After leaving Edomae Sushi, I casually dropped by Flare. I went through the disinfection and temperature check, and thought about what to buy. I randomly chose three items that caught my eye. The kettle-baked pizza was deliciously chewy. Mori Moto salt bread for 160 yen, chewy croissant for 190 yen, and everyone's favorite kettle-baked pizza for 290 yen. Thank you for the meal! (^^)v

In recent months, the Maritozzo has been trending, but French bread dough with whipped cream also feels like a great combination. Morimoto's French bread dough choux has a salty dough with a thin, crispy crust, and the lightly sweet whipped cream is plentiful and delicious. While fruit in whipped cream sandwiches may not look visually appealing, I wonder if it tastes good. I feel adventurous and want to try it out.

Went to buy the May 2021 Choco Pie Donut but they were sold out. They had Turtle Bread instead. I thought the Curry Bread would be enough for me, but then I discovered the Ham Egg English Muffin. My companion got the Marron Tots, and in the end, we spent thousands of yen. On the way back, we distributed the items among our children. I enjoyed the Marron Tots as soon as I got home. It was a luxurious cream with lightly salted dough that highlighted the subtle creaminess. The next morning, I lightly toasted the Ham Egg English Muffin in a graphite toaster. It was delicious with no unnecessary seasonings. I split the English Muffin in half and sandwiched ham, fried egg, ham, and cheese. It was just perfect. There may be room for improvement in the ham, but this muffin is tasty. I realized that I want to try sandwiching other items as well.

Today is Children's Day, so I used it as an opportunity to buy snacks. There are a few parking spaces in front of the store and also in the back, so it was easy to find a spot to park. Before entering, I sanitized my hands and had my temperature checked. Once inside, there were a moderate number of customers, but I didn't have to wait long to make my purchase. When I got home and tried the snacks, the kashiwa mochi had a strong aroma of mugwort and tasted delicious. The cakes were quickly devoured by the children. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I visited looking for a companion for my coffee. There are a few parking spaces in front of the store and about 10 spaces in the back. The photo (not the best quality, sorry) is of the tiramisu, which costs around 400 yen. It's good value for the price, but it might be a bit much for one person. 2015/01 I came to buy bread and took a look at the cake corner. There were cute sweets like the "Alpaca" limited to the Megumino store for 300 yen. I thought it was a cake, but it turned out to be a cream puff. I first bit into the cream on the face - delicious! It was light and not too sweet. However, the custard cream at the bottom was too sweet. The "Fluffy Moko" for 200 yen is a sheep made of biscuits. The ears came off, and the staff asked if I wanted a replacement, but I took it home as it was. When I took it out of the bag to eat, one ear and one horn had come off the sheep's face. I couldn't figure out how they were originally attached, so I randomly stuck the ear and horn back on. I should have looked at the photos of the main store's reviewer eihoka before. I'm missing one ear - I mistakenly attached the horn to the ear. The "HAPPY Merry" for 180 yen is a melon bread. I don't usually eat melon bread, so I'm not sure, but it tasted like regular melon bread. The "Rich Double Chocolate" for 450 yen is a cake with bitter chocolate mousse and rich gateau chocolat layered together. I was attracted to the bitterness, but towards the end, the gateau chocolat was a bit sweet. In the middle of it, there was haskap sauce, which I used to dislike, but as an adult, I found it balanced out the sweetness nicely. However, 450 yen is quite expensive, even though it came in a fancy transparent case. ---------- 2014/08 I came here two weeks in a row. Last week, there was no soft serve figurine. It seems they don't sell it at the Megumino store - disappointed. When I parked in front of the store and looked back, this week they had it! But maybe they were selling it even when the figurine wasn't there. I didn't see the menu inside, but there was a soft serve machine. When I asked the staff, they confirmed that they were indeed selling it. I just had one at a different store, but I'll have a second one today. You can choose between a cup or cone, and it's vanilla flavor. I had it at the main store before, but I don't remember what it was like, so I checked my own review, which said it was "rich and moist." It looked fluffy and creamy, like whipped cream, and it was delicious. However, as I ate more, it started to feel refreshing. Maybe because the soft serve was sweet, the cone felt light. Soft serve was just a side purchase when I came to buy bread. Lately, I've been into the "Moist Steamed Chocolate Donut" for 170 yen. It was moist and slightly sweet, and when I thought it was crunchy, I realized there were chocolate chips inside (I found out from the ingredient list). The cake roll is a must-have. ---------- 2011/05 Located in the bustling area of Megumino, it's hard to find parking in front of the store, but I often use the parking lot at the back. There are fewer varieties than the main store, and the store feels cramped, but the taste seems delicious. When I first tried the cake roll, I thought the bread dough was chewy. But after eating it multiple times, it's hard to tell... The lineup was shorter than the main store.

January 2017, it started snowing again, even though the weather was nice in the morning. Let's have lunch with some bread. It's Sunday at 11:40, and the parking lot in front of the store is open. Usually it's full and I have to park in the back lot, but today I got lucky! The bread is all freshly baked and ready to be chosen. Even though there are many options, I can only eat about 2 pieces. More customers keep coming in. I fill up a tray with bread and then go to pay. Besides the bakery, I also find something else interesting. I try a sample and the strawberry is so sweet. It's common for the filling to be sweet and the strawberry to be sour, but this one is super sweet!! I decide to buy it too. I have a relaxed lunch at my wife's parents' house. The curry bread is a must-buy every time. This bakery's curry bread is without a doubt delicious. The curry tastes better with each bite. The fried bread is also good. I try the nostalgic yakisoba bread for the first time. The filling is just yakisoba. It's true that there's a lot of it, but it's just yakisoba (laughs). The yakisoba filling only has parsley and a little mayonnaise. It's not very flavorful, but that's what makes it good. The strawberry daifuku for dessert was delicious.

On 10/10/2016, after enjoying a delicious bowl of ramen, my wife mentioned that she wanted to bring a gift to her parents' house. I searched for some sweets as a gift and decided to stop by Morimoto Keimino store. I couldn't resist the temptation and ended up buying some bread as well. We bought a few pastries and headed to my wife's parents' house. Later, we enjoyed the bread as our dinner and snack with some drinks. Personally, I believe that bread goes well with alcohol, so it was a perfect choice. This was my first time visiting Morimoto Keimino store, but I have been to other Morimoto stores before and I knew the bread would be delicious. The taste of the bread did not disappoint, especially the one with egg on top. It was a classic sandwich bread with egg, mayonnaise, and onions. My wife enjoyed the curry bread, and the bacon epi-style bread was a great accompaniment to our drinks. Morimoto never fails to deliver great taste at a reasonable price. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for tasty bread. It was a delightful experience!

Snow crane Hokkaido strawberry hascup has a different sweet and sourness. It's cute in the summer, so I bought it. Chocolate decoration cake with fresh cream. It has a fluffy sponge, easy to eat. Chocolate cookies with a sweet taste. Cheesecake pudding, cute appearance, similar to rare cheesecake, generous portion, strong sweetness. Chinese steamed buns, limited on weekends, moist even the next day, delicious. Bite-sized black sugar steamed buns, 20 pieces for 300 yen, chewy texture, good taste for the price. A shop where you can easily go when you feel like eating cake. Limited variety in the evening, purchased King's chocolate, King's shortcake, fluffy chestnut Mont Blanc, and pudding a la mode. All names were forgotten, so not accurate. I usually eat chocolate cake, but this time I was in the mood for pudding a la mode. The King's chocolate was luxurious, but I am satisfied with normal chocolate. The King's series has strawberries sandwiched in between. I tasted everything, and they were delicious.

[Takeout] Established in October 1949 in Chitose, aiming to provide over 60 years of confectionery amusement, Morimoto offers a variety of Japanese and Western sweets as well as bread. Their signature confection is "Yukizuru." The location of the Keimino store is right in front of JR Keimino Station South Exit, along the road that changes from Tamachi Kanko-dori to Koganenakajima-dori, facing Ito-Yokado Keimino store. On June 30, 2014, at 3:00 PM, after eating pilaf at my place, I had a good feeling, so I decided to stop by! Upon looking around the store, I found something special. It's the 30th anniversary of the Chitose-born "tamagomanju," and for the next 3 days, it's 30 yen off! So, I bought 2 pieces. They are about the size of hot spring manju, and when you take them out of the bag, they have a sweet scent of eggs and sugar. There's also a faintly burnt syrupy aroma. When you open it up, it's orange like an egg yolk! The taste is just like egg yolk, smooth with a texture that sticks to the bottom, just like a boiled egg. It's like a boiled egg-flavored sweet treat! Cheep, cheep!

I have been a fan of Morimoto in Megumino since I was a child, growing up in Shimamatsu. The selection and sizes at Mitsuboshi in Yokado are not quite up to par, and my parents find Fujiya too rich. So, for birthdays, Christmas, and everyday treats, I always come here for cakes and bread. As soon as you enter, you'll see the bread section in front, with baked goods and chocolates to the left, and a display case of cakes. People from Ebetsu and Chitose often buy sweets here for small celebrations or gifts, so even if you haven't bought anything yourself, you've probably tried their treats. I visited just before Valentine's Day, so there was a wide variety of chocolates, but I didn't see many unique Morimoto chocolates that caught my eye. The store was bustling with mostly female customers. Be careful crossing the busy sidewalk to get to the parking lot, and the traffic light at the station stays red for a long time, making it inconvenient with narrow roads. I haven't used it, but there is a parking lot behind the store. The staff are always friendly, energetic, and provide great service with a smile. I bought "2 Genkotsu Choux Creams & a Neri-gashi (name unknown)" for a total of 395 yen. I've bought the Neri-gashi before, a sweet treat from Uguisu-chan, but I can't remember the name, and it wasn't displayed this time. I love the slightly firm choux pastry and creamy filling. At 110 yen, it's very affordable. I also love Uguisu-chan's sweet strained bean paste. It's colorful and delicious to look at.

I have been relying on Morimoto's Woody Roll for a long time! I often buy the half size (630 yen). Even though it's a half size, it's about 5 slices worth. I have tried various roll cakes, but I think this one is top-notch as long as you don't dislike raisins. I have a friend who doesn't like whipped cream, but they like Woody Roll because the amount of cream is not too much. Woody Roll has choux pastry sprinkled on the surface, and the raisins with a rum flavor and the mildly sweet cream go well together! However, occasionally, the surface seems to be dry for some reason. There may be some inconsistency, so I gave it a rating of 3.5 stars. Nevertheless, it is undeniably delicious. Also, as a side note, the Haskap Jewelry is delicious! The sweet and sour Haskap jam, cookies, and chocolate on the edges are perfectly matched.
