From Sapporo to Kitami, on a drinking tour, this is the second stop. We spent about 3 hours at Obanzai Kame-san and it's almost 8 pm now. The location is near Union Building on Yamashita Street from the city center. The master is familiar with me from a previous visit to Cafe Bar Shin in Joyful Building 1F where I had hot pot. He mentioned that he moved here from a larger restaurant due to a back injury. There was one customer at the counter when we arrived, and we later engaged in a long conversation with the master and two other customers. The master recommended the gyoza and yakitori, so we ordered gyoza and received a complimentary yakitori skewer. The gyoza was meaty and the yakitori was small but tasty. Now, we must head to the third stop.
