I am a man in my 40s currently living in Kyushu. About 10 years ago, I worked in the eastern and northern areas of Hokkaido, around Kushiro to Monbetsu, and discovered some delicious restaurants. A friend introduced me to a place where I tried liver sashimi for the first time and was hooked by the sensation of it melting in my mouth. I visited many times after that. I remember the shop being run by an old lady. The sagari and white horumon were also amazing. Even in winter, beer and yakiniku go well together. I haven't been there in a while, but I wonder if the old lady is still doing well and if the shop is still there. If anyone in the area has recently visited, please share information. If it's still open, I definitely want to go try the liver sashimi again from Kyushu.
