I went to Izakaya Yurari! This place is located in the eastern part, next to an old hot spring. We visited on a weekday around 8 pm, a group of 4. Today, we have a new person joining us, a big fan of a person named Kobayashi Takashi. Cheers with beer, oolong tea, and Calpis! The beer is really good! We ordered sashimi platter, oil fish and enoki mushrooms from Kushiro, spicy mapo eggplant from Tokachi, new potato salad, salt chicken skewers, salt pork skewers, grilled sausages, french fries, chicken tempura, artisan's rolled omelette, and assorted pickles. The dishes were all delicious, especially the sashimi and grilled items. The highlight was the artisan's rolled omelette made with 10 eggs, it was huge and very sweet. Great for egg lovers! This izakaya is cozy and welcoming, with many regular customers. Thank you Izakaya Yurari for the wonderful meal!

I think there is no other izakaya as delicious as this one around here! The home-cooked flavors are enjoyable for both children and adults, with a wide variety of dishes that change with the seasons every few weeks, ranging from Japanese to Western and Chinese cuisine, all of which are top-notch delicious! The owner is also a really nice person, and I am now a regular customer at Yurari, haha. The fixed menu items are also all delicious, with dishes like fried chicken, extra-large dashimaki tamago, and skewers being so delicious that I order them every time! If you come to Obihiro, I definitely recommend visiting this restaurant. ✨

This is lunch during a business trip to Obihiro. With work starting around 6 am, lunch feels more like breakfast. The restaurant was recommended by a reviewer named "Captain Haru" for its high-value izakaya lunch. The menu is written on a blackboard at the entrance, offering tempura, nikujaga, salad, side dish, rice, and miso soup for 600 yen. The tempura includes shrimp, pumpkin, eggplant, and leafy greens, all crispy and delicious. The nikujaga is more like a side dish for drinking, but it goes well with rice too. The side dish consists of natto and marinated tuna, an interesting combination. The miso soup is light and flavorful, not overpowering. Overall, it's a well-balanced and satisfying lunch set that I enjoyed. And all this for just 600 yen! It's a 20-minute walk from my usual hotel in Obihiro, but it's worth it for the delicious meal. I visited Izakaya Yurari for lunch. I had been to this restaurant when it was in Sapporo a few times before, but this was my first visit since it moved to this location. I heard that they now serve lunch, so I decided to check it out. We arrived a little before 12 o'clock and were able to park in front of the restaurant. The lunch menu allows you to choose between meat and fish dishes. My friends chose the chicken cutlet, so I decided to go with the sashimi. The food arrived quickly, and we were impressed by the variety of side dishes. My sashimi came with spinach and carrot omelette, pickled herring and butterbur, daikon and simmered vegetables, and bean sprout salad. Everything was delicious, especially the butterbur that had absorbed the flavor of the herring. The chicken cutlet was also tasty. The restaurant started to fill up after 12 o'clock, showing that it's a popular spot for lunch. Overall, we had a great meal at a reasonable price. Thank you for the delicious food!

I heard rumors about this restaurant by chance and decided to visit for the first time. I was honestly a bit hesitant at first, but by the time I finished eating, I regretted not coming here sooner. There isn't any particular standout dish, but everything is delicious. The fried chicken, yakitori, and other common dishes are all incredibly tasty! They also serve seasonal ingredients at a reasonable price and they taste great. This is a sign of a good restaurant, right? The place is always crowded with locals, almost always full. I'll try my best to become a regular customer too!
