Matcha Mont Blanc! As a matcha lover, this is a must-try! I arrived at the store under the scorching sun and waited for a while. Just receiving it makes my excitement go up (laughs). The sesame tuile with sweet chestnut compote has a hint of aroma. The rich matcha cream is fluffy and the inside is filled with vanilla ice cream. Inside the crepe, there is chestnut cream and whipped cream, with crunchy nuts adding a nice texture. I thought there wasn't much matcha flavor, but then I reached the matcha brownie and matcha sauce, and wow, it's full of matcha! As you eat more, the matcha flavor intensifies, which is a delightful development. The thin dough has a slightly chewy texture, which is just right for the overall balance. Those who prefer chewy dough may find it lacking, but matcha lovers will be satisfied with the strong matcha flavor. It was delicious!

Maibasuketto next to the take-out crepe specialty store in Nango 7-chome in August 2023. There is no place to sit and wait for your order from the window outside, so you have to endure the heat while waiting. Crepes range from 30 types starting at 400 yen, making them easy to buy. I decided to go for the limited edition "Strawberry Princess" for 880 yen, which is perfect for social media. I ordered it for takeout and watched as they skillfully peeled the crepe, cut the fruits generously, and filled it with plenty of strawberries. The crepe was deliciously sweet and sour, with a fresh and juicy taste. The crepe itself was soft and filled with both custard and fresh cream, making it easy to eat. It was a luxurious treat, thank you for the meal! (^ω^)

Matcha flavor is something I love now that I'm an adult. When I was a kid, I would never choose flavors like chocolate mint or red bean, but as you grow up, your taste and preferences definitely change. How about you all? Back in the day, there was an ice cream shop above the food market at Nagasaki-ya in Otaru, and sometimes I would get ice cream, but I always stuck to safe flavors like strawberry. One time, my dad ordered chocolate mint, and I couldn't resist trying a bite. It was a shock! Eww, it tastes like toothpaste! My dad gave me some strawberry to cleanse my palate, but the lingering mint flavor was strong. However, now I think chocolate mint is delicious! Even though I used to think matcha was too sweet for tea, now I love it. I stopped by here after a long time. The dough is matcha-colored! Hmm, maybe I would prefer a stronger matcha flavor? It was hot today, so I should have gotten some ice cream as a topping! Thank you for the meal =)

The mini space in front of Nango Station changes every time, with the latest being a crepe shop called jiji. I bought a matcha sugar crepe. Honestly, Nango surprisingly has crepe shops with reasonable prices, so my slightly negative comment would be that it's a bit overpriced for an average impression. However, there are not many places near Nango 7-chome Station where you can get sweets, so it's worth using it. It's actually quite delicious, but it's a shame that there is no space to eat there. If a shop were to open here, I think it would be better as a takeout-only rice ball shop. You can also take the crepes to go, and I saw someone doing that, but ice cream crepes seem like something only people living nearby would buy.

During the usual lunch hours, after finishing my meal and wandering around, I received a message from an acquaintance about a new crepe shop nearby in Nango 7-chome. Despite having already eaten, I decided to check it out. The shop was named "JiJi Nango Store" and had just opened on March 14, 2023. The menu offered a variety of crepes, including banana, strawberry, other sweet options, hot crepes, and side dish crepes. I ordered the "Pudding a la mode" from the special menu, which was a delightful treat. The crepe was soft and stretchy, made with locally sourced wheat flour. The pudding was not overly sweet, and the whipped cream was light. The combination of banana, kiwi, and strawberry toppings created a good balance of flavors. Overall, it was a satisfying experience. The shop also had a food truck business and seemed to be popular in the area. It was a pleasant surprise and a great place to satisfy your sweet cravings.

On March 14, 2023, a new place opened on White Day. This location has changed shops many times in the past. From what I remember, there used to be a Chinese deli, Shirokuma Crepe, Takoyaki Santa, and more. The location is excellent, just a 30-second walk from Exit 3 of Nango 7-chome Subway Station. I went there right away and ordered a Chocolate Banana Crepe with chocolate spray topping for 530 yen. It's not common to find places that will do the chocolate spray topping, so I was happy about that. I watched them make it, and they were very generous with the topping, even though it costs an extra 80 yen. The fluffy crepe with a crunchy chocolate spray topping was delightful! I hope they continue to do well for a long time. Thank you for the delicious treat! ❤️ (⌒▽⌒)

First in line on opening day~♪ It's been a while since I've been first in line, haha. But it's kind of inconvenient that they decided to open on White Day, right? After this, I'm going to have lunch and eat a parfait (^_^;) The nearby bento shop is closed, which is lucky, haha. The seasonal fruit a la carte for 880 yen or the shop owner's whimsical crepe for 580 yen seem like good choices, but for some reason, I ended up getting both the chocolate banana for 450 yen and the banana brownie for 500 yen (*^^*) I don't even know why I bought two things, haha. Anyway, I tried the chocolate banana right away. I heard you can change the whipped cream to custard or do a half and half, so I went for the half and half♪ It's my first time having custard in a crepe, and it's delicious (*^^*) I might actually like custard more than whipped cream (*´艸｀*) But it's a little hard to eat. Since the wrapping paper doesn't tear, you have to keep turning it to get to all the parts, and if you turn it too much, the melted cream or sauce starts dripping (^_^;) So, in the end, I just ate it all in one go (*^^*) I gave the other one to someone I was meeting later on (*´艸｀*)

The portion size was too large, making it difficult for my elderly body to eat.
