Had lunch at Patisserie Fujiya in Honmachi. This place serves lunch during the day and turns into a bar at night. It is a sister store of Maison Fujiya, and as the name suggests, they have a wide variety of cakes for sale, and recently started serving lunch. The spiced lamb stew was seasoned in a unique way that I don't usually encounter, so it was refreshing. The pasta was okay, but I wish there were more options for noodles, like spaghetti.

[ Sweets +0.3 ] From April 19th to 25th, I visited the spring Hokkaido food fair at Isetan Shinjuku and purchased the Gâteau Fromage for 1,890 yen. This cheesecake was delicious. When you put it on your tongue, the center part melts away smoothly. The outer part is crispy, and overall it is creamy with a rich flavor. Adding a little fleur de sel enhances the sweetness and taste.

I went to a restaurant that used to work under Chef Fujitani in the spring of 2023, which was open for a limited time for lunch. The interior of the restaurant was lovely, spacious, and had a casual atmosphere where I could enjoy French cuisine! The main dish of the day, chicken confit, was delicious, and I was very satisfied with a full stomach. The interior of the shop is luxurious and comfortable. The restroom is very spacious and clean! The cakes are rich and delicious. I like to come here when I have time before a meeting or when I want to relax and have tea. Every seat is lovely, so it's hard to decide where to sit haha. I also want to try the bar time!

Located in Nijyu-kken-zaka, a branch of Grand Maison Fujiya. They offer regular lunches, but primarily they are a patisserie, as the name suggests. The eat-in space is stylish, with a bar counter, tables, and couple seats. In the evening, they also offer wine and other alcohol to pair with their cakes. I ordered the cake set for 1,000 yen, and although the cakes were small, they were satisfying with a rich chestnut flavor. Personally, I didn't quite like the taste of the coffee, but the location and atmosphere are great, so I recommend dining in. Thank you for the meal.

I went to eat a white peach parfait. The price was reasonable at 1450 yen for a peach parfait. It was noted to contain alcohol, but I didn't really taste it. The lunch menu seems to have expanded, so I look forward to visiting again. Next time, I might come for dinner. I bought canelé as a souvenir. The outside is crispy and the inside is soft. The taste is excellent.

This was my first visit to a sweets and bar-like shop that opened along Gyokei Street in Honmachi. The interior is spacious and well-maintained, with a waiting area. I tried a cake made with Niagara wine. They also have a wide selection of whiskies, so I am interested in coming back at night as well.

Maison Fujiya opened a patisserie in June. It seems like they have renovated the place quite luxuriously where the old Goto Ken used to be. You can take out pastries or enjoy them inside with a dessert dish. They used to offer affordable lunches on the first floor of Maison Fujiya, but it seems like that has been replaced by this new establishment. They also have a lunch menu available.

You can also order dessert during late-night bar time. It's not common to find a place where you can buy cake at such a late hour.

The Mont Blanc in particular was delicious. I would like to try eating a larger size, like about four of them.

The atmosphere was nice, the cake was delicate and delicious, and the bear was cute.

The Saint-Honoré Parfait and Fondant Chocolat were both delicious, but personally, I thought the Saint-Honoré Parfait was really amazing! The caramel ice cream, chocolate, and baked goods were all exquisite in the parfait, with no wasted elements (like meringue or flakes, haha)! The Fondant Chocolat was tasty too, but a bit difficult to eat (lol). Also, the orange ice cream was a big hit with my partner, but I preferred the caramel ice cream in the parfait! Being able to drink wine from Hokkaido in such an elegant setting from lunchtime was the perfect atmosphere!
