Arrived at 6:50 before the 7:00 opening time, anticipating a crowd due to catching a train after 8:30. As expected, there were about 10 people waiting. A queue naturally formed close to opening time. No host to guide. Ordered the B set at the payment counter. Severe congestion at the payment counter. Each person had to be asked for their coffee choice and brewed individually, causing delays. Received orange juice and blended coffee, then sat down. It was already 7:10. Toast sandwich, vegetable salad, yogurt, and a bagged bagel or donut were served. It was 7:15. Even with a coffee refill ticket, the never-ending line made it impossible to get one. Not sure about the hotel's capacity, but for those with little time in the morning, this place may not be recommended. Finished eating by 7:30.

Upon entering, there is a counter on the right where you order and pay first. The interior is spacious with plenty of table seating. It is not very crowded in the morning, but during lunchtime, it gets busy with office workers from the surrounding area. The Sausage Set includes ham sausage, salad, bread, and a drink. I chose iced coffee for the drink and it was served first. Then the meal was brought to the table. The bread slices were thin, unfortunately, margarine was provided instead of butter. The ham and sausage had a strong salty flavor. The salad was quite sad-looking with lettuce, potato salad, corn, and tomato. I wish there was more lettuce or other ingredients added. The hot coffee from the machine wasn't to my liking, so I made the right choice with iced coffee. During breakfast hours, it can get crowded as it also serves as a breakfast venue for JR Inn. However, after 9 am, it is less crowded, making it comfortable for a leisurely meal.

They offered a choice between two options, so I chose the sandwich. It came with a small donut and you could have as much coffee as you wanted, so it was a satisfying breakfast.

It's cheaper than other places, so even when I have errands on Odori or Sapporo Station, I park in Susukino and walk from there. The nearby cafe was empty, so I immediately went in! This place is newer and cleaner anyway. I had developed a negative image of the cafe latte at Mor**ko I visited the other day, as it was too foamy and had a small drinkable amount, so I ordered a cafe au lait (341 yen including tax). Then my companion wanted to test it out and ordered a cafe latte (407 yen including tax) (laughs). I also got a chewy Mont Blanc waffle (275 yen including tax). I haven't looked into the official differences, but it seems like the ratio of milk to espresso is different in this shop. The cafe au lait was more milky. The café is located across from Hotel New Otani, with a deep seating area towards the back. Due to the current situation, the counter seats were spaced out, and there were also many table seats available. The background music playing was sad Western music. From the menu that day, I chose to order the "Moist Milk Crepe" and "Iced Tea Set (770 yen)" as I planned to visit another restaurant later. Oh, the prices are excluding tax... Anyway, I took a bite of the crepe and found it to be slightly smaller in size compared to Doutor's crepes, which was convenient for me. The cream was clearly original, slightly on the sweeter side compared to Doutor's, with various ingredients inside. The bottom layer was sponge cake, which was neither good nor bad. Next, the iced tea was easy to drink and refreshing. To pass some more time, I ordered a refill of American coffee (110 yen) and finished it. Although it has not opened yet, the cafe on the first floor, "Cafe de Crie," is already open for business starting at 7 am every day. The cafe has a capacity of around 70-80 seats, with various seating options including tables for 2, counter seats, and a large communal table with AC, USB ports, and WiFi available. You order and pay at the counter before receiving your drink. I ordered a "Blend Coffee (Tall size) @290+tax" and found a seat at the communal table. The coffee was served in a large white cup and had a mild bitterness and acidity, making it easy to drink. They also offer a service where you can get a second coffee or tea for 100 yen or a latte for 150 yen at the same store with the presentation of your receipt. The area around the air conditioning vent at the back of the store seemed to have a strong airflow, making it a bit chilly for some customers who ended up moving. With competitors like Tully's and Starbucks nearby, the coffee battle in the area has become intense. I might visit again in the future.
