a yakiniku restaurant in this area and said, "I'm the one who made a reservation," the reaction was like, "Huh?" So I checked again and realized that I was trying to go to "Meigetsukan" instead... Be careful not to make mistakes~ 😂 If you want to do a yakiniku crawl, this is a recommended route. It's best to make a reservation because when I called in advance, it was fully booked... Oh, it's okay! The Asahi Super Dry was 550 yen (tax included). I ordered some meat! There was a coupon on Tabelog, so I asked for it, and they said, "Since the number of customers decreased right after the coronavirus outbreak, we asked the management to remove the coupon, but they didn't respond at all..." They let me use it just this once. Thank you very much♪ The Greedy Hormone was 1080 yen (780 yen with the coupon). The price on the coupon was outdated, so they deducted 300 yen from the bill. It's a set of raw hormone, tender hormone, and top hormone. It had just the right amount of saltiness, no unpleasant smell, and was juicy and delicious♡ I wanted to drink makgeolli... in a bottle... but my husband said no, so I had the raw makgeolli for 450 yen. It's delicious. It has a milky flavor more than what I usually drink♡ When I asked for it, it wasn't as spicy as I thought it would be. I thought it would be a beef bone soup, but it had a Japanese-style aroma of bonito dashi! Overall, it was delicious, but it would be even more delicious with charcoal fire! The beef tongue offcuts were 550 yen. I thought it might be a bit sinewy because it's offcuts, but the visual appearance of the cut was different, and it was delicious♬ The Yukgaejang soup was 660 yen, plus an extra 50 yen for extra spiciness. I asked for it to be very spicy, but it wasn't that spicy. It has a Japanese-style aroma of bonito dashi, although it's generally beef bone soup! It was delicious overall, but it would be even more delicious with charcoal fire!

A friend took me to this restaurant that I had been curious about but had never been to. The place was quite spacious and there were a lot of customers. The staff were experienced and cheerful, making the atmosphere lively. There were many types of meat, all of which were delicious. They also brought out the sauce while explaining it. The tongue in particular was so tender. I was happy to be able to choose from a variety of beers as well. It was a popular yakiniku place where you can enjoy delicious food and drinks.

First, the salad was delicious and crunchy. The sagari was recommended, and it was thick and juicy, very tasty! The hormone set was all tender and delicious! It's a bit pricey, but it's nice to indulge once in a while. However, we couldn't use the coupon. Minus point!

I brought someone who had never been before and they loved it! The ox tongue was delicious, even without extra green onions. We ordered large intestine and rectum hormone, both were so tasty! It had been a while since I last had it, but it was really delicious. I'm glad I took my companion there, they were satisfied. I will definitely go back again!

I arrived at the year-end party around 8:30 PM. It was just the two of us in Asahikawa, and since it was the end of the year, I underestimated that it wouldn't be crowded. We couldn't get into three different places, but finally we were able to contact this restaurant and decided to go there. It feels very cozy and has a sense of history. Each table has a small wall-mounted TV. We started with a toast with beer and also enjoyed some Highballs. They had my favorite Maker's Mark whiskey, and the hormone dishes were well prepared and delicious without any unpleasant smell. We had Sagari, Kalbi, and beef tongue, all in just the right amount. It was enjoyable and filling at a reasonable price. I mentioned that I wanted the cute Highball glass, and the restaurant manager gave us a pair as a gift. What a great place! Maybe it was because it was the end of the year, or maybe because the other customers had left and we had the place to ourselves, but it was a delightful experience. I just remembered that the previous customers had also received a little extra something! How cute! I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I generally think of this place as a high-end yakiniku restaurant based on the meat and pricing. They offer a variety of meats ranging from inexpensive cuts to those priced at over 1,000 yen per serving, so you can enjoy a meal here at a reasonable price. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great as each table for four is separated, allowing you to enjoy your meal without worrying about your surroundings. The staff is usually polite, although sometimes there may be inexperienced part-time workers. I have been here three times now and have never had a bad experience. I always make a reservation over the phone, and it seems like the owner always answers. He is an older gentleman, but he is very polite and makes you feel at ease. As for recommendations, the best part is definitely the sauce. The sauce is crucial for enhancing the flavor of the meat, and it can even affect how quickly you eat your rice. In my opinion, the most delicious meat here is the premium beef skirt. It pairs perfectly with the sauce and makes you want to keep eating rice!

Myeongdong Teahouse. According to what I heard, the owner is from Myeongdong in Chungwa. There is no coincidence of having a place called Myeongdong in Asahikawa. Is the owner originally from Korea? Parking is limited in the city center, but this place has its own parking lot. The taste of the sauce is the key to the yakiniku? Today, what place will it rank? Beef kalbi for 980 yen, beef tongue for 1600 yen, and raw horumon for 450 yen. The lunch menu and soup dishes are average. I want to try the special curry rice. But when to order it, I don't know. Namul and kimchi were both delicious. The namul platter had 4 varieties, but it seemed a bit small. The kimchi and namul cost 400 yen each. The beef tongue from Hokkaido cost 1600 yen, and it was slightly thicker than other places. It was tender and delicious. The chicken thigh for 400 yen and raw horumon for 450 yen were both from Hokkaido. They were served with salt, and the horumon was best enjoyed with miso. The unique smell of the pork intestines was present but not overpowering. The portion size was slightly small, but the texture was good. The small cuts of meat were enjoyable. The yukkejang soup for 600 yen had a mild spice level and was made with miso and egg. The kalbi and sagari, both for 980 yen, were from Australia or the US, and Hokkaido, respectively. The organizer negotiated with the restaurant to set up a party course with all-you-can-drink for 4,500 yen. It included a variety of meats such as hormone, upper mino, small meat, pork sagari, beef loin, beef sagari, beef kalbi, sirloin steak, and lamb. The special sauces were divided into lean meat and hormone versions. The meats were well seasoned and tasted great with the special sauces, perfect for pairing with rice or beer. A very satisfying party course, grateful to the organizer.

I suddenly felt like eating yakiniku, so I visited this place! It has an old-fashioned yakiniku restaurant atmosphere. As I get older, I value quality over quantity. The prices here are reasonable, and I believe that the deliciousness of the meat and sashimi is proportional to the price. The quality of the meat and offal was satisfying! I was happy to see that they use a gas stove instead of charcoal, as I'm not a fan of charcoal grills. It had been a while since I had such delicious yakiniku! Thank you for the meal.

Sagari is tender, flavorful, and a bit on the pricey side, but definitely recommended for yakiniku. The hormone meat was not smelly and easy to eat. The friendly mother took good care of us!

I visited with a few close friends for a party course priced at 4000 yen (excluding tax). The course included beef kalbi, beef sagari, pork sagari, horumon (offal), premium horumon, tongue, lamb, grilled vegetables, salad, and rice, all with all-you-can-drink. The drink menu included choices like Premium and Super Dry beer. We were happy to have various meat options and left feeling full. They asked if we wanted rice, which was nice since we didn't need it after drinking. The fast drink service was also a plus. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The menu structure is interesting with food comparison sets, making it enjoyable for those interested in yakiniku! I actually wanted to eat yukhoejang, so I searched on Tabelog for a yakiniku restaurant in the city that serves yukhoejang. Although I had never been there before, I knew it was well-known for being delicious and having a long history, so I decided to go. I had the tender hormone set and enjoyed yukhoejang and bibimbap while nibbling on the tongue tips. The taste was perfect! The hormone was really tender and delicious! Sometimes it's the pre-cooked type with a certain texture, but this one was raw and uncooked! Yet, the texture was amazing! It's a mix type with spleen mixed in. This time, the focus wasn't on the meat, but next time, I definitely want to go all out with the meat as the main dish.

I had two pieces of beef kalbi, two pieces of beef sagari, two pieces of pork toro, two pieces of special tender hormone, two pieces of pork sagari, two pieces of top lamb, two large rice, one small rice, one yukkejang soup, one kimchi, and soft drinks for four people. Splitting the bill among four people, it came out to less than 3000 yen, to be exact 2740 yen. The quality-price ratio is quite high. The meats like kalbi and sagari are not top-notch, but they showcase the natural flavors of the meat and the sauce is delicious. The hormone is from the large intestine, and despite not being a fan of the soft texture, it has a high-quality taste that goes down smoothly with a hint of sesame oil. Surprisingly, the pork toro was delicious, with a nice balance of fat and sweetness. The quick sear made it tender and enjoyable. The atmosphere is great, and the restaurant is open late, making it a favorite spot for late-night barbecue. [2011/11 Update] Visited the barbecue restaurant after a long time. The prices for beef sagari seemed to have gone up a bit. The taste remains the same. The sauce complements the white rice well, making it a satisfying meal.

We were expecting a hearty Korean meal at a place called Myeongdong House, but it turned out to be a regular yakiniku restaurant. The pork dishes were around 500 yen, while the beef dishes were around 1000 yen. The raw hormone dish was quite delicious. They served Asahi and Suntory draft beer.

There is a noticeable yakiniku restaurant near the bustling area of Sanroku in Asahikawa with an orange sign. It is a great place to go for a meal after drinking in Sanroku. The menu is typical, but they offer a service set with a variety of meats which is a good deal. I highly recommend trying their highball cocktail (make sure to ask for lemon!). Even though highballs are similar everywhere, they have their own unique taste here. Two service sets and four highballs will cost around 4000 yen. Give it a try at least once.

Among the yakiniku restaurants in Asahikawa, this is my favorite. Each table has a TV, so it's great for families to watch important sports games. The grills use gas, but you can adjust the heat easily, which is convenient. It's better than using charcoal, although for horumon (offal), charcoal grills are preferred. The meat is reasonably priced and of high quality. The homemade sauce is delicious. They also stay open late, so it's perfect for late-night yakiniku. It seems to be popular among people in the food and beverage industry late at night.
