Fourth stop in Kitami... I was drinking with Kanazuma, but she said "I have a mountain climb tomorrow..." and left. She's a decisive woman unlike me. I decided to stay in the city alone. I remembered "Nicomoya Medama" that caught my interest earlier, so I decided to go there. I hesitated a bit before opening the door, but if it weren't for Tabelog, I probably wouldn't have been able to open the door at all. Even if I wasn't drunk, being a food blogger made me open the door without hesitation. As soon as I opened the door, I saw stairs leading upstairs. I could hear the voices of a man and a woman as I climbed up. Inside, there were two women at the counter and a man inside the counter. The atmosphere inside the counter didn't seem appealing, but when I looked around, the overall atmosphere was very nice. The owner seemed like someone who would allow me to take photos if I asked, but I didn't ask. I sat at a table at first, but then moved to the counter as the owner suggested. The atmosphere was enjoyable with three people. The kitchen and counter were unimpressive, but the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice. However, smoking started at some point which made me uncomfortable. It seemed like Kitami has a lot of smokers. The owner and even the woman started smoking, so I decided to leave. It became a place where I didn't belong. Overall, it was a nice cafe, but the smoking made it difficult for me to stay. I would like to bring my wife here sometime, but the smoking situation was a deal-breaker. Thank you for the meal.

I had dishes like simmered beef tendons, whale bacon, grilled lotus root, and daikon radish in oden. I also enjoyed a tomato shochu highball. It seems they are open on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The food was worth the price. I felt that the restaurant had a good old Showa era vibe.
