After the lull in the pandemic, new restaurant openings seem to be accelerating lately. It feels like every time you go out, a new place is opening up, which can be a bit overwhelming. However, with the economy picking up, the increase in dining options is great news for food bloggers like myself. Recently, "Tomiooka Cleaning" near Kuwazon Station has reopened with a new concept. It used to be a store selling second-hand clothes and laundry goods, but now it has been transformed into a coin laundry, cafe, and laundry goods store. I stopped by after having a few drinks and ordered a soft serve ice cream. It was a hot day, so the ice cream melted quickly, but it was smooth and creamy with a strong milk flavor. The store has a few seats for customers to enjoy their treats. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I look forward to visiting again in the future.

Visited on the opening day♪ The cleaning and miscellaneous goods shop has been renovated and transformed into a coin laundry and café. Of course, Totolon is all about using the café corner! The shop's name uses "w/" which means "with" in English. So, the shop's name is Tomioka Cleaning with Café and Re. When you enter the coin laundry entrance, you will find the café and miscellaneous goods corner on the left. In this café, they serve soft-serve ice cream and other drinks like coffee. I ordered the Soft Serve Ice Cream Waffle Cone Cup Type for 520 yen with the recommended Bourbon Maple topping for 100 yen. The waffle cone cup was a first for me, and the soft-serve ice cream had honey in it, giving it a light sweetness with a rich milk flavor. Adding the Bourbon Maple topping doubled the sweetness and richness. Afterwards, I also ordered a hot coffee for 180 yen, which was strong and bitter, so I added some milk. They also sell lovely small items for laundry and tea containers, so if you like such miscellaneous goods, you might want to check them out too!
