In the 2020 Hokkaido pilgrimage trip, when it comes to Hokkaido souvenirs, the limited edition Jagapokkuru is considered the top choice. This is because it is only sold in Hokkaido by a major confectionery manufacturer. I happened to be drawn into a restaurant with flashy neon signs in Sapporo Station and found Jagapokkuru there. I bought one for souvenirs and one for myself. When I opened it, I found that the potato skin was still attached, and the processing method of mashed potatoes was different from typical processed products. The frying method seemed to be meticulous, and the salt used was also unique to the Okhotsk region. It's no wonder that when you eat it, you can imagine the scenery of Okhotsk. It's delicious and makes a great gift for those who don't like sweet treats.

Due to a virus-related computer failure, the migration process to a new desktop computer has been completed. I am still getting used to Windows 10 for the first time and due to health reasons, I am still not very familiar with it. However, I have resumed liking and commenting. Thank you for your understanding. In April 2019, I visited "Omiyage Koubou Natoriya," a specialty shop for Hokkaido souvenirs. They have a branch called "Omiyage Koubou Fujiya" in the basement of Sapporo La Fia. The main store is located in Hakodate in southern Hokkaido. I also visited "Fujiiya Honten" in the basement of Mitsukoshi Sapporo Store, which sells high-quality seafood products like hair crab. The store changes its name depending on the products it sells, but all products are focused on Hokkaido. I visited this shop with my usual companion to buy Hokkaido souvenirs. The shop is located in the JR Sapporo Station area in Sapporo Chuo Ward, in the Apia West area of the underground shopping street at JR Sapporo Station. Inside the shop, there is a wide selection of famous Hokkaido sweets. They also sell goods related to Sapporo Maruyama Zoo and a few folk crafts. The Hokkaido limited edition tea pickles "Kegani Chazuke" and "Uni Chazuke" from Nagatanien are somehow a staple in our house. I bought a box of them which includes 4 packs of Kegani Chazuke and 2 packs of Uni Chazuke. The base is the usual Nagatanien tea pickles with a hint of flavors from hair crab and sea urchin. The price is 648 yen (tax included). The Nagatanien Hokkaido limited edition tea pickles "Kegani Chazuke" and "Uni Chazuke" are reliable tea pickles. After all, they are Nagatanien's tea pickles. Although they are souvenirs from Hokkaido, even a Sapporo resident like me would want to enjoy these tea pickles. They are convenient not only as souvenirs but also for home use. I wonder which Hokkaido souvenir I should try next time. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I bought Kyun-chan ramen with cute characters on the packaging, similar to buying a CD based on the cover. I purchased the miso and soy sauce flavors. While kids may enjoy it, I found the soup to be too salty for my taste. The noodles seemed more suitable for cooking in a pot rather than for regular consumption. I had to use 1.5 times more water to dilute the saltiness, and even then, it was still too strong. I ended up having to dilute it twice as much to make it more palatable. Overall, I would rate it 3.3 out of 5, with the taste being 2.8, service 3.3, atmosphere 3.0, and value for money 2.9. There are various Hokkaido souvenirs available, so it could be a good gift for someone else. The location is in Sapporo, Chuo-ku, Kita 5-jo Nishi 3-4, at APIA Natoriya.☆☆☆ Preview of the next review ☆☆☆I will choose carefully to make sure I get a winning ticket!

Welcome! This is a shop where you can find classic Hokkaido souvenirs located in the basement of Sapporo Station, Apia. Local customers often overlook this shop, but it is worth a visit as they have a variety of Hokkaido souvenirs. From retort curry soup to instant ramen, local character goods, and novelty items, they have it all. The store may seem small and not very noticeable, but they offer a decent selection of Hokkaido souvenirs. They also have popular items like Tom's usual trends and of course, Hokkaido butter. The Hokkaido butter candies are a beloved sweet treat with a buttery flavor and a chewy texture. The Shirokuma Ramen comes in salt flavor (white package) and soy sauce flavor (pink package), and it's a non-fried healthy ramen option. You can customize the toppings to your liking. Overall, this shop offers a variety of interesting and unique souvenir items that are worth more than just a meal's worth. With many novelty items to choose from, it's a casual and fun souvenir shop to visit. Thank you for the meal!

I bought a product at a local department store's specialty exhibition. It is "Yuraku Seika Pink Black Thunder" with 10 pieces for 497 yen. This product is sold exclusively in Hokkaido. It is said to get along well with the white Black Thunder. The Hokkaido limited edition "Pink Black Thunder" has been renewed and reappeared as a limited-time product. Hokkaido strawberry and Hokkaido milk match perfectly♪ You can enjoy the unique flavor of Hokkaido with the sweet and sour strawberry and rich milk taste. In addition to the biscuit that creates the original Black Thunder's "crunchy texture," strawberry chips are also added. The sweet and sour strawberry adds an accent, making it even more delicious. Thank you for the meal. The price includes tax.

I'm alone at Natoriya Sapporo. Yesterday, I went to three bars to drink, and this morning I had a not-so-good oyakodon at Nakam○. Since I made quite a bit of money in a short time yesterday, I've decided to quickly head back today without going around too much. My wife told me to "buy blue cheese," so I thought of stopping by a place before Daimaru opens in 10 minutes. I'm interested in Royce's chocolate-covered potato chips, even though they're a bit expensive. Should I go for the bitter flavor? I'm not sure which one is more bitter between the two options. One says "Mild Bitter." Does that mean mild is stronger or bitter is stronger? I decided to ask, "Which one is the bitter one?" and was told it's not that one. I ended up buying the bitter one. This... I can't stop eating it. It's less salty than before. The chocolate is bitter, and the chips are delicious and addictive.

This shop is a souvenir shop located in the underground shopping area of Apia directly connected to Sapporo Station. I came here to use a coupon I received from the "We Love Sapporo Campaign" right before the deadline. The campaign coupons are valid until March 1st, but the number of shops where you can use them (especially restaurants) is fewer compared to other hotel stay coupons. So, I ended up with the coupon until the last minute. I bought these souvenirs for myself, not for others. The items I purchased include Lucky Chicken Soup Curry, Rokkatei Marseille Butter Sand, Hogaja (scallops & potato senbei), Oh! Grilled Corn (rice crackers), and Smoked Potatoes (potato chips). I couldn't find the receipt, so I'll skip the prices this time. Most of these are items I have tried before and found delicious. Hogaja, which I bought for the first time this time, was a bit harder than I expected. I thought it would be thin and crispy like typical shrimp senbei, but it was a bit tough. When the "Manpou" campaign ends, I will resume my "at least once a week hotel stay" lifestyle using the "DoMin discount" and will come back to shop with the coupons I receive at that time. Thank you for the meal.

Light snack usage. Visited alone. Below are some thoughts: - Located directly connected to Sapporo Station in APIA. - Purchased a selection of chocolates from Royce. - Paid by credit card. - Contains many bite-sized chocolates at a reasonable price. - It was delicious.

Received as a gift in February 2019, I tried "Jaga Pokkuru" from Hokkaido. It is a product by Calbee under the brand name "Potato Farm" and is only produced at the Chitose factory in Hokkaido. The official name is "Jaga Pokkuru Okhotsk Salt Flavor." It is made with 100% Hokkaido potatoes, Okhotsk grilled salt, and kelp extract powder. The ingredients are all from Hokkaido, and it is made by cutting the potatoes with the skin into stick shapes and frying them in small batches in a small pot, which gives it a homemade feel. The texture is crispy, and the saltiness is mild. It was delicious and perfect as a snack or with beer.
