On August 11, 2023 (Friday, holiday) at 17:40, Revisiting a nostalgic restaurant in Asahikawa. For dinner on this day, I decided to go for Italian food by myself. I visited La Palazzina, a quiet Italian restaurant located in a residential area. It had been 20 years since I last visited, but the restaurant had not changed at all. There was one couple of two women as the first customers. I was guided to the round table in the center of the restaurant. The customers behind me were two senior women who seemed to be locals. The staff at the restaurant seemed familiar with them, as they brought a gift to the kitchen and chatted at the counter. The other tables were set with cutlery, all seeming to be reserved. I ordered a non-alcoholic beer (500 yen), a vegetable-only salad (700 yen), and homemade hand-cut pasta with tomato sauce (1,300 yen). First, I had the non-alcoholic beer, which was served in a stylish ceramic cup. It had a strong barley aroma, and I felt satisfied as I enjoyed it. The vegetable-only salad was vibrant with green leafy vegetables and red tomatoes that were sweet and fresh. The leafy vegetables were at room temperature, which was a bit disappointing, but overall, it was satisfying to have plenty of fresh vegetables. The main dish was tagliatelle pasta. I had expected a chewy texture from the hand-cut pasta, but it was a bit lacking. The seasoning was also on the bland side, with the tomato flavor being predominant. I felt like it needed an extra kick. Nevertheless, the atmosphere of the restaurant felt like a trattoria in the countryside of Italy, rooted in the local community, and that was very comforting for me. While I was enjoying my meal, I saw a few customers who had come without a reservation leaving disappointed as the restaurant was fully booked with reservations and existing customers. To make room for the next person, I decided to leave promptly after finishing my meal. The bill came to 2,500 yen, and they only accepted cash. I would like to visit again when I want to be comforted by this atmosphere. Thank you for the meal~

When I entered the restaurant, there was a lively gathering of ladies in a slightly secluded area, maybe insurance saleswomen? When women get together, it's always so much fun. I quietly had lunch. The lunch set costs 1000 yen and comes with a choice of one of five types of spaghetti and a mini appetizer (salad and bruschetta). The salad had a refreshing scent of olive oil and a simple taste. The bruschetta had a slightly cheap texture. I couldn't decide between the squid pasta and the Amatriciana, but I ended up choosing the Amatriciana. It had a straight tomato sauce with a hint of acidity. The noodles were thick and slightly softer than al dente. The pancetta added a nice touch. I also tried a bit of the carbonara, which was a bit salty, maybe due to the balance with the bacon. I hope the day comes soon when we can have a lively ladies' gathering without any worries.

"I can't say it's good" There is something missing? Lunch set for 1,000 yen, salad with olive oil dressing, pasta has no extra flair, but the taste is not bad. My favorite is "drinking ice water" - cold water with crushed ice served together or separately from a water cooler. (So the drink rating is 3.9) (My rating is "neither good nor bad" is 3.8) (76/100) But there's something missing... it's not bad...

Italian restaurant in Harumitsu, Asahikawa City. I visited for lunch. During lunchtime, they offer lunch sets with pasta and a mini appetizer. You can add a drink for an additional 100 yen. Desserts are not included in the set, but on this day, there were five options available. I ordered the "Bolognese" (1,000 yen with the mini appetizer), "black tea" (add 100 yen for lunch set), and "Lemon Sherbet Grappa Flavor" (550 yen). First, the mini appetizer was served. The salad was a simple mix of lettuce, carrots, and purple onions with a tangy dressing. The bruschetta was perfectly toasted with olive oil drizzled on top, very flavorful and delicious. After finishing the appetizer, the pasta arrived. The Bolognese was made with slightly thin pasta, generously topped with well-seasoned minced meat and plenty of cheese. The tomato flavor with a hint of acidity was delightful. With the mini appetizer and pasta, the 1,000 yen price was satisfying. After the meal, dessert and black tea were served. The Lemon Sherbet Grappa Flavor was served separately and had a generous portion. The lemon sherbet was smooth with a perfect level of acidity. The Grappa flavor was subtle, not overpowering. They offer a variety of pasta for lunch, so I would like to try other options in the future.

Well... I was a little curious about this place for a while. It seems to be a popular restaurant, so I decided to visit on a weekday at a slightly different time to avoid the weekend crowds. The staff seemed serious and a bit formal, with a restrained smile. The menu was not placed on the table, so it seemed like they would remove it quickly. I chose the "Tomato and Eggplant" pasta from the lunch set for 1000 yen. It came with a mini appetizer (salad and bruschetta). I heard that the chef trained in Italy, so I was tempted to order Carbonara, but I thought it might affect my evening drinking. I haven't eaten Italian-style in a while, so I used a fork, even though I know in Italy they don't use spoons. The tomato sauce was tangy with little sweetness, giving it an authentic everyday feel. The toppings were capers, basil, eggplant, simple, and healthy. The pasta was cooked al dente and just right. The portion was generous, and the Parmigiano was fluffy and light. The salad was simple with sunny lettuce, purple onion, and carrot. The dressing was more like olive oil with salt and pepper, better than store-bought dressings. The bruschetta had a hint of garlic, lightly warmed, and drizzled with olive oil. After a long time eating Italian-style, I created a space on the plate to gather 3-4 pasta strands with the fork, making it easier to eat. I saved one bruschetta for wrapping the pasta, making it easier to eat and less messy. As for the coffee, I was hoping for Kilimanjaro, but it was decent. The Gelato con Caffe was quite filling. Next time, I'll go early and try the Carbonara. Thank you for the meal.

- Pizza Bianca (pizza with prosciutto and red cabbage) - Ragu - Boiled pork and mashed potatoes More like a Western-style restaurant in a residential area rather than Italian. Mainly families as customers, but also a few solo diners. The atmosphere may be welcoming for solo diners.

Casual Italian restaurant. The dessert was delicious! I ordered a dish called "Ciccolato" which is a baked chocolate. Two small cups were served. One cup contained fluffy chocolate like a cake, and the other was filled with plenty of coffee cream. You can dip the chocolate in the cream if you like. The chocolate and cups were very hot, so be careful not to touch them with your hands. The chocolate was crispy, slightly bitter, and delicious! I would love to try other items on the menu if I have the chance.

Visited around 7pm on a Sunday night. There were about 3 other groups of customers. Elegant jazz music playing in the background. The restaurant had 7 tables and a counter with 5 seats. The menu included about 30 items such as hand-made pasta, short pasta, veal, pork, and chicken dishes. Chose the long pasta with sausage for 900 yen and ratatouille for 600 yen as an appetizer. Started with the ratatouille, which had plenty of ingredients and came with two baguettes. The flavors were rich and well-seasoned. However, the main pasta dish lacked enough salt and tasted somewhat plain. Both my dining companion and I felt like we were eating plain pasta. Despite the good service, atmosphere, and reasonable prices, the main dishes were lacking. Will consider revisiting in the future to give it another try.

I went to "La Parazzina" that I was curious about and checked out the lunch menu. The lunch is a set menu. You can choose your favorite pasta from five seasonal pasta options + bruschetta (Italian-style garlic toast) + mini salad with a drink (choose from espresso, coffee, or tea) for 900 yen. The dessert options were also available separately. The bruschetta + mini salad + bread were delicious. I love Carbonara! (laughs) I ended up choosing a cream-based pasta again. At night, you can enjoy a la carte menu with pasta, pizza, meat dishes, and more. ***Access*** I heard that it was in a somewhat hard-to-find location, and since I was the one who suggested it, I couldn't be late, so I was fully prepared! (laughs) I printed out the map and headed to the location. However, even though I arrived near the address (on the map?) before the meeting time, I couldn't find the restaurant for some reason. I started to panic as I might be late, and my lack of sense of direction exploded. I kept going around the same road in circles... Is this map wrong? I got out of the car once and looked around... turning right, turning left (;^_^A← but there was no way I could find it... (´;ω;`) Even though I should be very close by... why can't I find it~? ゜(゜´Д`゜)゜. At this point, I gave up and informed them that I couldn't find the place and might be late... took a deep breath... (´Д`)=3 Once again, I went to the location on the map I brought with me, and "Ah... I found it~!!" Even though I passed by this road twice, why did I overlook it... (≡д≡) I should be able to go without getting lost this time! So, I have to go there again without getting lost. Here is the map provided by the restaurant! Please go without getting lost!

I went to the Italian restaurant La Palazzina in the residential area of Harukou for the first time in a long time. It's located at 3-7 Harukou, Asahikawa City, and the map can be found here: http://g.co/maps/8msdj. The restaurant is open from 11:30 to 14:00 and 17:30 to 21:00, closed on Mondays. They have parking and it's a non-smoking establishment. The last time I visited was 2 years ago, and I had to rely on my memory to find it as it's tucked away in the residential area. I arrived just before 6 pm, and the restaurant was empty at first, but quickly filled up with customers. The Pizza Bianca with prosciutto was delicious, with a thin crispy crust and flavorful prosciutto. The Penne all'Arrabbiata had a nice garlic and chili tomato sauce. For dessert, I had the Kicchere, a baked chocolate dessert with mocha-flavored whipped cream. It was a delightful experience, and I can't wait to go back again.

On September 19, 2010, the theme of the day was lunch. I went to La Palazzina with my friends after a long time. We were served garlic toast and a mini salad first. My friend ordered clam and tomato pasta, while I had the pomodoro pasta. I chose the squid and zucchini pasta for myself. Since all the dishes were tomato-based, it was hard to distinguish between them. The lunch came with a drink, and we also ordered some desserts. We tried the gelato con cafe and the Kikkele (baked chocolate), which was crispy on the outside and moist inside. My friend loved it and declared that we should come back to try the hand-made pasta at night, as La Palazzina is a great place for it. I promised myself to visit at night next time, as it's a bit difficult for me to go there in the evening due to its location at Shunko.

This Italian restaurant is quietly tucked away in a residential street. It's a quiet place, so it's a restaurant that you don't want to be too well known. Whether you go with a friend, a loved one, or a few people, it's okay because there are small private rooms in the back. On this day, five of us went in the evening. We ordered several types of pizza, meat dishes, and pasta, and enjoyed sharing them. Everything we ate was delicious. For the first time that day, we ordered sweets and were surprised by how big they were. I have taken a few friends there and they all say, "It's delicious." Sometimes they have long holidays for sourcing, so make sure to check. It seems to be crowded during lunchtime. Let's go early.

We went to the restaurant with a friend during lunch time. The lunch set costs 900 yen (desserts are extra, starting from 500 yen), which is reasonable for the price. The pasta sauce was a bit lacking in flavor. My friend ordered a tomato-based pasta, but there were no pieces of tomato in it, so I think it was made with store-bought sauce. The carbonara seemed to be the same. The taste was just average. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not bad. However, depending on the seat, you can see the kitchen, and it seemed like they were not putting much effort into making the pasta and sauce from what I could see. There were many local ladies chatting inside the restaurant.

This is a hidden gem of a restaurant located in a residential area. It may be a bit hard to find as it is set back slightly from the street with a parking space in front. The interior is very clean and has a cozy atmosphere, perfect for adults. The staff provide excellent, warm and friendly service. I tried the carbonara and margherita pizza on the day of my visit. The carbonara was perfect in every aspect, just to my liking with the right amount of salt and rich flavor. The margherita pizza had a crispy texture and although I usually prefer a different type of dough, it was still delicious. The highlight was the beer, served in a perfectly clean glass with a creamy foam on top, both visually appealing and tasty. The taste of the beer was exceptional. I was impressed by the attention to detail in serving it. This restaurant is great for a date or dining alone, and I left feeling very satisfied. I would love to visit again, but I'll have to wait until my next bonus as I'm on a tight budget.

I had lunch. I had Carbonara and my friend had clam and tomato pasta. The Carbonara was rich and very delicious. My friend also enjoyed the clam and tomato pasta. The portion was just right and we were satisfied. It was a bit chilly because the air conditioning was too strong, probably due to the hot weather in August, but the atmosphere of the restaurant was very nice and we were able to enjoy our meal while chatting leisurely. We were too full to order anything else, but next time, I would like to try ordering dessert.
