I used to live relatively close to this restaurant. I wish they offered delivery. I visited for lunch since I worked nearby. I think Washan is a hidden gem with good value. I ordered the Shoyu Vegetable Ramen for 800 yen. The soup is a bit rich but easy to drink. It's more of a traditional ramen. It was crowded during lunchtime, with only a few counter seats available. This ramen is something I crave occasionally.

A ramen shop located in a residential area in Kagurazaka, Asahikawa City. It was busy when it opened, and it seems to be quite popular with a line of customers. There is a sign outside advertising "Asari Ramen" with a large photo. After some hesitation, two customers behind me also ordered the "Asari Ramen". It must be really popular. The "Asari Ramen" costs 950 yen. You can also add a rice dish (fried rice, char siu rice bowl, char siu mayo rice bowl, curry) for an additional 300 yen. I decided to go for the fried rice. The ramen arrived in about 10 minutes. The Asari Ramen had a good amount of clams in it. The soup was clear with a salty taste and plenty of clam essence, very flavorful. The noodles seemed to be Asahikawa-style, medium-thin. The toppings included bamboo shoots and a generous amount of watercress, which surprisingly complemented the light soup well. The fried rice was simple with eggs, green onions, and char siu. It was a bit moist, and it paired nicely with the light ramen. Some customers ordered the "Ebi Shio" or "Ebi Miso" flavors, which seemed to be the specialty seafood ramen options. Surprisingly, there was a kids' space in the restaurant, making it family-friendly.

This is a ramen shop located in a residential area. There is a spacious raised seating area, so it is suitable for families with small children. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and Char-mayo Don, and they were served in just 5 minutes. Fast! The ramen had a relatively clear soup with a strong shoyu flavor and was served slightly warm. The bamboo shoots were lightly seasoned, and the chashu was flavorful and tender, with the fatty parts melting in your mouth. The noodles were thin, curly, and cooked perfectly firm. Overall, it had a slightly different feel from the typical Asahikawa ramen. The Char-mayo Don looked very mayo-heavy, and when I tried it, it felt more like a Mayo-chashu Don. Personally, I prefer it with less mayonnaise. Next time, I'll try the Chashu Don.

This is my second visit. Last time I tried the "Shrimp Salt Ramen," which had a mellow flavor with a hint of the sea. This time, I ordered the "Shoyu Vegetable Ramen" for 800 yen, the "Gomoku Ankake Ramen" for 950 yen, and the "Shio Ramen + Chashu Don" for 1000 yen. Since the owner is running the place alone, I thought it might take a while after ordering, but the dishes arrived fairly quickly. The "Shoyu Vegetable Ramen" had a strong flavor similar to Asahikawa ramen. The noodles were curly and tangled well with the soup. The chashu was thick and tasty. I enjoy the soaked vegetables in the soup of vegetable ramen, so I mix it up and enjoy it thoroughly! It's a delicious bowl!

I had decided to go to Hanabi. The only issue was deciding what flavor to choose. I really like the soy sauce ramen here. It tastes like Asahikawa. But I also want to try other flavors besides soy sauce ramen. They have clam ramen too... I'm feeling the cold weather, so I think I'll go with the spicy miso to warm up. It was indeed carefully prepared. The soup was piping hot and customizable. The chashu had a good amount of fat but was light and delicious. If there were a bit more vegetables to add volume, I could eat heartily. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I moved to Kagurazaka and visited a ramen restaurant nearby. They had toys for small children to play with in the tatami room, which was great for families with kids. The staff were also very kind to children. The ramen was piping hot and delicious. I definitely want to go back again.

A stable deliciousness, a famous restaurant that I often visit because it's nearby. Personally, I think the soy sauce ramen is delicious. This time, I tried the negi ramen which I hadn't had before. The green onions are crisp and seasoned well, very tasty. The soy sauce flavor is really nice. The right amount of lard enhances that delicious flavor even more. But it's not greasy. Hmm, I still think it's delicious. You can park a few cars even if you go by car, so it's reassuring. There's a play area for children in the tatami room. It feels kind when the owner likes children. So, I want to go with my family next time. What should I eat next time? Oh, by the way, a customer was eating fried rice and it looked delicious. But ramen and fried rice, that's a cruel amount of carbohydrates, right...

This was my third visit to this place, but there are no photos or reviews... Why? Well, let's visit again after a long time. The interior was a bit messy, with the owner busy cooking and serving alone. There were only two other customers. I ordered the "Gomoku Ankake Ramen" for 850 yen. I was planning to get shoyu or salt ramen, but the tempting words "ankake" caught my eye. The ramen arrived with a dark-colored sauce. The taste was... hard to describe. It felt like something was missing, lacking in flavor or umami. Maybe they forgot something? The oyster sauce flavor and aroma were also missing. The texture was a bit slimy. I couldn't figure it out. Maybe I'll try the regular shoyu ramen next time. I think my first visit was with the shoyu ramen, and it wasn't that bad. Stay tuned for the next review!

I went here after a long time. I usually eat soy sauce ramen or spicy miso here, but today I wanted to try miso ramen with chashu on top. It's my first time trying chashu noodles here, so I was excited. It looks rich, but the taste is mild and the miso flavor gently spreads in my mouth. The chashu is tender with a nice texture. The noodles are cooked perfectly. Hmm, this place is really delicious. I wonder what I should try next time. The staff are also friendly and I can't help but become a repeat customer. Thank you for the meal.

Just the right amount of flavor. Vegetable miso ramen. Not too heavy, it was delicious. It was a cozy restaurant run by a married couple.

The ramen was shrimp salt ramen. It cost 850 yen, plus a chashu rice bowl for 250 yen, totaling 1,100 yen. The chashu was similar to the one I had at Ramen Shingen in Ishikari Hanakawa.

The vegetable miso ramen at Rampasu has a light soup with noodles cooked to my liking - slightly firm. The chashu has a rich flavor when chewed. I'm also interested in trying the set menu and other unique ramen options. I also purchased the reasonably priced Nukazuke Sōhachi Karei, which seems to be a rare find. When I looked at it at home, there were 6 small flounders included. I haven't tried it yet, but it seems like a good deal!

I found out about this restaurant from a visit to the food review site in May 2018, and I had never heard of it before. It's located in a hidden spot halfway down a street. I started with the shoyu ramen and fried rice set. They also have a karei fish pickled in rice bran available for takeout. There are three different sizes of the fish, each with a different price, so I might buy one on my way out. The ramen had a good flavor at first, but I got a bit tired of it halfway through. The fried rice was a bit too salty... I hope they can improve that. The karei fish I took home was the medium size for 400 yen, but it turned out to be 5 pieces! I mistakenly thought it was just one piece! It had a good amount of saltiness and was delicious. I'll try the large size next time!

I went to this restaurant with my coworkers. They have table seats and a raised tatami area which is great for groups. I ordered the spicy miso ramen because I love spicy food. The sweetness of the vegetables really stood out and the noodles were cooked perfectly as always. The chashu was also delicious. I finished my meal quickly because it was so good. I also appreciated that the restaurant is non-smoking. I definitely want to come back again. I always have a hard time deciding, but next time I really want to try the shrimp miso ramen.

We went to "Wa" in search of a delicious ramen shop. At the entrance, there were signs for shrimp salt ramen and shrimp miso ramen, and of course we ordered the shrimp-flavored "shrimp salt ramen"! My family ordered the "soy sauce chashu" and "spicy miso ramen". The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the balance of plenty of shrimp without overpowering the flavor was just right for the salt ramen. There are also various set menus available. The owner seems to be a fan of pro wrestling and martial arts, as they have pro wrestling nights on weekends!

Asahikawa. Kagurazaka 6-6... Located in a residential area not facing a major street that only locals would know. The landmark is the Satsudora on Platanus Street, behind it. If you go by JR, it's about a 15-minute walk from Midorigaoka Station on the Furano Line? There is parking space for 4 cars. This is my third attempt, if it doesn't work out this time, I'm giving up. Unusually for a ramen shop, they are only open for lunch on weekdays and until 8 pm on weekends. When you open the sliding door, you enter directly into the shop, without a windbreak room, so it seems cold in winter. It's exactly 12 o'clock, there are families in the raised tatami seating area, and a business-looking man at a table. The neighboring raised tatami area has a rare kids' room for a ramen shop. The menu has set menus with options on both sides... I decide to go with that. I order miso ramen and fried rice. Hmm, it feels cold. My feet are cold, quite cold. Am I wearing shorts? No, I'm wearing slacks. Unfortunately, it takes about 10 minutes for the food to come out. The soup of the ramen first... It's a mild miso flavor with a hint of pork bone and seafood, not as strong as typical Asahikawa ramen. The main ingredient is bean sprouts, with a decent amount, like a miso vegetable ramen. There are small chunks of minced meat. The noodles are a rare medium-thick curly type, and the cold chashu. When it's cold like this, the best way is to submerge the chashu. It becomes soft and melts in your mouth. The fried rice looks dry, but surprisingly has some moisture. There are some eggs and slightly uncooked white rice scattered around. This ramen shop seems to be loved by the locals.
