Oh man, trying to explain this is tough... I suggested going to Tsuruga and of course she didn't say no, but we went after work so we arrived at 7pm and went straight to the buffet. Is this normal? Even though it's Tsuruga, it felt kind of disappointing, making me think it must be tough for them. I didn't show any sign of disappointment to my wife who had arranged this for us. I tend to show my feelings through my attitude, so I went to take a bath. I found out that the baths switch between men and women at 10pm, so we both had to go in. It was like, "Oh, this is how it is." After getting out, I suggested going to the bar. The atmosphere was nice, as expected from Tsuruga. Maybe if the outside lights were a bit brighter, it would be even better. There were two women serving us, very friendly as expected. I had whiskey and my wife had a cocktail, which was very expensive. I asked about the difference between two single malts on the rocks, but it was hard to explain. I could tell one was smokier, but my wife said she expected more. It felt like we were paying for the atmosphere with money. There were mostly groups of women. My cocktail had a hint of drugs, but it was delicious. My wife didn't seem to notice that. She just enjoyed the taste. I didn't notice the details, she's a woman after all.

I went to see a flyer posted in the hotel elevator. There seems to be live music playing, looking forward to it! I ordered a limited-time yuzu cocktail. It's refreshing with a hint of mint. The flavor is a bit strong, but it's delicious. Since there were no customers, I had the place to myself! There is also a bonfire, so you can relax while gazing at the fire. It's quite nice! The space is spacious and cozy. Unfortunately, live music is not available on Tuesdays, which is a shame! Thank you for the meal!

The atmosphere was nice and the service was polite to us travelers. After red wine, I had a Bowmore on the rocks, but the ice wasn't the usual smooth round shape... When I asked, they said they hand-carve it into a round shape! Next, I had Octomore 07.1 for a nightcap. It was a happy moment.
