It's a casual izakaya-style restaurant that also serves lunch. You can enjoy chatting with friends or sit at the counter alone. Sometimes the chef will offer you a sample dish if it's not busy. It's a good choice for when you don't want to go to a chain restaurant but also don't want a high-end place.

I felt like having a cold beer, so I decided to visit Yakumo, a place I had been curious about for a while. I ordered the evening set, which came with two small dishes and one snack - nori salted potato and classic turn end. They told me that the main dishes would take some time, but the small dishes and potato came out quickly. The small dishes were menma and simmered dish, and the menma was really delicious. The nori salted potato was moist and had plenty of seaweed on top, very tasty! Today is Yakumo's special day, where all alcohol is only 390 yen each! I'll definitely come back next time for a proper drinking session!

I went to a certain restaurant, but it was not open for business even though it was not a regular holiday. It was disappointing. So I went to a nearby restaurant and tried their menu, which includes two daily specials for each day from Monday to Friday for 650 yen (limited to 20 servings). They also offer: - Zangi set meal for 700 yen - Tonkatsu set meal for 750 yen - Stewed hamburger set meal for 820 yen - Cheese hamburger set meal for 820 yen - Miso cutlet bowl for 750 yen - Today's fish set meal for 650 yen - Seafood curry for 750 yen - Katsu curry for 770 yen - Hamburger curry for 870 yen - Spaghetti cutlet for 800 yen - Cheese meat for 800 yen - Beef and toro bowl for 900 yen. They offer free rice refills and a large portion of rice. I ordered the spaghetti cutlet. It came with a small salad. The meat sauce had plenty of ground meat and onions, giving it a strong sour taste. The spaghetti was very thin, similar to angel hair pasta, and not sautéed. Since it was not sautéed, the meat sauce didn't stick well. The hot plate kept the food warm. The cutlet was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. (2021.02)

I happened to pass by around 7 pm on a regular day. Oh... should we stop by? Let's attack after a long time! Today, the counter is lively and crowded. I ordered a beer, edamame, and zangi, the classic dishes of izakaya, for a solo drinking start! The complimentary dish is a gentle simmered hijiki. A classic glass of beer. You can also choose Ebisu beer. The edamame... is quite a large portion. From here, it's a serious battle with the edamame. The hot zangi comes in a set of four. It's not like "careful zangi," but more like "how's the taste with a rich flavor!" Eating it makes you feel happy. The staff remembers you. They recall what you said before and engage in various conversations with you. But when you want to drink alone, you may hesitate about what to do. They are very friendly and the food is delicious, so it might be better to come with others. I feel like it's a place to visit when you want to drink with someone.

A place you'll want to visit again. Even when a large group suddenly shows up, they handle it well, and all my friends agree that "it was great there." It seems to have good accessibility, but the turnover of restaurants is high, giving off a somewhat dark impression. The interior has raised seating areas, with an interesting mix of tables and chairs. The food is served at a good pace, without any delays, and drinks are brought quickly as well, making it stress-free to use, which is a plus. I forgot to take photos, but I really liked the salt-flavored rolled omelette here. It's common for places to serve sweet rolled omelettes, but this one had a savory flavor that was really delicious. The prices are surprisingly cheap, to the point where you might ask, "Are these correct?" It's a place that can be summed up in one word... a place you'll want to visit again. It's nice that you can enjoy a beer like Amber Ebisu here.

My reviewer had visited here. I remembered it as I passed by. So, let's attack! You can order the slightly tipsy set anytime during business hours. It's great. It's past 6:30 pm on a weekday, but it still feels open. I ordered the 1,500 yen set and started with a beer at the corner of the counter. The two appetizers have a gentle seasoning. It's a stew, but it seems to be good for your health. You can choose sashimi or zangi, but today I'll go with sashimi. Three types of sashimi are beautifully arranged. The portion is not large, so those who are not big eaters might find it satisfying. The beer is not in a mug, but it seems handy for when you shouldn't drink too much. The staff talked to me with care, and I had a pleasant time. Both the food and the staff have a kind and gentle vibe. When you want to be surrounded by kindness, come here while listening to Yuming. That's the feeling I get.

After celebrating a friend's birthday with steak at "Ogari," we headed to this place located in the basement of a building directly connected to Exit 5 of the Subway Bus Center Station. It was a Friday night, just past 8 PM, and there were four of us girls visiting. There were four groups of customers already there and one group came in after us. We were able to choose our favorite seats, so we opted for a table in a sunken area where we could take off our shoes and relax. It felt like we were having a drink at home. We ordered four "evening drink sets," which included 2 drinks each, 2 small dishes, and either fried chicken or a sashimi platter for 1500 yen. Since there were four of us, we asked for 2 fried chicken and 2 sashimi dishes. The "tipsy set" includes 3 drinks, 2 small dishes, fried chicken, and a sashimi platter for 1980 yen, which is a great deal if you like those items. We chose amber Ebisu beer for our drinks. Cheers! The beer had a taste similar to craft beer, which was a nice change. The small dishes included simmered root vegetables and tofu with minced greens. The sashimi platter had shrimp, salmon, and tuna. The fried chicken had a crispy coating. In between our non-stop chatting, we had barley shochu with water for our second round of drinks. We stayed for over 2 hours and paid 1500 yen each. This place is great for when you just want to chat with your friends and have a relaxed time.

I finish work early on Saturdays and head to the city center around 4 pm. I found a cozy little place called "Shokusai Chuubou Yakumo" connected to bus center exit 5. It's a quiet office area on Saturdays, so the place was not crowded. The restaurant has about 10 counter seats, 3 tables, and even a raised seating area. The staff, who seemed to be the owner, was sitting at the counter watching TV. I ordered the "Evening Set @1,500" which includes 2 drinks, sashimi or zangi, and 2 small dishes. I chose sashimi with red tuna, sweet shrimp, and salmon, and a small dish of duck with dried daikon radish. I had a beer for the first drink and sake for the second, enjoying small bites and conversation with the owner, Mr. Ikeda. It was a surprisingly fun time for such an early hour. The cost performance of the evening set was excellent, and the flavors were top-notch. But more than that, I want to commend Mr. Ikeda for his friendly and engaging personality. It's a place where you feel like dropping by from time to time. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I'm happy that the all-you-can-drink menu includes Sapporo, Ebisu, and sake. I ordered mapo tofu, chicken meatballs, and fried horse mackerel! The mapo tofu had a Taiwanese touch and was delicious! I will definitely come back.

After visiting Nanafuku, my husband and I decided to try another place since it didn't seem like our night was ending anytime soon. We wandered around looking for a place that offered a good evening drink set, not really knowing where we were going. We walked quite a bit, maybe even got a little lost, including when we were at Nanafuku. Finally, we arrived at Yakumo after using the navigation system. The owner welcomed us and led us to a cool spot. We ordered the "slightly tipsy set," which was a great deal at 1980 yen. It came with 3 beers, sashimi, zangi, and two small side dishes. As we chatted, the food was served efficiently. The side dishes were pickled daikon radish and roast beef. The sashimi included shrimp, salmon, and tuna, while the zangi had four large pieces. Just this set alone was satisfying enough. The female staff was friendly and easy to talk to, and the banter with the owner was enjoyable. I would definitely want to visit again if I am in the area.

After watching a movie at Sapporo Factory, I stopped by here, which I had been curious about for a while. I ordered the 'Evening Set 1500 yen' which includes 2 small dishes (burdock salad, Chinese-style glass noodles), sashimi or fried chicken, and 2 drinks (beer and shochu highball). I chose sashimi, which consisted of octopus, tuna, and salmon, all fresh but in small portions. It may not compare to recent good deals on evening sets, but the taste is good. The owner and female staff were friendly and the atmosphere was great. I would like to visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal.

On Friday, the daily special was supposed to be beef steak, but there was a sign saying it was tonkatsu instead. The restaurant was almost full, with only one table left in the smoking section. Two people sat at the counter and ordered the daily special. Despite the wait, the tonkatsu arrived in 15 minutes. It was a thick cut and a good size, but a bit over-fried and tough. However, both colleagues finished it in 15 minutes. With some sweet store-bought sauce and mustard on top, the 650 yen set meal was satisfying. They also ordered coffee as they had time before their next appointment. Despite discussing work, they both shared the desire for a delicious tonkatsu.

Girls' night out course. The lovely masters prepared sashimi and a personal pizza for me since I was running late, and they even fulfilled my request for coffee. The Wagyu meat pie was amazing, with a crispy crust, juicy meat, and delicious demi-glace sauce. The dessert was a surprise with a warm sauce that had condensed milk added to it. It was delicious when combined with the acidity of the apricot underneath. We had a relaxing time chatting and enjoying ourselves. I want to try the steak next time! The pies they sell at the entrance also made great souvenirs. I'll definitely be going back!

Friday at 6:00 PM. Underground 2nd floor of the subway bus center station, exit 5. As I was about to climb the stairs, I saw a sign calling me to stop. Evening drink set for 1500 yen (tax included) - 2 drinks, zangi or sashimi, and 2 small dishes. The door was made of glass, so you could peek inside a bit. I saw one customer at the counter, making it easy to enter. When I opened the door and entered, I was asked, "Are you a group?" even though I was alone. I must have looked like part of a group! There were two groups having a girls' night out in the back. I ordered the evening drink set and sat at the end of the counter. The seating at the counter was comfortable. Some people stay here until their bus arrives, getting a little tipsy. I ordered a Sapporo Classic beer and sashimi - scallops, tuna, and salmon. The small dishes were macaroni salad and Chinese glass noodles. Everything was delicious. The restaurant is run by two elderly men who occasionally engage in conversation and take care of you, making it easy to drink alone. I stayed for 45 minutes. Now, off to the Factory meetup! Thank you for the meal! (^^)b

Arriving late for lunch, I got off the subway while imagining the taste of curry spaghetti. I noticed a poster at the exit 5, connected to Marunaka in front of the station. "Yakumo," it said. It reminded me of the times I used to stay at the hotel nearby, a long time ago. It was my first visit at 1:40 PM, with 3 customers already seated at the counter. I asked about the menu, but I was confused. "What is Yakumo beef rice?" "It's a beef bowl." "And what about Hokkaido pork rice?" "It's a pork bowl." "Are they both simmered like sukiyaki?" "No, they're not." I ordered the Yakumo beef rice with a topping of a warm egg. It arrived quickly, just like Yoshinoya. The miso soup was good, making me excited. How is the meat... Oh, cracking open the warm egg, yes, the egg is delicious. I feel like this meat wouldn't work for a beef bowl. Maybe it's just me. Their specialty is steak, directly from the ranch at the Hokkaido product exhibition they often participate in. I'll have to try that next time. The roast beef looks really appetizing. During the opening promotion, the lunch is discounted by 300 yen, making it 550 yen. I finished the miso soup, hijiki, and pickles neatly. I left some rice in the bowl, the beef from the local ○ brand is a hundred times better. I really hope they do well, I love Yakumo town!

Welcome.---------- February 2016 ----------A pub that focuses on products from the southern part of Hokkaido, located directly connected to exit 5 of the subway "Bus Center Mae" station B2. The president, who is calm and gentle, leads the staff, including the chef and the hall staff, all of whom show smiles and politeness. The high chairs at the counter are adjustable in height, and the back can be transformed into tables. Personally, I liked the sunken kotatsu. For lunch, they serve dishes made with Yakkumo beef and seafood as a base, and at night, they offer dishes with ingredients from the southern part of Hokkaido and typical pub fare. The food was well-prepared, but not exceptional. The kitchen is located on the opposite side, so the serving staff have to take a detour to bring the dishes out. I ordered the Yakkumo beef rice bowl given to me by the president. The warm egg cracked open nicely, and the meat was tender and flavorful. The dish was not heavily seasoned, allowing the flavor of the meat to shine. The portion size was a bit small. The rice was a bit sticky and overcooked, which was disappointing. The miso soup with seaweed had a strong miso flavor, which might be too much for older customers. The small side dish of simmered hijiki was sweet. Overall, it was a satisfying meal, but if it were at regular prices, I might hesitate to return. The prices at night were surprisingly reasonable. It's a good place that you don't come across often in this area, so I think it's worth a visit. Thank you for the meal.
