In January 2020, I visited a building in Minami Sato 7-chome in Shiroishi Ward. In the basement, there was a snack bar I used to frequent, and on the ground floor, there was a pub called "Mamaya" that I often visit, and at the back of that was the restaurant I will introduce today, "Kushikurabu TAKE・TAKE". I had heard of this place before but the exterior seemed a bit intimidating for first-time visitors, so I had always passed by. However, after seeing a good review from a friend, I decided to give it a try. I arrived right at the opening time of 6 pm. The interior had a counter with about 6 seats and a raised area with two small tables for 4 people each. It seemed like a lot for the owner to handle alone. The menu mainly focused on skewers, but there were also other options. I was a bit worried if the owner could handle it all by himself. Since I was planning to go to "Mamaya" afterwards, I ordered some light dishes: Hokkaido pork skewer (160 yen), gizzard (130 yen), chicken cartilage (130 yen), quail bacon (180 yen), and 2 red sausages (320 yen), all seasoned with salt. I also had shochu on the rocks: Isami (600 yen) and Mura (800 yen). While sipping on Isami, I snacked on the curry-flavored potato salad appetizer (200 yen) and saw a familiar face on the TV, the owner of a nearby diner. The yakitori soon arrived - the Hokkaido pork skewer was decent for its price, juicy and slightly salty. The gizzard was also a good size for the price, and the cartilage was from chicken. The quail bacon was nothing special, similar to what you would find elsewhere. The red sausages were different from what I expected but still had a rich flavor, especially when dipped in mayo. The shochu selection included Mura and Maou, but I chose Mura at 800 yen, as Maou was 900 yen. It's hard to find Moriizou at a reasonable price, as it usually costs over 1,000 yen. I have managed to get 8 bottles through a phone lottery in the past, but for now, I prefer Maou in the 3M selection. Overall, it was a pleasant experience with the friendly owner, so I would definitely consider revisiting in the future!

I have visited this place several times but this is my first review. Located near Minamigo 7-chome station in the same building as Mamaya. It's a popular yakitori restaurant where it's hard to get in without a reservation, especially for solo diners. This time, I went with a colleague who can eat a lot, so we decided to try a variety of dishes. The other customers were all regulars, probably because of the friendly master. Of course, yakitori is the main attraction, but they also offer sashimi and other appetizers. Personally, I really liked the tsukune with large chunks of cartilage in it. The sauce is also very delicious. I had several helpings of the sauce tsukune this time as well. The chicken liver with wasabi is also recommended! They have a decent selection of various types of sake as well.

Welcome.---------- 2017.04 ----------Located along Nango Street, on the first floor of a building with various dining options towards the back. The interior is well-maintained and spacious, with a large counter and two raised seating areas. The friendly and calm master, who runs the place alone, creates an atmosphere where customers gather to quietly enjoy the background music playing on the TV. The menu offers a variety of options, and the "leave it to the master" choice is particularly exciting and enjoyable. Starting with the Kinpi Renkon with dried bonito flakes, the crispy texture and sweet-salty flavor make it a must-try. The Yakitori is crispy and flavorful, perfect for pairing with drinks. The Butashio is another highlight, with a crunchy texture and a balance of sweetness and saltiness that complements the drinks well. The Tsukune with a fluffy texture and strong chicken flavor, paired with a thick sweet sauce with a peppery kick, is also delicious. Each item can be ordered individually, which is convenient. The round Jingisukan, served with a bonus of Bell's sauce, brings back nostalgic flavors. When mixed with the sauce, the lamb becomes even more delicious. To finish off, the "white rice" can be enjoyed with the remaining soup as a refreshing end to the meal. By 8 PM, the place is packed with familiar faces and friends bidding farewell to each other. The master remains humble and grateful until the end. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Good evening, this is Goriemon. Tonight, I visited TAKETAKE. The appetizer was egg omelette with mentaiko. I ordered the round Genghis Khan dish with cabbage added, and it was delicious. Next, I tried the chicken wasabi! It had a perfect balance of spice with the wasabi leaf. Highly recommend trying it! I also ordered the chorizo and grilled red sausage. The chorizo was spicier than expected, perfect with beer. The red sausage had a nostalgic taste. I tried it with mayonnaise, which was amazing. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the friendly master makes it enjoyable for solo diners. Delicious food and drinks, thank you for the meal.
