I didn't know that the izakaya I used to visit had closed down before my visit on May 9, 2022. Since it was far from my home, I couldn't go there regularly, but I often pass by that area, so I tend to notice when a new restaurant opens. This time, I had some business at the residence of one of Aso's subordinates, and when I stopped by, the subordinate suggested going out to eat together, saying he was ready with his wallet. Although I didn't feel like treating him, I agreed, and we decided to go for grilled chicken skewers. The restaurant had a parking lot for two cars behind the building. Inside the restaurant, the two of us who couldn't drink ordered a small cup of oolong tea for 250 yen, which didn't seem cheap considering the size of the cup. There was a sign on the wall for "Drug Eggs" priced at 150 yen, which turned out to be seasoned eggs that are said to be addictive like drugs. They were delicious! I might try making them at home. The other food items had slightly high prices. The chicken and pork skewers were slightly thick and cooked very fluffy and delicious. However, the price of 200 yen for chicken hearts was a bit disappointing. Also, the 600 yen fried chicken dish only had four small pieces, which was a bit underwhelming. It seems like I was too focused on the prices while eating.
