Before I knew it, it had become a new restaurant...! It used to be Ezobalbanban, but now it's a seafood izakaya... I'm curious! So, for my birthday celebration, my family and I decided to try it out. We used a coupon for a 3000 yen all-you-can-drink course with a free birthday cake! The interior of the restaurant has booth seating, and when you close the door, it becomes like a private room, so you don't have to worry about other people looking at you. However, the ceiling is open, so it can get quite noisy (everyone was having a good time). We visited on a weekday at 8:30 pm, and there were still some empty seats available. We started with a toast with beer! The appetizers were seasoned quail eggs and cream cheese with salted fish eggs, which were quite salty, so we thought they would go well with sake. Then came the sashimi platter... The handwritten plate added a nice homemade touch. They had seasonal selections like live hokke, soy, natural sea bream, which was a unique lineup. It was delicious, but as a lover of sashimi, I felt a bit unsatisfied. We called the server to place our order, and they suggested using the touch panel for faster service, which we finally noticed. Everyone in my family has different alcohol preferences, but the drink menu here is quite good quality. My father enjoyed ordering sake and shochu, trying out various brands. Especially the Koshino Kanbai was delicious. As a wine lover, I tried sangria, red, white, Kitty, and Otokomae sparkling, all of which were labeled with the wine brand, which was great. The other courses included a salad with crunchy vegetables, whole roasted hokke, roast beef, and rice cooked with various ingredients. We also ordered additional items like meat sushi (salmon roe), cucumber pickles, and salmon sashimi. The meal ended with a beautifully presented cake plate. Overall, the food was satisfying, and the atmosphere and service were good. We would definitely consider coming back for a la carte options next time. Thank you for the meal!
