Takeout from Kakitane Kitchen. The size and flavor of the appetizers were just right and excellent. The cheese was rich. The spicy flavor had a nice kick at the end, perfect with alcohol. The seafood salt flavor was my personal favorite. I would love to try out other flavors as well. It would make a great souvenir, so definitely check it out!

Kakitane Mix Pack includes three flavors: luxurious cheese, shrimp mayonnaise, and Japanese-style teriyaki soy sauce. They are like enlarged versions of kakinotane snacks. Luxurious cheese and shrimp mayonnaise have a crunchy texture and a delicious powder coating, while Japanese-style teriyaki soy sauce has a crispy texture. I like luxurious cheese the most, but all of them are delicious. I will definitely buy them again. Thank you for the meal.

On a steamy day in July, I stopped by Daimaru Department Store in Sapporo for a moment of cool relief. The store was comfortably air-conditioned, and the sweat dripping from my forehead seemed to evaporate instantly. As I browsed for souvenirs to bring home, I came across a shop selling reasonably priced rice crackers called "Kakitane Kitchen at Daimaru Sapporo Store." I purchased some karinto, which came in a cute package with a modest amount of the snack inside. The flavor was not overwhelmingly delicious, but it had a subtle taste that highlighted the quality of the ingredients. I thought it would be perfect to enjoy with tea or sake. Since the prices are affordable, I look forward to trying out different snacks next time. Maybe I'll get some kakinotane?

I was super excited to visit the department store basement for the first time in a while. I bought some snacks like "kakitane" in Sendai... Turns out they have it in Sapporo too. They offer various options like long boxes and cube boxes, but they also have a "by weight" option. You can choose 3 flavors for 324 yen. They also have a cat-shaped bottle for 1188 yen. The selection of 3 flavors is the same, the only difference is the quantity. I chose cheese, salt sauce, and shrimp mayonnaise. They layered them in the cup in that order. It's quite a good deal for 324 yen considering the amount you get. The cheese flavor is quite strong, making you crave a drink due to its saltiness. The salt sauce tastes as expected, with a hint of pepper. The shrimp mayonnaise was the family favorite. You can instantly tell it's rich with mayo. It's a highly recommended and convenient souvenir. It's interesting, delicious, and keeps well for a decent amount of time. Bon appétit!

After experiencing a change and looking for something to gift to those who have helped me in the past, I came across a shop that offers a variety of flavored kaki no tane (small rice crackers). They have flavors like cheese-filled ones and others coated in white chocolate, among others. I purchased the top-ranked flavors from their flavor contest, which are the limited-time offerings of Japanese-style dashi curry flavor and shrimp mayo flavor. I plan to gift the former and keep the latter for myself. Upon trying them, I found that the size of the crackers is slightly larger than the ones commonly found in convenience stores, and they have a crispy texture. When opened, there is a subtle shrimp aroma, which is quite strong. These crackers seem like they would pair well with a dry alcoholic beverage. However, I felt that they lacked a bit of punch when eaten on their own. Nevertheless, I am intrigued by the variety and unique character of the shop's offerings, so I might try ordering the cheese-filled ones next time. Thank you for the meal.

This assortment from a specialty shop for Kakinotane (persimmon seeds) doesn't quite fit the traditional image of Kakinotane, but it's a unique mix. The flavors are rich and go well with alcohol! Initially, I wasn't too impressed with the caramel flavor, but I can see now... it's the most addictive one in the bunch due to its quantity.
Each pack has a powdery texture with a strong flavor, except for the caramel, and they pair nicely with beer! When I first tried the caramel, I wasn't too sure about it, but it's surprisingly addictive once you start eating it. The perfect balance of sweetness and a hint of saltiness might be the reason why. Bon appétit!

I came to Kaki Tane Kitchen located on the basement floor of Daimaru Sapporo near Sapporo Station. I thought I had already reviewed it since I eat here often, but it turns out I hadn't reviewed it yet (≧∀≦) I often forget things like this lately, maybe I'm starting to get forgetful. To improve work efficiency, productivity, and mental health, I purchased "wasabi and soy sauce" flavored kaki no tane. It's a great deal for 378 yen! I will blend these kaki no tane with peanuts that I bought from a convenience store and keep as a staple in my company desk drawer. This combination is important. It's programmed with RPA! Haha. When you put it in your mouth, the pungent wasabi and soy sauce flavor is irresistible! It's truly a way to reform the way we work! Moreover, peanuts are low in sugar, fill you up, and act as a risk management tool-like food. Why not reconsider your life plan with kaki no tane too? Haha. Thank you for the meal ^_^

I'm alone in Sapporo, so I decided to ban all self-initiated food log activities next week, so I have to make money this week. I thought I would be greedy and attack, but I ended up at Esta. It's a simple idea, but I couldn't think of anything else for a country bumpkin like me. When I arrived, I found that most facilities around the station were operating with shortened hours due to the coronavirus. They're opening an hour later. What a joke. Give me back my hour... There's nowhere else to go. So, I ended up at the open Daimaru. There were quite a few people visiting Daimaru. "Kakitane Kitchen" - I hadn't written about this place before? "Seafood-style salt sauce" - this is number two. It's been number two for a long time, so I have a special attachment to it. That's okay, right? It's all about the texture, right? As I enjoy the texture, the seafood aroma comes through subtly, but it's refreshing. The saltiness and seafood flavor are not overpowering, which is nice. Well, unlike that Hokkairo, it's not something that will linger forever, so once you finish the amount you transferred to your plate, you can say it was delicious, thank you, and that's it. And yet, it's gone before you know it... That's how it is. It's only in my stomach at that moment, but...

I have passed by the store a few times in the past, feeling indifferent towards "Kakinotane" snacks. However, I decided to give it a try and bought an assortment of flavors called "Bouquet Box" for 540 yen. The box contained various flavors such as "Sansho pepper, salt sauce, and luxury cheese." The seeds were larger than regular Kakinotane, giving a sense of luxury. The best flavor was the "luxury cheese," with a subtle cheese taste and a perfect hint of natural salt flavor. It was delicious and perfect as a snack with beer. Definitely worth trying at least once! Thank you for the meal.

From Sapporo to Fukuoka, there is a specialty shop for Kakinotane (seasoned rice crackers) all over the country. There are over ten different flavors available! If you ask the staff, they will let you taste them. They are a bit pricey, and I was thinking of just buying the Kakinotane from Kameda Seika sold at the supermarket, but after trying so many samples, I felt like I had to buy something. I ended up getting the "Scallop-flavored seafood-style salt sauce" for 378 yen. It's not your typical Kakinotane, but it's a great snack for kids, a tea time treat for moms, or a beer snack for dads!

My partner bought me some kaki no tane on their way back from the beauty salon. I've only tried the cheese-in flavor so far, but the smoky saltiness and the cheese inside are delicious! I'm really looking forward to trying the other flavors!

I purchased some persimmon seeds from Kakitane Kitchen. The "Salt-boiled Edamame Flavor" is a seasonal limited edition product made with powder from "dadacha beans" from Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture. The seeds are larger than usual, making them easy to pick up. They have a hint of edamame flavor and are quite addictive. Another seasonal limited edition flavor I tried was the "Asparagus Mayonnaise Flavor," made with powder from Hokkaido asparagus. It has a subtle asparagus scent and tastes delicious. I also tried the "Azumino Wasabi and Soy Sauce Blend" and the "Salad-flavored Rich Butter Potato Butter Flavor," both of which were tasty. The "Bonito Ponzu Cup" had a strong ponzu flavor with a hint of bonito, but I personally prefer a milder ponzu taste. Overall, Kakitane Kitchen offers a variety of flavors to explore and enjoy. I look forward to trying more in the future.

This is a specialty shop for various flavors of kaki no tane (rice crackers). They have flavors like cheese, seafood, and even limited edition flavors like asparagus. I was surprised when I first saw the shop. This time, I visited to buy something and tried various flavors. I ended up choosing the Samurai Sauce flavor. It's larger than regular kaki no tane, with a spicy-sweet taste, crispy texture, and it's really delicious. The amount you get is also quite generous. It was delicious ^^

This time, I went to "Kakitane Kitchen" to buy souvenirs for my workplace. I was looking around for a reasonably priced souvenir and came across this shop. While looking at the products, I found out that you can also create your own "custom-made Kakitane" by choosing your favorite flavor, but it took quite some time. I didn't want to spend too much time, so I ended up buying the No.2 or No.3 popular flavor, "Sweet Soy Sauce with a Spicy Kick". I also got one for myself (laughs). When I tried it, it was quite spicy. The spiciness is addictive. It goes really well with beer! I would like to try other flavors as well. Thank you for the meal! (^^)

I used to use this place in Osaka a long time ago, and I had been hoping it would open in Sapporo too. And it did! This time, I tried the new flavor of kinpira, my all-time favorite cheese, and of course, the classic kakinotane. I also bought a cup of buttery popcorn and another type that lasts longer than a cup, with takoyaki flavor. The kinpira was a bit too spicy for me, and it had a kind of earthy taste. It wasn't bad, but maybe not my favorite. The cheese was delicious as always, and even though I feel like I've had a snack with a similar flavor before, it was still tasty. The buttery popcorn needs no explanation, it's just so good. And the takoyaki flavor was similar to another snack I've had before, but still delicious. I'll try a different flavor next time. Overall, the kakinotane here has large, tasty peanuts, and I recommend it (though there are occasional misses).

On my day off, when asked if there was anything I wanted as my companion was going shopping around Sapporo Station, I requested cheese-flavored kaki no tane (small rice crackers). I have had them a few times before and have tried different flavors, but I really love the cheese flavor and I'm hooked. These kaki no tane are large and plump, yet crispy with a satisfying crunch. The cheese is rich in both smell and taste, and once I start eating them, I can't stop. And of course, I can't stop drinking beer either. After trying these kaki no tane, I hardly buy any other snacks. The limited-time salt-boiled edamame flavor was also delicious, with a strong edamame flavor that goes well with beer. I really enjoyed it. These kaki no tane never disappoint, so I would love to try various limited-time flavors. When I asked my companion when they would go to Daimaru next, they weren't sure yet, but when they do go, I will definitely ask them to bring me some. Thank you for the meal.

Last year, a specialty shop for kaki no tane (small rice crackers) appeared in the basement of Daimaru without me even noticing. They sell various flavors like curry and wasabi, but my favorite is the sansho (Japanese pepper) flavor. It has a perfect balance of sweet and spicy with a moderate tingling sensation from the sansho. I tend to eat too much of it without realizing. I checked their website and found out that they use sansho from Shimizu Nanaban-ya, which explains why it's so addictive.
