On this day, there was a small gathering. A meeting and a rally for the golf "Scratch Meeting" scheduled for the next day. The Scratch Meeting... it's terrifying. There are no handicaps, so your score is as it is. It's like the same system as the pros (;^_^A). It's difficult to get into the exclusive restaurant in Tenma, even if you casually drop by. Reservations are a must for this place. And depending on the day, even making a reservation the day before can be tough (;^_^A). This hidden gem in Asahikawa! This restaurant on the 4th floor of a building, you need to know someone to be able to go there. The menu isn't particularly extensive for an izakaya, but it's good enough. Every morning, fresh seafood from Tenma is delivered, so they have especially delicious seafood here in Asahikawa. I've been taken here a few times, and it's truly impressive. I want to drink sake... I really do. But I have to resist because of the Scratch Meeting early the next morning. It's quite a serious competition. A lot is at stake for a man's honor. If you lose even by one stroke, it's all over. Playing with that kind of tension can also help you improve. First dish: It's been a while since I had alcohol. I had a beer. The appetizer was whelk. Delicious! I love shellfish, so this kind of appetizer is very welcome. So, how many servings is this? It's extravagantly luxurious, right!! A sashimi platter that looks like it could serve 4 to 5 people. The correct answer is that it's for 2 people. It costs 3500 yen per person, and you can't order additional servings. You have to specify how many people you want it for, but if you don't know, you might end up ordering for the number of people... Well, the staff will let you know in that case. Botan shrimp, whelk, scallop, tuna red meat, crab, squid, squid fin, and more... There's also fatty tuna hidden in there. It's just overflowing with fish. The fatty tuna is also piled on. It's really hard to tell how much one serving is. The chef just piles on the good fish of the day. The fish is just spilling over from the plate. Grilled Atka mackerel for 1500 yen. Definitely Atka mackerel. It's a type of mackerel you don't often find outside Hokkaido. Outside Hokkaido, it's mostly striped mackerel, but the taste is completely different when you eat real Atka mackerel. At this size and this price... it's incredibly cheap. If I were in Tokyo, I would definitely pay more than double, but I would definitely pay over 2000 yen. Grilled squid for 1200 yen. The squid is grilled... and it's good. It's just grilled over charcoal, but the more you chew, the more sweetness comes out. It's also delicious with the miso paste that comes with it. The charred parts have a nice aroma. Pork skewers, 3 for 500 yen. Since there were 4 of us that day, we got four. They are also accommodating in this regard. The pork also has a sweetness to it, and it tastes great. Besides fish, everything else is also well-prepared. Tsukune (chicken meatballs), 3 for 500 yen. The tsukune is definitely made with a sauce that's been added to and added to. It has a slightly bitter taste that adults would appreciate. The tsukune itself is soft and easy to crumble. It would probably be delicious to eat it on rice, but I want to save room for something else. Namako (sea cucumber) vinegar for 1000 yen. I don't usually eat sea cucumber... I rarely eat it unless I have the opportunity. So, I tried it. It has a crunchy texture. This was probably my umpteenth sea cucumber in my life... but it's delicious. I feel like having a little sake now. Tenma Donburi for 1400 yen. This is the mini size. The finishing touch at Tenma is either this Tenma Donburi or the Ikura Donburi. If you don't mind sea urchin, this Tenma Donburi with sea urchin on top of the salmon roe. The rice is just plain white rice, but it's so delicious. It already has flavor, so it's up to you whether to add soy sauce or not. I'm perfectly satisfied with the soy sauce flavor of the salmon roe. The next day, the ones who will be fighting. Mr. Natsuko Yamamoto, vice president of Yamamoto Building, and his son, Shintaro. And from Sapporo, joining in is Mr. Isshin Matsuda, a personality from the Sinsen Radio Station. Mr. Matsuda, there were so many people in the background that I couldn't take a photo, so I'll upload a photo from the golf course where the battle will take place the next day. I'll share the battle scenes at a later date. If someone visits Asahikawa and you take them to this place, they will definitely be delighted. Thank you for the meal. ⇒◇
