I finally had the chance to visit this place that opened on October 14th. From the name, I thought it might be a place that fries something, but it's actually called "Tako Karatto". Located at 3-3-7 Toyooka, Asahikawa City, you can find the map here https://goo.gl/maps/iMi5ALSZzmBNufkA7. They are open from 11:00 am, closed on Sundays. They have parking and offer takeout. Please contact the store for the current opening hours, closures, and takeout options. It's located next to "Koyanagi Store" in Super House. The staff is friendly and efficient. I ordered takoyaki and fried chicken, and the fried chicken took about 5 minutes, so they asked me to wait in the car. The "Karatto" in Tako Karatto actually refers to the fried chicken. The "Bozu" option for takoyaki means no sauce or toppings. The fried chicken was crispy and had a rich flavor, while the takoyaki was creamy and flavorful, with a unique taste. Overall, it was an interesting and enjoyable experience.

While driving in Asahikawa city, I stumbled upon a prefab with "karaage" and "takoyaki" written on it. I was immediately drawn in. I checked the menu and saw that the takoyaki came in sauce, salt, and "bouzu" flavors. I wonder what "bouzu" is. For karaage, they had breast and thigh options. I decided to order 6 salt takoyaki and a mix of thigh and breast karaage. I received them fresh and hot. The takoyaki was amazing - crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside. It was a pleasant surprise among the many overly soft takoyaki out there. The karaage was also delicious - light soy sauce flavor, incredibly tender and juicy! The prices were very reasonable, the staff was friendly, and I will definitely be returning.

I visited "Tako Karatto" which opened on October 14, 2020 at 4-3-7 Toyooka 7-jo, Asahikawa City. It's a small place with a black-painted prefabricated building, specializing in takoyaki and karaage. The menu includes 6 pieces of takoyaki for 400 yen, 8 pieces for 500 yen, and various options for karaage. I tried the takoyaki with sauce, and they even gave me an extra one, so I got 7 in total. It was soft, flavorful, and delicious. I'm curious to try the karaage next time. Overall, it was a satisfying experience.

The chicken nuggets were delicious. They were not dry at all and very juicy! The flavor was just right, not too strong or too weak, just how I like it. The staff were also very friendly. I walked there and had to wait inside, which was very hot in the summer. But if you go by car, they will bring the food to your car!

Plenty of mentaiko (*^^*) This dish was loaded with mentaiko! It was so generous! It was delicious♪ I happened to visit near closing time, so they offered a discount on fried food! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming.

"Takokara-tto" is a place I visited alone in Asahikawa. When choosing Asahikawa, I always want to rely on quantity and when I want to eat delicious ramen. I had delicious ramen here. I didn't find as many takoyaki as I thought, but the last place I visited was "Takokara-tto," located next to Koyanagi Store. There were two women and one man who seemed familiar. The women were very friendly. I ordered five pieces of chicken momo. I had to wait about 5 minutes for it to be ready. They offered to bring it to my car, but I wanted to check out other stores first. I tried one piece immediately, and it was delicious. The meat itself was average, and the seasoning was nothing special. Overall, it was a tasty dish, especially when paired with beer.

I visited "Takokaratto," which opened in December last year in Asahikawa City for the first time. The store is located in a black super house (prefabricated) next to "Koyanagi Store" in Toyooka. The menu consists of "Otabei-style takoyaki" and "Echizen-ya supervised delicious fried chicken." You can choose from sauce, salt, or bonito flavor for the takoyaki, which comes in 6 or 8 pieces. The fried chicken can be either thigh or breast, with options for 5 or 10 pieces. Please refer to the posted menu photos for prices. After some hesitation, I ordered "Takoyaki (salt, 6 pieces) 400 yen" and "Delicious fried chicken (breast, 5 pieces) 300 yen." They mentioned it would take 4-5 minutes to fry the chicken, so they brought it to my car once it was ready. The service was polite and very pleasant. I wanted to eat them right away, so I enjoyed them in the car. The takoyaki had a slightly crispy exterior and a hot and creamy interior with a delicious broth flavor. The fried chicken was tender, juicy, and very tasty. I would like to buy some to take home as a snack with beer next time. Overall, this place is affordable and delicious, so I highly recommend it.

I almost forgot to write this review... Finally found some time to work on my food log. I usually make draft notes beforehand, but this time I didn't! But it's okay, I remember most of it. This place is called "Koyanagi," right next to Paradise. It's a small, cute little shop that looks like a tiny castle. The menu is as shown in the picture. I wanted to try a bit of everything, so I placed an order and went to pick it up in the evening. The staff at the shop were very nice and friendly. I warmed up the food nicely at home and enjoyed it. The seasoning was just right, and even the chicken breast was tasty. The takoyaki was okay, nothing special. Thank you for the meal!
