Today, I had a chicken fillet sandwich dinner for the first time in a while. I always order just the chicken at KFC because I'm not interested in anything else. Today, I bought a chicken fillet sandwich and three pieces of fried chicken! I felt like I could easily eat five pieces, but I limited myself to three because I'm watching my calories. If I could specify the parts, I would choose three chicken breasts, but when you order three pieces, you always get a drumstick and a wing included, which makes me feel a little cheated. In October 2018, for my 4th review, I visited KFC to try their limited edition "Crushers" dessert called "Drinkable Sweets Crushers." The specific store I went to was the AEON Hassamu store, which is a limited seller of the "Crushers." There are three flavors available, and I tried the new product launching on October 11th, the "Apricot Sauce-filled Cheese Tart" developed in collaboration with the famous cheese tart specialty store Pablo. My companion chose the "Strawberry Mille-feuille." The "Crushers Apricot Sauce-filled Cheese Tart" features a base with a rich cheese flavor, a hint of sweetness, and a crunchy whole wheat layer, topped with whipped cream and a thick apricot sauce. Mixing it creates a citrusy flavor. The "Strawberry Mille-feuille" has crushed ice with a strawberry milk flavor, similar to Tabasco's Frappuccino, topped with whipped cream, strawberry sauce, and crushed pie inside. Each costs 480 yen (tax included). The "Apricot Sauce-filled Cheese Tart" is subtly sweet and has a slightly mature taste, while the "Strawberry Mille-feuille" is sweeter and more suitable for children. Unfortunately, my favorite Red Hot Chicken is not available in the fall. I hope it becomes a year-round item. Overall, the meal was delicious. Thank you for the treat.

I love Kenta's biscuits. I visited to try their limited edition fermented butter biscuits! The fermented butter flavor was stronger than I expected, but in a good way. It was delicious! I topped it with plenty of sweet maple honey and enjoyed it. I used a coupon from the app to get it for 100 yen. Very satisfied!

I went to try the spicy honey chicken because I wanted to. Even though I'm not good with spicy food, it was okay. The sweetness of the honey comes first, followed by a little spiciness.

After a break of about 4 years, I noticed that there have been various system changes on Tabelog, and the way to write reviews seems different from before. This time, I went to the Aeon Sapporo Hassamu store and bought the "Red Hot Chicken Pack B." I also tried the "Crushers" drinkable sweets that have been on sale since June 21st. There are 3 flavors of Crushers available. Nowadays, I am in the era of elderly care, taking my elderly mother to the hospital twice a month. We both tried the limited edition "Yuzu Summer Julep." The Red Hot Chicken Pack B included 3 pieces of Red Hot Chicken, which were crispy and juicy, perfect for summer with a spicy kick. The Crushers were refreshing with crushed ice and fruity flavors. The Red Hot Chicken and Crushers were delicious, and I look forward to trying them again next time. Thank you for the meal.

I visited for lunch. I came to try the new menu items that are currently being sold. It was lunchtime, so I had to wait in line for a bit. The prices are a little cheaper during lunchtime. I ordered the "Cheese Chicken Sandwich Set," which comes with a sandwich, fries, and a drink. The sandwich was delicious, but it could have used a bit more cheese. On October 11, 2015, it was cloudy with occasional rain. Today, I came to AEON Mall Hassamu store with my son. This mall is spacious and I was impressed when I came here with my son last time. This is our second visit. After enjoying shopping, we went to KFC and got the Autumn Pack which includes 3 pieces of Original Chicken, 3 pieces of Fried Salmon, and a large Fried Potato. I was very curious about the Fried Salmon, so I tried it first. Each piece comes with a packet of tartar sauce, which I dipped it in. The coating was crispy and the salmon was delicious without a strong fishy taste. I prefer it over fish fry. The Original Chicken is a classic that I crave from time to time. October 2015: I stopped by the Ion Hatsu store and ordered the Autumn Set to eat inside the restaurant. I tried the Kentucky Fried Salmon, but I still prefer the chicken. The original drumstick that came with the set was delicious and easy to eat. Unfortunately, the fried potatoes were not the same as before, and the texture was not as good. The customer service could use some improvement. July 2015: Recently, I have been receiving a lot of KFC as gifts, and this time it was just a regular gift. I seem to be getting KFC a lot these days. Although I enjoy it, I am starting to worry about the high calories and salt content. The latest meal I had was warm and juicy, and the new curly fries were surprisingly tasty. I might prefer them over the regular fries. The boneless and original KFC chicken was delicious as always. I can't help but crave a cola or even a beer after having KFC. When I got home on June 3, there was a box from KFC that my parents had bought for me. I'm not sure why they went all the way to Hassamu to get it, but I appreciate it. The set they got included Original Recipe chicken, nuggets, and coleslaw. I'm not a fan of KFC nuggets due to a bad experience in the past, but this time they were surprisingly good. I still prefer McDonald's nuggets though. The Original Recipe chicken was as delicious as always. I left the coleslaw to my wife since I don't like it. I also bought "Original Chicken" and "Fried Potato S" for takeout. ■ Fried Fish Crispy type with a crunchy batter and thick dough. It contains cod. The cod has a strong chlorine odor. Is it for food poisoning prevention? Comes with special tartar sauce for 190 yen each. ■ Original Chicken 1 piece for 240 yen ■ Fried Potato S for 200 yen The crispy texture of the "Fried Fish" remains the same as before. All three have a strong chlorine taste in the cod. When you dip it in the special tartar sauce, the chlorine taste is less noticeable. I feel like the taste of the cod is different from before. It's a matter of personal preference, but I liked the taste from before. The "Original Chicken" pieces were small. It felt a bit lonely for 240 yen each. This store is located in the food court on the 1st floor of Aeon Mall Sapporo Hassamu store. It is in Hassamu, Nishi-ku, Sapporo. For the exact location of the store, please check on Tabelog. Aeon Mall Sapporo Hassamu store has a parking lot for 2,650 cars and a bicycle parking lot for 800 bikes. Having a parking lot for 2,650 cars is one of the largest in Sapporo. When I was at Aeon, I saw a KFC. I used to compete to eat it first, but I haven't eaten it much in recent years. However, I sometimes have a sudden craving for it. The TV commercial was actively promoting "Salt KFC". The influence of TV is significant. Another craving struck. Since there was a KFC at Aeon, I decided to buy it. I chose Salt KFC instead of the regular KFC. I also bought some nuggets. ■ Salt KFC Crispy and tasty salted chicken with a pepper seasoning. The chicken has a mild flavor. It tastes even better when you sprinkle the "pepper seasoning" on it. Be careful not to put too much, as it can be too salty. 1 piece for 260 yen. From the second piece onwards, it's 250 yen each. ■ Nuggets 1 box with 5 pieces Bite-sized and easy to eat. 5 pieces for 380 yen At home, I heat them up in a toaster oven rather than a microwave. I bought 3 pieces of Salt KFC, but they were all the smallest pieces. It seems like Salt KFC only has the small pieces. When you buy the regular fried chicken, you get one small piece out of three, with one large, one medium, and one small piece. Salt KFC only has the small pieces, so I think it's expensive. Personally, I prefer the taste of the regular fried chicken over Salt KFC. It may be a bit greasy, but I always end up craving the regular fried chicken. That's the feeling I get from KFC that seems to last a lifetime. In the evening, there were quite a few customers lining up. Next time, I want to try the regular fried chicken with plenty of meat. In a sense, what KFC needs amidst its continuing decline is not just products that satisfy daily use, but rather a "spark" in product development. Like a shotgun blast of new products, it is indeed attractive and delicious, especially for a company with a solid foundation. The white meat fry I had this time is flawless. However, I can't help but feel a sense of superficiality. For those of us in our 40s and older, KFC is somewhat special. Its overwhelming "brand appeal" and "image" used to sustain its business in the distant past. Why doesn't it effectively leverage its economies of scale? Isn't it somewhat difficult to introduce a surprising, "can't resist buying" hit product? A hint for that spark could be "polishing up the iconic products that have been cherished over time even more!" Simply put, that's where I think the focus should be, and a quicker solution would be adjusting the product prices. Of course, this has to be balanced with the brand image... On special occasions, KFC, the grade-up that matches that special day is a must. ...This is just an outsider barking without knowing the inside story (laughs). Sorry for the drunken review (laughs).

It had been about a year since I last had KFC, so the Original Chicken tasted exceptionally good this time. It's nice to have it once in a while.

I visited a popular fried chicken chain store on the first floor of Aeon Mall Sapporo Hassamu store in Nishi Ward, Sapporo. According to the Kentucky website, they have a special menu called Crushers, and there are 9 stores in Hokkaido. It had been almost 20 years since I last visited a Kentucky store. I found out about the Crushers through a review by another user, so I decided to try it out. On that day, there was a festival at Hoshino Shrine in Otaru, and Star was also participating, so I didn't want to miss it. I used the Donichika pass to get to Hassamu Station from Shin-Sapporo and planned to take the JR bus, but I missed it by 5 minutes. So, I changed my plans and walked from the subway station to JR Hassamu Station. On the way, I stopped by Aeon Hassamu for a late breakfast. I ordered the Crushers because I'm not a fan of fried chicken. I tried the Peach Apricot Tart for 340 yen, which was a new flavor. The Crushers drink was sweet and thick, with a wide straw that made it easy to drink. It felt like drinking peach juice with small pieces of cookies in it, giving a crunchy texture. I arrived at JR Hassamu Station while drinking and headed to Hoshimi Station to visit Star.

"Kentucky Fried Chicken, a place you crave once in a while." I was humming a tune I heard somewhere, and someone said it was from a KFC commercial. So, I decided to satisfy my meat cravings and ordered some takeout. This time, I got the "Something Box" and two pieces of Flavored Chicken Box. The Something Box contained Original Chicken (4 pieces), Coleslaw Salad, and a large Potato. It's a satisfying meal for one person. The Flavored Chicken didn't have the crispy, savory smell I was expecting, and the taste was a bit bland. I might prefer the Original Chicken. The potatoes were more mushy than fluffy, with a subtle salty flavor. I wished for some salt or ketchup. The Coleslaw Salad was a nice palate cleanser between bites of chicken. When I chilled it, it tasted quite fresh. Surprisingly, the salad was a necessary addition to the meal. Thanks for the meal. Chicken is good, but salad is important too!

There is no KFC store around Hassamu-Miyanosawa area, so I often use this one. It is located on the first floor (while the food court is on the third floor), which is very convenient when you want to buy something after shopping. The seating area is not very large, but it is rare to not find a seat. The staff's customer service and cleanliness are well maintained, making it a pleasant place to dine. The menu is the same as other stores. There is no particular difference in quality compared to other stores. I will continue to use this store regularly.
