Our favorite ramen place at home is still unbeatable! It's a bit sad that we haven't had any reason to go to Kikusui lately. The most delicious flavor for me is the salted chicken white broth, but when I prioritize value, I go for the most expensive option, the lobster miso. When there are no coupons available, I go back to the salt flavor. The chashu here is great - not too fatty, tender, and seared which I really like. The half-cooked egg is also a nice touch, and it's included from the start, which is great considering how expensive eggs have become. With many places charging extra for egg toppings, I really appreciate that.

The restaurant was full during lunchtime with a waitlist for one person. I ordered the Chicken Paitan Ramen Set for 1,000 yen, which includes four types of ramen: Chicken Paitan, Spicy Chicken Paitan, Flying Fish, and Miso Chicken Paitan. I was surprised that the default base was soy sauce instead of salt. The taste was rich and the eating experience was light. The direction of the flavors is similar to Nanabee, but the Chicken Paitan here is stronger. The soy sauce base makes the umami flavor more pronounced and the option for extra noodles is reasonable. Personal preferences may vary, but if you're in the neighborhood, this is a good restaurant.

Recently, even ramen has become an expensive food. I think the miso chicken broth ramen was around 980 yen. Personally, I wonder if this type of ramen is trendy now? They even provided instructions on how to eat it at the counter... I wish the base flavor was stronger, and I wanted curly noodles. The custom-made noodles didn't suit me. I also wished the soup had more punch.

This restaurant is near my parents' house, so I couldn't read the kanji but I knew of its existence. I finally went there. I arrived 10 minutes before opening time with determination. There were already 4 people lined up in front of me. It seems to be a popular place. I ordered Tori Shio Ramen and Chicken Donburi from the ticket machine when it opened. The ramen arrived in about 7 minutes, followed by the donburi. Let's dig in. First, the soup. Wow, this is amazing. I'm not a big fan of chicken shio ramen, but I might like this soup. The noodles are flat noodles. I'm not a big fan of flat noodles either, but they go well with the soup here. However, I tend to get tired of chicken shio ramen soup halfway through. Maybe that's why there's a side dish of cut lemon, which when squeezed, adds a refreshing taste and makes me want more. I added a little black pepper, and in no time, both the soup and noodles were finished. The chicken donburi, made with chicken breast, was not dry and I really liked it, especially with the egg yolk. It might be a bit pricey at 450 yen, but overall, I spent about 1500 yen on lunch and I was very satisfied. I'll definitely visit again. I wonder what I should eat next time. I want to come with my partner. Thank you for the meal! ✨

Visited based on a friend's recommendation. Upon entering, I immediately noticed the upscale and elegant atmosphere, similar to a high-end sushi or traditional Japanese restaurant. There were two male chefs in the kitchen and one female server in the dining area. The two chefs in white coats working behind the counter added to the luxurious feel.
After being seated, the female server kindly explained the menu. The cleanliness and professionalism of the staff in their white coats made a good impression.
We started with the basic chicken broth ramen and the miso chicken broth ramen. Following the instructions on how to eat, we first tried a sip of the soup. It was delicious! Mixing in the three types of vinegar for flavor variation also added to the enjoyment. While the miso chicken broth ramen was tasty, my preference was for the chicken broth ramen.
The flat noodles had a slight chewiness and paired well with the soup. The chashu pork had both tender and firm parts (my partner got all tender pieces). The other toppings complemented the ramen perfectly, making it possibly the best chicken broth ramen I've ever had, on par with the one I tried in Nagoya. I wanted to give it a score in the 4-point range, but there was a minor issue that didn't sit right with me, so I settled on this score.
Although there was a small concern, the food was delicious, and I plan to visit again. I hope that the issue will be resolved by my next visit. It was a very enjoyable meal. Thank you!

Last night, I had the "Chicken White Broth Ramen" at a restaurant with a sophisticated atmosphere resembling a sushi restaurant or a traditional Japanese inn. The staff, who looked like traditional Japanese chefs, prepared the dish elegantly. The popular chicken white broth ramen had a refined presentation, but the creamy soup had a strong and delicious chicken flavor. #SapporoGourmet #SapporoShiroishiWard #Ramen #ChickenWhiteBroth

Chicken broth ramen for 980 yen, meat rice for 350 yen. I visited during lunchtime. The restaurant is supervised by a Michelin-starred chef, so even though there was a long line, it was worth the wait. The broth was rich and the noodles were delicious with a medium thickness. I've tried many ramen places, but this one really makes you think.

I ordered the Spicy Chicken White Broth (1,000 yen) and 2 pieces of fried chicken (170 yen) for a total of 1,170 yen. I was impressed by the chicken white broth on a previous visit, so I decided to try a different menu item this time. However, the Spicy Chicken White Broth was still delicious! The perfect level of spiciness satisfied even someone like me who loves spicy food. The richness of the broth made me feel like I was eating tantanmen by the time I finished. The fried chicken was not zangi, but simply "fried chicken." It had a light flavor, seemingly not marinated, and was meant to be eaten with vinegar from the table. It can be versatile in terms of flavor, but eating the fried chicken alone may leave you wanting more. The cost performance is good, and it was delicious. I will definitely go back. Thank you for the meal.

In front of and next to the restaurant, there is a parking lot where a total of 6 cars can be parked, which is convenient. The restaurant was full, so we had to wait a bit inside, during which we purchased our meal tickets from the ticket machine. My companion ordered the Spicy Chicken White Soup Set, so I chose the Spicy Chicken White Soup ramen. I also ordered the Meat Rice separately and paid in cash. We placed our orders when we were seated. The Chicken White Soup was rich and full of flavor, a must-try for Chicken White Soup lovers. The Spicy Chicken White Soup tasted similar to Tantanmen due to its base being Chicken White Soup, but it was a completely different dish, as expected. It was hard to detect the flavor of the spices like Sichuan pepper. I am thinking of trying the Chicken White Soup Miso flavor next time. The Meat Rice was delicious, with the sauce soaking into the rice well and complementing the rich egg perfectly. It was a great meal.

I had the Spicy Chicken Paitan Dive Rice Set for dinner this time, along with some fried chicken, making it a pretty hearty set. The spiciness paired well with the noodles here, just the right amount of heat and flavor, which was delicious. The vinegar on the table also added an extra complexity to the soup, making it even more delicious. And the fried chicken was surprisingly tasty! Despite being small, it was juicy and had a basic deliciousness that didn't overpower the ramen. Highly recommended!

I am a wandering curry and ramen enthusiast, dining alone. This is my memo-like review. If you are looking for concise information about the restaurant and food, please read other reviews. It's been about two years since I stumbled upon this soup curry shop near me while riding my bike to another place. I had just tried a similar type of ramen before, so I didn't visit this shop at that time. However, this season, I expanded my dining range to explore the area across the Toyohira River, where I found several interesting restaurants. The shop is located in Kikusu Rokusui 1-chome, Shiroishi-ku. It seems they have bought the adjacent corner lot to create a private parking lot. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is clean and bright, with a white color scheme that doesn't feel like a typical ramen shop. The ventilation and air conditioning seem impressive, creating a comfortable dining environment. The menu features various ramen options with side dishes like "dive rice" and "2 pieces of fried chicken." I decided to try the normal "Chicken White Broth" ramen first. The broth had a soy sauce flavor, and I found it slightly expensive for the portion size. The absence of salt was surprising to me, as I usually associate it with chicken white broth. The presentation was stylish, with a bowl containing charred pork slices, half a seasoned egg, sliced purple onions, greens, and green onions. The creamy chicken white broth had a rich and gentle flavor with a hint of soy sauce. The rules even specified that food photos should be taken within 20 seconds, so I hurriedly took a picture. The soup was delicious, with a harmonious blend of creamy texture, subtle umami, and a hint of soy sauce.

I started with the Shibikara and it was delicious. I had the regular chicken white broth before, but this one was definitely better. The spiciness of the chili oil and the numbing sensation of the Sichuan pepper worked really well together and suited my taste. The regular chicken white broth is elegant and light, perfect for when you want something simple, while the Shibikara is great when you're craving something with a kick.

Miso Chicken Paitan Ramen with 2 pieces of fried chicken and Dive Meshi set. I arrived in the evening as a friend wanted to eat delicious chicken paitan. I got there 10 minutes before the evening opening and surprisingly no wait. It seems that aiming for 5 PM allows for a smooth entry as this place has been very crowded lately. It had been 2 months since my last visit, and when I saw the ticket machine, I thought, "Oh, the prices have gone up..." but in this day and age, it can't be helped. I chose the miso flavor for the Dive Meshi set without hesitation. I'll leave the detailed explanation to others, but everything from the soup, noodles, toppings, condiments, fried chicken, and Dive Meshi was fantastic! The soup may be better in the normal chicken paitan, but the miso was also excellent!

Miso in clear soup noodles!? I was surprised with just one bite! It's incredibly delicious! The mild taste of clear soup combined with strong sweetness of miso creates the ultimate soup! The noodles are thick and curly, with a firm texture that goes well with the amazing soup! It was so delicious that I finished it in no time! After finishing the noodles, I usually put rice in the remaining soup, but this time I wanted to try the "nikumeshi" that I learned about on Tabelog, so I went straight to try it! It was also delicious! I ordered the "karaage" but I was already full from the ramen and nikumeshi! I pushed through and enjoyed the karaage as well! It's a place where you can have a great time again next time! Thank you for the meal!

Arrived at the restaurant on Saturday, 3 minutes before opening at 11 am. Already 6 people were in line, and the store had just opened. More people kept coming, with customers waiting outside. The popularity of the restaurant remains unchanged. This was my 5th visit in 2 months. The reason for visiting again so soon was because I saw a new menu item on the signboard. There were 3 staff members, both male and female. I purchased the "Lobster Miso Ramen" (1000 yen) from the ticket machine. First, I received instructions on how to eat the "Chicken White Broth" along with a slice of lemon. Soon after, my order arrived, which was slightly darker in color than the usual "Chicken White Broth Miso". The miso was creamy with a perfect balance of chicken white broth and lobster, creating a rich and flavorful taste. The flat noodles were still chewy as usual. Despite my previous criticism of the chashu, it paired well with this rich broth. The chashu itself was delicious, a spiral-cut pork char siu. The vegetables included green onions, mitsuba, and purple onions. I was very satisfied with the delicious taste once again. I gave a higher score for the "food and taste" this time! Next time, I will try the other new menu item, the "Mixed Ramen".

I haven't been there recently, but I visited for the first time in May this year and became hooked, going back a few times. I had noticed the shop because there was always a line outside, so I was curious. On my first visit, I went with a colleague and ordered the Miso Chicken Paitan Dive Meshi Set and 2 pieces of fried chicken. The first taste was quite shocking, creamy, rich, and just delicious! There aren't many shops in Sapporo that serve chicken paitan, and it was a type of ramen I had never tried before, so I got hooked. I went back a few more times to try the Salt Chicken Paitan, Spicy, and Lobster Miso. They were all delicious, but in the end, I liked the Miso Chicken Paitan the best. They also had lemon and various types of vinegar for flavor changes, which made the experience even more enjoyable! The staff were all polite and the atmosphere of the shop was great. I definitely want to go back again in the future. Thank you for the meal!

I ordered Chicken White Broth Ramen (940 yen), extra Char Siu (200 yen), Rich Egg Meat Rice (350 yen), and 2 pieces of fried chicken (170 yen) for a total of 1,660 yen. I have tried various Chicken White Broth Ramen before, but I finally found the perfect one. The harmony between the chicken white broth soup and the noodles is amazing! It's really difficult to make a good chicken white broth, but they nailed it here. The Char Siu was thick and satisfying. The Rich Egg Meat Rice was packed with meat, and the rice soaked in the broth was delicious. The fried chicken was just okay, but it tasted better with vinegar. I ordered too much and ended up feeling stuffed halfway through. Thank you for the meal.

The chicken white broth and dive rice set (1000 yen) made me feel a bit mismatched. It bothered me throughout. There were empty seats in the waiting area, but there was an entry restriction in place. Perhaps they prioritize the atmosphere inside the restaurant over making people wait outside. When seated at the counter like a sushi restaurant, they provide a towel and eating instructions, but the lack of storage space, tissues, or napkins, and the note about returning dishes to the counter felt out of place with the restaurant's setting and ambiance. I think this may be due to their response to the COVID-19 situation. I found myself expecting more in terms of service, which left me feeling uneasy as I ate the ramen. The smooth chicken white broth soup and flat medium noodles were very delicious. The onion slices, green onions, and watercress were well balanced. The pork chashu may have been a bit heavy for the soup. Sprinkling fish powder on the dive rice with pickled plum increased the cat food-like feeling. I tried three types of vinegar little by little, but I think it's best to savor the ramen on its own. Next time, I will try the shrimp miso ramen. Thank you for the meal.

I had been curious for a while and happened to have a coupon for Fripa, so I stopped by. I ordered the chicken white broth ramen with 2 pieces of zangi and a dive rice set! It was only 1000 yen with the coupon. The rich chicken white broth soup was very delicious! The zangi had plenty of juicy meat, it was incredibly tasty. They also provided lemon and three types of vinegar for flavor variation, so I enjoyed it until the end without getting tired of it! I poured the remaining broth over the dive rice (with pickled plum on top)! I was able to enjoy every last drop and left feeling full. Thank you for the meal! ✌️

Chicken white broth... Actually, I'm not a fan of chicken white broth. I was recommended by a ramen enthusiast friend to go there. I arrived around 13:40 on Monday and luckily found the last parking space. It's a ticket system. I still get nervous. I ordered the safe choice of chicken white broth. I headed to the counter where the staff were all dressed in sushi restaurant-like uniforms, giving a sense of luxury. They provided a list of things to do after the ramen arrives at each seat, such as taking a photo within a certain number of seconds or how to enjoy the soup. They are kind. I don't want to be a weird customer, so I follow the instructions. There were three types of vinegar on the table, including something soaked in each container like ethnic? (I think) dried fish, orange, etc. It's interesting. They can be used for flavor enhancement. After a few minutes of waiting, the bowl, which was being blended like a blender, arrived at my table. There was a word in the previous notice about "emulsified soup," so I guess that's what it is. I'm excited. The ramen has arrived. First, the soup... Hmm, it's smooth... rich. It's delicious. Personally, I wish it was a bit hotter. The noodles... they have a chewy texture, which seems to be popular these days. Unfortunately, it's not my preference. Seeking a change in flavor, I reach for the vinegar on the table. With three options, I quickly finish the soup while trying them out. Perhaps I'm not a fan of the smoothness of white broth... but that's how it is. The char siu pork was tender and delicious, despite its appearance. Someone ordered TKG, and it looked rich and appetizing. If I had more room in my stomach, I might have tried it.

Chikusui's popular restaurant, Tori Paitan Ramen Yuyu-san! On this day, I chose the Spicy version! The creamy white soup with a blend of multiple types of Sansho pepper adds a spicy kick that complements the soup perfectly, giving it a unique twist from the normal version! It also pairs well with rice as a finishing touch.
