On Saturday afternoon, I had a meal at Apia during happy hour and got a little tipsy. For dessert, I ordered a mobile-ordered oolong tea with tapioca topping, as they were having a campaign. It wasn't too sweet because I chose the black sugar flavor. I enjoyed chewing on the slightly sweet tapioca while sipping the tea. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I was extremely thirsty, so I jumped into Gong Cha. I hadn't visited for a while and noticed that they had added various items to the menu. I decided to try the recommended Iron Buddha Frozen drink. The base is similar to hojicha tea, but it's more refreshing and easy to drink, with a slightly nutty flavor. Even though it's easy to drink, it lasts until the end because there's no ice in it. It takes a bit of effort to sip it all the way through, but it's worth it. I would like to try the mango or white tea flavors next time. Gong Cha seems to have a reasonable price range.

[Takeout available] A cafe chain that was founded in Taiwan in 2006 and has over 1800 stores worldwide. In Japan, it is operated by a company called Gong Cha Japan, established in March 2015. It is located in the commercial facility Apia, directly connected to Sapporo Station. They have a point card system where you earn 1 point for each drink, 5 points for your favorite topping, 10 points for customizing a drink, and 15 points for upsizing a drink. Points are valid for 2 years from the date of issue. Points are not earned when exchanging 15 points for a free drink.Visited for the first time on February 9, 2023, at 4:30 pm. The menu was hard to read, and the website was not very helpful. I always thought it was a Chinese company, so I never stopped by, but it turns out it's from Taiwan. I ordered a hot chai milk tea in a small size for 510 yen. I added maximum syrup and milk foam for an additional 80 yen. I didn't realize that milk foam was an extra charge menu item, so I added it without much thought because there were customers waiting behind me. The menu at the register was hard to read, and there was only one menu sheet, making it difficult for couples to choose. The milk foam was cold, which made the hot drink lukewarm. I chose the sweetest option for the drink, and it turned out to be quite sweet. Overall, I enjoyed the chai milk tea and would like to try other items from Gong Cha in the future. That's all for now.

I used it for hydration (*'ω'*)* Limited time offer: Mango Jewelry Milk Tea (650 yen) There was a limited-time menu called "Traveling Gong Cha" where you can feel like you're on a trip. I asked for the milk tea to be less sweet. I really like the milk tea here (*'ω'*) The mango jelly had a texture similar to nata de coco, and I liked the taste. The mango flavor was elegant, and surprisingly, it went well with the milk tea. Since the outbreak of the coronavirus, I haven't been on a plane... It's nice to be able to feel like you're traveling easily. I feel like going to Shin-Okubo... (It's not Korea! Haha)

Regardless of the trend, I still enjoy drinking tapioca. I know that black sugar milk goes well with tapioca, but I tried adding tapioca toppings to a seasonal fruit vinegar drink. The base seemed like something I could make at home, with a drinkable vinegar and carbonation, but I really like the chewy texture of Gong Cha's tapioca.

My daughters were talking about tapioca a few years ago... Today, I wanted to drink something other than coffee. And when it comes to drinks without sugar? So, I tried Gong Cha for the first time. I was told that the fruit flavored teas have sweetness in them, so I opted for unsweetened jasmine green tea. When I tried it, it was strong and slightly bitter, with a hint of astringency, which suited my taste. Thank you for the meal.

The tapioca boom - how many times has it happened in the past... The line of high school girls... truly a communal space for maidens. I used to be afraid. A few years later... I happened to take a look at a tapioca shop and thought, "Huh? There aren't that many people here." Maybe I should try it. So I visited. They have a student discount... that's nice. Black sugar tapioca milk tea. The tapioca is chewy and the drink is sweet and delicious, it can satisfy a small hunger. I see, it's perfect for drinking on the go. That's why this trend keeps coming back, huh. It might be good for young people. Adults, on the other hand, probably not so much. Yes, it was just delicious in a normal way. There was no feeling of being ripped off. I liked it enough to go occasionally when I heard about the student discount.

Gong Cha Sapporo Apia store. Yesterday, I got a tea for only 100 yen with a coupon. It didn't have tapioca pearls, but for 100 yen, it was great! I was shopping and got thirsty, so it was very helpful. Thank you for the meal.

2020/12 Assorted Porridge (Chicken Ginseng Soup) Set 680 yen at APIA WEST B1. I'm not interested in tapioca, but I'm curious about the new Chinese porridge. It's been a while since I went to Sapporo Station for work lunch before work for takeout. I don't have the energy to go out during break time. There was no line like before, no customers on a weekday before noon. There are 3 types of porridge: Chicken Ginseng Soup, Ginger Tomato, Salted Kombu. It's under 150kcal and healthy with good satiety. A single item costs 540 yen, but the drink set is 680 yen, which is a good deal. I waited for about 10 minutes after ordering. The Chicken Ginseng Soup porridge has a gentle chicken broth with a strong flavor, so it's satisfying. The drink is Ali Shan Oolong Tea in a generously filled sealed cup. The soft material doesn't make a "peko" sound even when you drink it vigorously, which is innovative. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I visited "Gong Cha" at Sapporo Apia Joyful Walk. It was the second store to open after the one at Akarenga Plaza, which used to have long lines. However, the trend of long lines seems to be fading as many bubble tea shops are now open, and there are fewer queues. I ordered a Tapioca Matcha Milk Tea without milk foam this time to avoid excessive sweetness. The drink was served quickly, with tapioca pearls that were slightly warm, matcha flavor not too strong, and a gentle sweetness. I personally prefer the taste here, but my favorite is "TEA●IGN ◎apioca & 〇ea Bar" at North 12th Street and Parco basement, where I enjoy the tea flavor more than the tapioca itself. There are still a few tapioca shops I want to try, but as a solo diner, I find it challenging to explore them all.

I always see a line, but even without lining up, there's a slight line when leaving! You can tell it's popular♡♡ It's not really a specialty store, but it's definitely different from convenience stores. The tapioca is deliciously chewy and the drinks are tasty too, it was a pleasant surprise. The tapioca is sweet, so it might be better not to make the drinks too sweet. The hojicha and milk tea were delicious! I understand why people line up and I want to buy it again (*^^*) Thank you for the meal! (っ˘ڡ˘ς)

At Goncha in Apia, there is always a long line, but when I went there were only two people ahead of me. I tried the Black Sugar Oolong Milk Tea with milk foam topping. It was quite sweet, but the milk foam made the taste smooth. Most customers are young girls. You have to wait a bit at the cashier, and the small shop gets crowded. Even though it was not busy when I arrived, the line grew long again while waiting for my order. Thank you for the meal.

When I went to Apia for another errand, I found Gong Cha. I knew they were opening here. Surprisingly, it's not too crowded. If I don't have to wait, I'll give it a try. It seems to be only for takeout. I don't quite understand the system. Choose the tea, choose the sweetness level, choose the toppings... I see. Oh, tapioca is considered a topping? I thought this was a tapioca-focused shop, so I was surprised. And I'm curious about the new arrivals. Pomegranate Milk Tea 470 yen, Chocolate Milk Tea M normal sweetness 470 yen, Tapioca 70 yen. I had the impression that it was expensive, but the prices are actually average. It was ready in just a few minutes. When I left the store, I noticed there was a line of about 10 people. I had good timing. The pomegranate milk tea had a refreshing sweetness and a hint of acidity. The konjac jelly was softer than tapioca. It might be good for a light snack. The chocolate milk tea is quite sweet. Shake it well before drinking as instructed. The tapioca has a chewy rather than bouncy texture. The lid is tight and easy to insert the straw. The vinegar drink was delicious. I would definitely come back.

Gong Cha Sapporo Apia store is relatively quiet, so you can buy without waiting in line, which is attractive! There are also seats in front of the store, so you can buy and drink there. They also seal the drinks in a special bag for takeout, which is great. Check out more details here ☟【Gong Cha Sapporo Apia store】Buy without waiting in line! I was lucky that there was no line even though it was night. It was delicious. I can also use the points card I got at Red Brick Terrace. Added on 3/22/2022: It's so convenient that you can now order via LINE! That's progress! Like it.

Passing by, you can't help but buy the most famous tapioca milk tea, Gong Cha. On April 17, 2020, the first store in Hokkaido, Sapporo, opened at the Akarenga Terrace, becoming the first store in the region. The second Gong Cha store in Hokkaido opened on July 22 in Sapporo, at Sapporo Station's Apia underground floor. Gong Cha is known for its high-quality tea leaves and carefully brewed tea menu. There are four types of tea bases: Jasmine Green Tea, Oolong Tea, Black Tea, and Ali Shan Oolong Tea. You can customize your drink's sweetness and ice level, and choose up to three toppings like tapioca, milk foam, nata de coco, or aloe.

When it gets hot, the symptoms of this designated rare disease worsen, and unfortunately, there is still no medication that suits me. If my reviews or comments suddenly stop, please assume that I have been hospitalized again, as in the past. Even if I have to take a break for the third time, I still want to return as a reviewer. Likes and comments may be delayed, but I plan to catch up and do them after my return. [July 2020] Last year in Sapporo, there was a trend of opening tapioca drink shops. However, this year, the pace has slowed down. "Gong Cha" is a Taiwanese tea shop that was founded in Kaohsiung, the second largest city in Taiwan, in 2006. It is a large company with a capital of over 2 billion. The "Gong Cha Sapporo Apia Store" opened on July 22, 2020. This is their second store in Hokkaido. I visited with my usual companion for the first time. The shop is located in the Sapporo Station area in Chuo Ward, on the first basement floor of JR Sapporo in "Sapporo Apia West." Please check the exact location of the shop on Tabelog. I visited before 12:00 pm on a weekday. Unlike the grand opening of the first store at Red Brick Terrace, there were only about 3 customers in line in front and behind. The recommended drinks are "Black Sugar Milk Oolong Tea" and "Black Sugar Milk Black Tea." I ordered an "Iced Black Sugar Milk Black Tea" with tapioca. It only took a few minutes from lining up for my usual companion to receive the drink. The "Iced Black Sugar Milk Black Tea with Tapioca" is served with a thick straw pierced through the top seal. It has a good balance of sweetness and a nice base flavor. It is properly cold. The black pearls are large and black in color with a good chewy texture. Price: 637 yen (tax included). The "Iced Black Sugar Milk Black Tea" has a top-class base flavor. The tapioca has a good chewy texture. It is a properly cold iced drink. Many tapioca drinks are served lukewarm, but this one is properly cold. As expected from a popular and reputable shop. Next time, I might try the "Iced Black Sugar Milk Oolong Tea." Thank you for the meal.

I got excited thinking about Gong Cha for the first time since my trip to Korea, but the drink didn't impress me. When I calmed down, I realized it was too expensive. I wonder if I'll go back again.
