I heard that you can try Yokohama-style "Tamashinmune-ya" ramen at "Ajitoke" in the city. I've always wanted to try this "家系" style of ramen. This is a collaboration project between "Ajitoke" and "Tamashinmune-ya" at the Aeon Kitami store for a limited time. The menu offers a super extravagant topping and a regular one. I chose the regular one, "Shio Ramen" for 750 yen with a free large size option. The cloudy tonkotsu soup was very creamy with floating lard, possibly chicken oil. It added a nice touch. The noodles were thick straight noodles with a good chewy texture, similar to Yamaoka's noodles maybe. The toppings included chashu, quail egg, spinach, and 3 sheets of nori, which gave it a typical "家系" vibe. "Tamashinmune-ya" is a chain that claims to be a "家系" style ramen, but it seems different from the strict training famous "Yoshimuraya". Overall, it was quite delicious, so I'm satisfied.

I ordered miso ramen, a basic Sapporo miso ramen. I don't remember if the soup was this sweet before, it's been too long. It's just a delicious ramen. It's located inside Aeon so it's convenient for shopping. My wife had the special miso ramen and I think this one with a stronger taste was better. It had a good amount of sesame oil too. There is information that a new menu called "Rengoku Ramen" is available at the Ion clock tower. As a fan who has watched the Demon Slayer movie twice, I had to try it. I arrived at the restaurant as soon as it opened and ordered the Rengoku Ramen right away, along with 3 handmade dumplings. The exterior of the restaurant is very red, with about three whole red peppers in the ramen. There is spicy miso in the middle, which you're supposed to melt while eating. I took a sip of the soup first. Hmm, it's not that spicy. When the spicy miso melted, the richness and spiciness increased a bit. But for me, it was just mildly spicy. It's delicious, but I was expecting something extremely spicy. The soup was piping hot, and the noodles were firm, which I liked. I eat the handmade dumplings with vinegar and pepper. I've been hooked on them since watching "The Lonely Gourmet." The filling inside the dumplings is light and has a vegetable sweetness, and the skin is chewy, perfect for boiled dumplings. I tried adding one to the ramen, and it was delicious. In any case, I was very satisfied to be able to eat ramen named after my beloved Rengoku. I think I'll go watch the movie for the third time.

While shopping, I went to King's Restaurant but it was full of waiting customers. Feeling hungry, I decided to try the restaurant next to it, called "Clock Tower". It was 12:40 and the counter had "×" marks every other seat. I ordered soy sauce ramen. The chef was cooking with a loud sizzle from the wok. Soon, my bowl arrived with nostalgic stem seaweed. The noodles were chewy and delicious! I also enjoyed the crunchy bean sprouts and cabbage in the dish. The soup had a familiar taste, not as cloudy as in the picture. It was piping hot and tasty! The pork slices were a bit small, but that's okay. Unfortunately, there were no tissues provided, so I had to use my bag for my runny nose. When I saw the bill, it was 770 yen including tax. After 1 o'clock, the line at King's Restaurant had disappeared.

It's been a while since I visited Tokiwa-do Ramen! This is my first time writing a review on Tabelog. I was thinking of going for the regular miso ramen, but the limited menu option of "Oni Karai" caught my attention, so I decided to try that instead! You can choose the level of spiciness from two options, and I went with the milder one, "Aoi Oni," this time. The taste was a mix of miso, salt, and soy sauce, with a noticeable level of spiciness! The heat from the red pepper hits you straight on. The hot soup, typical of Sapporo ramen, really brings out the spiciness even more! It was spicy but... well, I managed to finish it! Too much spiciness isn't good for your body, so this level of spiciness might be just right (laughs).

Holiday. Shopping at AEON~♪ For lunch today, let's go to the food court on the 3rd floor. There are only 4 restaurants in the food court, and I haven't visited the recently opened "Iki〇ri Steak" yet, but I'm not very interested. Well, I'll visit it someday. So, here we are. "Ajino Tokeitai AEON Kitami Store". 11 o'clock. I'm the first customer. The menu seems to have changed again. I couldn't find the set menu I was looking for... There was a 300 yen "half fried rice," but... I think I'll just go with something normal today. "Miso Ramen" for 756 yen. This might be my first time trying the default miso here. First, the soup... It seems to be red miso. It has a slightly sharp taste. Rolled chashu, menma, green onions, wakame stems, and stir-fried vegetables. The Sapporo noodles are perfect as always. It's just delicious. (*^_^*) "Cold Salt Ramen" for 864 yen. It's not "cold" ramen, but rather cold ramen. It arrives in a cool glass container. The soup is extremely light with just a hint of saltiness. The umami flavor is also subtle. The noodles are very thin, almost like somen. This is a bit... no, quite unsatisfying. I still prefer hot ramen even in the summer.^ ^

The sesame miso was average. I prefer the sesame miso from Nakayama Shoten or Kyuraku. It was on the milder side. The jumbo dumplings used to be tastier before. I don't think I would come back for these dumplings (;_;) It was cheap, but the restaurant just doesn't suit my taste.

Day off. Shopping at AEON. It's lunchtime, so let's have lunch at the food court on the 3rd floor. Even though it's a food court, the options are limited...soba, pasta, ramen. ...There aren't many choices in the countryside. Still, there are a variety of options available. Next to it, "Gyoza no Maru" had a line. Today, I feel like having ramen. (*´ω｀*) And so, here we are at "Ajino Tokeitai AEON Kitami Store" around 12:30. About 70% full. It's nice to see a lone old man at the counter. (laughs) Now, let's order☆ The menu is extensive, so it's a bit hard to decide. I chose the "Black Miso Ramen" for 880 yen. As soon as it arrived, it smelled delicious. Burnt garlic with black ma-yu♪ It has a fragrant red miso base soup. Of course, the noodles are Sapporo noodles. There's chashu, menma, chopped green onions and onions, shredded red chili peppers, stir-fried vegetables in the soup. The miso flavor is surprisingly light. It's so delicious. I also ordered the "Half Fried Rice" for 270 yen. It's fluffy and moist. Delicious. They were shaking the pan in the kitchen to make it. I used to make fried rice often, but now my wok is sleeping under the kitchen counter. (laughs) I should try making it again sometime. (*´ω｀*) The second branch opened in the city recently. I would like to visit there next time.

The Chinese soba noodles at the summer noodle festival were priced at 399 yen. It was cheap, but the taste was bland, so I had to add soy sauce and pepper. It was beyond the point of being able to adjust. It's nice to have something inexpensive, but if the taste is not good, it's not satisfying. I hope they can make a satisfying bowl of noodles, even if it's small like the ramen at conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The taste was like cheap ramen, with a soup that seemed like it didn't cost much.

The cold salt ramen at the summer noodle festival was 499 yen with a coupon for gyoza and flavored egg. The soup gets diluted quickly because there is ice in it. The soup tasted weak and it was difficult to eat. The flavored egg and gyoza were delicious.

Extremely flavorful miso ramen with plenty of toppings, not too salty, and remained delicious until the last bite. It was a hot day, but I even felt refreshed.

I ordered miso ramen. The first impression of the soup was "burnt smell." It may be intended to have a burnt miso flavor, but the burnt smell was overpowering. Also, it was too sweet. The miso flavor was lost. I had it at another store a few years ago, but was it always like this...? The only redeeming factor was that the chashu was delicious. I would like to have this chashu as a side dish.
