On July 14th, after finishing my plate of spaghetti napoletana, I stopped by a home center that I sometimes visit. I rarely go to the 2nd floor, but this time I decided to check it out after hearing about the renovation. To my surprise, there was a cafe that I didn't know existed. I noticed they were selling soft serve ice cream for only ¥100. It was a little hot that day, so I couldn't resist and bought one from the vending machine. I chose a cone and received it from the staff. The creamy taste was surprisingly good for the price, although the portion was a bit small. As I was eating, the cone started to leak from the bottom, but I didn't mind too much considering it was only ¥100. I quickly finished it while enjoying the cool treat.

"BENBEN CAFE Hakkon Tsuifun-dori Store" located on the second floor of DCM Homac at the intersection of Tsuifun-dori and Suya Han-dori (Ichiba-dori) in Hokkaido. The cafe is currently operating in four locations in Hokkaido and plans to expand to around five locations in the Tohoku and Kanto regions. The cafe was bustling with customers, offering table and counter seating with a capacity of about 20 people. The menu includes soft serve ice cream, pie, pretzels, croissants, soft drinks, and Chinese buns, all at incredibly affordable prices. I tried the soft serve ice cream for 100 yen, which was served in a cone. The ice cream had a mild sweetness and a strong vanilla flavor, with a soft texture that melted easily. The cafe also offers AC power outlets and USB ports at the seating area. Overall, it was a great value for the price. I noticed that many customers also purchased bread from "Boston Bake" on the first floor. I will definitely try their pie next time."

On a certain weekday, I visited a relatively new café near JR Hassamu Station on the second floor of Homac in Nishioka, Toyohira-ku, where I have been a few times. It is a small café where you can use it at a significantly low cost. The parking lot is provided by Homac, so if it's available, you can park as much as you want. The store is located on the second floor of the building, and although it is not very spacious, there are USB and power outlets at the counter, which is a nice touch. The BGM playing is the in-store broadcast of Homac. On this day, I ordered a café au lait (100 yen) and the most expensive item on the menu, the "An Butter Pretzel (240 yen)," which caught my attention, using the Moti ticket vending machine and handed it to the staff, then waited on the spot. Now, for a bite... Hmm, wrapped in plastic, the pretzel-like bread dough with a little elasticity was served, and when I ate it as if it were a pretzel, it felt completely different, making me smile unintentionally. However, the plain-flavored dough is not bad at all, and the ratio of red bean paste and margarine is good, I wonder? Next, the café au lait... It is a simple machine-made drink, so it is decent for 100 yen. I don't have many reasons to visit this area, but just like the store in Nishioka, Toyohira-ku, I like this type of café because it is easy to use. Thank you for the meal.

When it gets hot, the symptoms worsen, it is a designated rare disease by the government. There is no cure for my rare disease yet. "Blood products" are administered continuously for 5 days, temporarily improving symptoms. I was hospitalized 5 times last year for rare disease treatment. I was admitted for the second time this year on April 4th and discharged 11 days ago. I couldn't like or comment during my hospital stay, but I will definitely do so later. There are currently 9 stores nationwide, including 2 in Sapporo. The "Benben Cafe - Hassamu Oiwake Store" opened on April 17, 2022, during my second hospitalization this year. After being discharged, I visited with my usual companion for the first time. This cafe is located on the 2nd floor of "DCM Homac Super Depot - Hassamu Oiwake Store" along Oiwake Street in Sapporo's Nishi Ward. Please check the exact location on Tabelog. I visited in the early afternoon on a weekday. There were 3 customers before me and 2 after me. The cafe has both table and counter seats for dining in. The products are purchased through a ticket machine. Soft serve ice cream costs 100 yen, and all prices are reasonable. I had the soft serve ice cream at the table seat and took home the "Nott a Croissant" for 180 yen and the "Nikuman" for 120 yen. I enjoyed them as a snack at 3 pm at home. The soft serve ice cream in mini size was milk flavor. The soft serve machine is a single-nozzle type from Nissei. The cone is a small size from Nissei, with a relatively smooth and moderately sweet taste. Price: 100 yen The "Nott a Croissant" is a buttery croissant with a unique appearance of a long bread tied in a knot. It has a good buttery flavor. Price: 180 yen The "Nikuman" is a quality product from "Imuraya" for a reasonable price. Price: 120 yen The 100 yen soft serve ice cream is rare and has a natural feel with lower viscosity than mainstream 100 yen soft serves. It's a good deal for 100 yen. The "Nott a Croissant" and "Nikuman" are also of good quality and reasonably priced. It's a convenient cafe for a break. I hope they introduce it to all stores soon. I'm tired from visiting the fourth new store. The first cafe was with L-san, the second sandwich place was with T-san, and the phone number for the third bakery was unknown. Finally, at the fourth place, I was hoping for soft serve ice cream, but they had machine trouble and had to close right in front of me. I ended up buying an iced coffee for 100 yen, a butter pretzel for 190 yen, and a butter stick pretzel for 190 yen. The Benben Cafe is a cafe located in a limited store at DCM Homac, and their soft serve ice cream is made with milk from Hokkaido, with 50% fresh milk content. I also bought an iced coffee, which is only 100 yen. The pretzels I bought are usually salty, but with butter injected, they have a taste that I like. Next time, I'll aim for soft serve ice cream and taiyaki. This place is great for meetings in the neighborhood, and they have power outlets so you can even do remote work here. I come to Homac often, so I might stop by here each time.
