Visited on September 17, 2023! I had the Owl Shoyu Ramen for 1,100 yen with half rice for 120 yen. This is a branch located in Tanukikoji 8-chome that opened last month, with the main store in a different location. I had the Owl Miso Ramen at the main store before, and this time I tried the Owl Shoyu Ramen. While the miso ramen was creamier, the shoyu ramen had a more pronounced soy sauce flavor. I chose medium curly noodles instead of straight noodles, and it seemed like most customers did the same.

Arrived on Saturday after 11 am, even though the sign said "preparing", they were actually open. Only one other group of 2 arrived later. Located near the Toho Sapporo subway station, this is the second branch of "Hacchome no Fukurou" on Tanuki Street. Previously, it was a dumpling shop called "Ichidaimae Saemon" (not visited), followed by ramen shops "Yama to Kumo Niji Iroha" and "Yume Iroha", but none seemed to last long. The interior remains the same for now. The background music is recent J-pop. There are 2 staff members. The menu is the same as the main branch, with the addition of "E Gyoza". I chose "Miso" (900 yen) without hesitation from the ticket machine. It arrived promptly. The soup is the same rich chicken broth with a mild white miso base, still delicious!!! The yellow curly noodles were firm, which I liked! The chashu, improved in thickness even from the main branch, had good seasoning despite being slightly tough. The wild, long, and well-seasoned sinachiku was also good. The miso ramen alone was very satisfyingly delicious. I'm glad to have the same quality as the main branch nearby! Next time, I'll try the "Spicy Miso" and "E Gyoza".

Miso Ramen A new restaurant that just opened at the beginning of August. I work nearby often, so I've been curious about it for a while. Even during peak lunch hours, there was plenty of seating available. I sat at the counter and could see the chef mixing the miso with a hand mixer, similar to a certain shop in Kikusui. It seems like they are trying to bring out the richness of the chicken broth. Indeed, the soup was creamy and mild, with a good first impression. The medium-thick curly noodles were chewy and delicious. For more details, you can check out the framed menu with their specialties. Personally, I like the combination of white negi with miso, and the bamboo shoots were also tasty. However, the chashu was disappointing. There were two types, loin and belly, but despite being advertised as rare chashu, the belly was too tough and not that great. Towards the end, the miso they used made it taste overly salty, like in Shingen. I managed to finish it, though. There was a poster of their affiliated restaurants outside, apparently part of a chain that also includes a yakiniku restaurant. So, while they have various creative ideas, it might be difficult to take it up a notch or two in terms of quality...except for the chashu, everything else was not bad. Noodles: Kobayashi Seimen

I had miso ramen. The soup was delicious, a rich chicken broth combined with miso flavor. Not too salty, but the miso was rich and tasty. The medium-thick curly noodles were firm and tasty when mixed with the soup. The two types of chashu had a good aroma and flavor, and were meaty and delicious. The green onions and bamboo shoots were also good, and the sweetness of the onions and the flavor of the ground meat that came later were also delicious. This new store opened this month, and even though it was a one-person operation in the evening, the owner was polite, explained things well, and had a good atmosphere. The only thing to be careful of is that the parking lot is a bit narrow, so larger cars need to be cautious.

Soy sauce ramen (900 yen) was full as soon as it opened. There are 7 seats at the counter and 1 raised seating area. The serving style is to bring out 2 bowls at once, which is thoughtful. I chose medium-thin straight noodles, similar to Hakata tonkotsu ramen. The soup is chicken white broth, but on the lighter side. It has a strong saltiness that makes you wonder if it's soy sauce. I'm curious about trying their salt ramen now. I wish there was more soy sauce flavor to it. The chashu consists of one slice each of tender pork belly and loin. The finely chopped cabbage is sweet and tasty. The white negi and bamboo shoots are cooked with care. Each ingredient is delicious on its own, but the flavors don't seem to complement each other well. It might just be my personal preference. I haven't been to "Fukurou" in the city, so I'm not sure, but I think they might be known for their miso ramen. I'll try their miso ramen next time. Thank you for the meal.

I apologize for the harsh review. I saw this restaurant in Sapporo's PR magazine and decided to visit. I was aware from Google reviews that the wait time can be long and that the restaurant is relatively new. When I arrived, a family was already ordering at a table, followed by a couple and then me. I asked to exchange a large bill but the staff didn't do it, so I had to let the couple go ahead of me. This made me feel uneasy about the staff's attitude. It took about 25 minutes for my ramen order to arrive, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. The water was lukewarm. I ordered miso ramen, rice, and gyoza. The taste was similar to Sapporo-style miso ramen, like at Musashi, but with a slightly soy sauce-like flavor. It wasn't bad, but it didn't fully satisfy me. The large portion was more like an extra serving of noodles. The gyoza was delicious with plenty of juicy filling. This was a positive point. I felt that the ramen was slow to come out and that the service lacked consideration, even though the restaurant wasn't very busy. I don't think I'll be returning.

I tried the owl miso ramen. It seems they opened on August 4, 2023. It costs 1100 yen and comes with 4 slices of chashu (2 types?) and a seasoned egg. The soup and chashu have unique flavors. The chashu is chewy with a firm texture, which might be divisive among customers.

I decided to have lunch at "Menya Higashi Sapporo no Fukurou," a new ramen shop in Higashi Sapporo, Sapporo City. I chose the miso ramen. Since the shop is still relatively new, it was quite crowded and I had to wait to get in. They forgot to put "menma" in my ramen, but they gave it to me later. The staff were friendly, the ramen was delicious, and I look forward to visiting again next time. Thank you for the meal.

First visit. It used to be a yakitori restaurant for a long time, but after closing, various shops opened but did not last long. Open from 11:00 to 15:00 and 17:00 to 21:00. Closed on Mondays and Thursdays for a while. There are two parking spaces next to the shop. Chicken white broth. Miso, soy sauce, salt. Normally served with medium thick curly noodles. Soy sauce and salt can be changed to medium thin straight noodles. I had the soy sauce ramen for 900 yen with medium thin straight noodles. The chashu comes in two types: low-temperature roast and pork belly. The low-temperature chashu is seared, giving it a fragrant taste. It is thin without much thickness. The bamboo shoot is on the softer side. Is there cabbage in it? It's in the soup because they use chicken skin. It has a thick texture and a high salt content, but it also has a strong umami flavor. The medium thin straight noodles are firm and have a chewy texture. I like it. I would like to try the miso and salt flavors as well. (2023.08)

The restaurant seemed to be newly opened and was very crowded. I tried the miso ramen, which had a unique taste and was a new experience for me. You can only choose between soy sauce and salt for the noodles, so be careful if you prefer thin noodles! There were many flowers displayed, so I thought it must be a famous place, but as a new store, I wish there was a bit more energy. I personally prefer soy sauce, so next time I want to try soy sauce with thin noodles!

The miso-flavored corn potage-like soup has a rich and flavorful taste that is delicious! The second branch of Hacchome no Fukurou had a lot of flowers displayed in front of the store, showcasing the strong connections it has. The parking lot is a bit small but easy to park in, so you can quickly park and head to the shop. I wanted to try the Fukurou miso ramen, but opted for the regular miso ramen from the ticket machine as the menu seemed voluminous with extra chashu. The bowl had a cute and soothing design with a Fukurou peeking out. The noodles were special order noodles from Kobayashi Seimen, with a chewy texture and good elasticity. The soup, made by mixing three types of miso, was flavorful and paired well with the noodles. The chashu, made from both loin and belly, was seared before serving, adding a delicious aroma. The soft menma and tasty white leeks were also delightful. Overall, the dish was delicious, but I felt that better harmony between the noodles, toppings, and soup could elevate the experience. The addition of onions or bean sprouts might complement the soup better. I wonder how other toppings would taste.

The grand opening of the restaurant was initially scheduled for August 1st, but it was postponed to August 4th. However, a pre-opening event for Instagram followers only was held on August 1st and 2nd. I tried the Owl Miso ramen for 1,050 yen, which was a bit bitter in taste. The soup, made with chicken broth, was thick and had a mild flavor, which was delicious. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles that paired well with the soup. The chashu was made with pork loin and belly, both of which were tasty and not too greasy. This location has seen many restaurants come and go, but I believe this one has the potential to succeed.

Order: Owl Miso Ramen 1050 yen 7.8/10 rating: The noodles are curly noodles that blend well with the soup. The soup is miso-based and has a classic taste that is delicious. The special chicken broth soup is tasty with a mild miso flavor. The toppings include 4 slices of chashu, half-boiled egg, menma, green onions, minced meat, and diced onions. The special chashu is perfectly balanced with just the right amount of fat. I definitely want to go back! I will definitely go back!

I visited during the pre-opening. I ordered the Owl Miso ramen. It had a punchy miso-based soup with a strong garlic flavor, topped with a creamy chicken broth. The noodles were curly and absorbed the soup well.

The tenants here often struggle to attract customers and end up closing down quickly, but this time seems promising! The miso ramen had a rich soup and the noodles were just like Sapporo ramen. It was really satisfying!
