He took me to celebrate my birthday. Every dish was incredibly delicious, and the wide variety of drinks available for all-you-can-drink got me really excited. Of course, they had classics like beer, but they also had other types of beer. What really stood out was the extensive selection of whiskies. The sashimi and sushi were so delicious, it felt like I was in Hokkaido. I live in Tokyo, so I rarely visit Hokkaido, but I definitely want to come back when I visit Sapporo again.

"Sushi BAR" located in Minami 4-jo Nishi 6-chome, Susukino, Chuo-ku, Sapporo. As the name suggests, it's a bar where you can enjoy sushi and drinks. I wanted to have sushi as a final meal after visiting a couple of bars, and decided to try this place that I've been curious about. The interior is stylish. Looking at the menu, I noticed they also offer Western dishes, which sets them apart from regular sushi restaurants. I started with a "Sapporo Classic Draft Beer" (650 yen) and an appetizer of cucumber and kelp vinegar (400 yen). For my final meal, I ordered the "Nigiri Set B" (980 yen) and "Ume Kyu" (380 yen). The Nigiri Set B includes 6 pieces - tuna, sweet shrimp, salmon, squid, crab miso, and white fish, maybe amberjack? The nigiri pieces were small and perfect for snacking. The vinegar in the sushi rice was a bit strong, but it paired well with the alcohol. It had that "sushi from a bar" vibe, but it was surprisingly delicious. As I couldn't eat more, I finished with the refreshing "Ume Kyu" (laughs). For my second drink, I had a glass of red wine (605 yen). After that, I headed back to the hotel. Overall, it's a convenient and casual place to enjoy good food and drinks!

I was worried about the cost, but decided to check it out. It was a long weekend, but we were able to get in without a reservation. We opted for the regular drink option, which was 1,760 yen for 90 minutes. I had a couple of drinks and tried some sushi. The total bill came out to around 8,000 yen for two people. The sushi was surprisingly delicious and the prices were reasonable. We had a great time chatting and enjoying the food and drinks. After that, we even went for karaoke until 4 in the morning.

After the daruma party, we went to this place for the second round. We arrived right at 5:00 when they opened. We opted for the drink all you can option, choosing the cheaper one which was still quite enjoyable. They had sparkling wine and two types of beer - Heineken and Corona, so we ordered both. Despite being called a sushi bar, they had a variety of non-sushi dishes as well, including Italian options. We ordered salted gingko nuts, edamame with pickled shiso, and some sushi. The gingko nuts were hot and delicious, and the sushi was small but perfect for pairing with drinks. The rice and fish were both tasty. It was a luxurious and enjoyable time to have sushi with sparkling wine. It was my first visit, but I was satisfied with the experience. I might come back when I want a little sushi or some snacks. Whenever I went to Susono, I casually passed by a stylish sushi bar that caught my eye, so I decided to visit with my friends! Upon entering, I thought it had a vibe similar to a shot bar. Looking at the menu, it seemed like an Italian izakaya where you can have sushi as a finale. Or maybe it's a good place for the third stop since they're open until 3 am (laughs). Before the sushi, we ordered Margherita pizza, cheese pizza, and three types of potatoes. We also added the Hakodate specialty, Zari-ji. The pizza had a thin crust and was delicious! The cheese pizza with honey topping was nice. The potato fries were crispy and tasty with three different flavors. The Zari-ji was like deep-fried pork bowl. We also ordered Sushi Set A! It's a good size for the third stop. The toppings and vinegared rice were well-prepared. The spicy roll wasn't as spicy as a punishment, but the wasabi gave a nice kick and was delicious.

We visited this restaurant with a friend after enjoying a 5-hour all-you-can-drink session starting from lunch. The all-you-can-drink option is 1600 yen for 2 hours, which is very reasonable. They serve Italian and sushi, and it's one of our favorite places because of the affordable prices. We have been here a few times for our second round. The sushi sets are around 1000 yen and very satisfying! This day, we had A set twice and B set once. The sushi sets are delicious and cheap, so you can eat a lot. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, making it a convenient place to visit.

I finally visited a restaurant I had been wanting to try for a while. It's a rare place in Susukino where you can enjoy both Japanese cuisine/sushi and meat/Mediterranean dishes while also having a wide variety of drinks to compare. We started with a toast with Corona due to the pandemic. We had steamed clams, fried pork, tuna and avocado poke, Iberico ham, low-temperature cooked pork steak, and margherita. The drinks were flowing, from gin and tonic to whiskey, and the food and drinks were a mix. However, we didn't get to the sushi we wanted to try, which is a regret. I used this restaurant for the third party of a wedding reception. It's a valuable place that stays open until morning, so you can go for any party (*´д｀*)ﾊｧﾊｧ I arrived after the last train, haha. The place was quite crowded with couples and young people. There is a second party plan available, but there is also a drink-all-you-can coupon. 90 minutes extendable to 120 minutes. And guess what, they have Corona and Heineken in the all-you-can-drink menu! There's also draft beer available (ˊᗜˋ*) I've been to this place a few times, but I've never tried the sushi (haha). The menu mixes izakaya dishes and Italian cuisine. There are sashimi and snacks, as well as cheese and prosciutto. I've never had sushi here, but the sashimi I had before was delicious, so I'm sure the sushi is good too!! I'm not very hungry, so I'll just have some light snacks (*ˊᵕˋ* )〇 Iwashi (sardine) and cream cheese. With this, I can drink endlessly. It makes me want to drink sake. I kept looping the green highball (haha) 〇 Sakura Yukke. The sweet sauce is delicious! I want to eat it on rice. 〇 Steamed clams with sake. I love clams ( *´ 3 ` )♡ I could eat as many as I want. Sushi BAR is a place that has piqued my interest for a while. I entered the restaurant with the intention of eating sushi, but soon felt full and sleepy, realizing it was time to head home. In the year before the spread of COVID-19 in 2018, I used to go out for drinks until late at night occasionally, but now I find myself getting sleepy around 3 am if I stay out too late. After a year-end party, I also went for ramen as a final meal, and then headed to a third place I wanted to visit alone. However, I started feeling drowsy and decided to skip the idea of having a solid meal for breakfast. The appetizer at Sushi BAR was jellyfish with plum dressing, which had a nice sour taste that complemented the alcohol. I ordered a Sapporo Classic beer, which went well with the jellyfish dish, but it made me feel full. In the end, I spent 1,050 yen, feeling a bit like a cheap drinker. I ended up not being able to eat sushi even though I came to the restaurant for that purpose. I will definitely try the sushi next time! The seat I sat in was quite tilted, making me feel nauseous during the meal. The sushi I was looking forward to was mediocre. Both the rice and the fish were on the smaller side. I was hoping to find a place where I could easily enjoy delicious sushi, so my expectations were not met. I probably won't come back.
