In the middle of Tanukikoji Street, the big signboard has been removed. We climbed the stairs to the second floor where there was only one other customer, the owner of the izakaya we used to visit every week when we were in Kitami. We started with a highball and they had all flavors of Umaibo (a puffed corn snack) available for all-you-can-eat. Even though we had never tried it before, the three of us had a great time. Now, let's head to the fourth place with the izakaya owner. The owner of the fourth place is apparently a senior to the owner of the third place, so we made a reservation. Alright, let's go to the fourth place with just the two of us.

I moved from Kitami to Sapporo and it's been hard to visit. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Tanukikoji in Kitami. The Tanukikoji sign is gone now. They are open from 8pm until the last customer leaves in the morning. If you don't leave by noon, it's a one-man show with the owner. They have all flavors of Umaibo and it's all you can eat. The owner is in a band and has band practice occasionally, so the restaurant is open from 8pm every day. It gets busier as the night goes on, so it's recommended to go early.
