I was looking forward to visiting Chitose Airport after a long time. Normally I would go to Issen, but this time I chose Keyaki, which I hadn't been to in 20 years. It was a little after 11 o'clock, but even during the COVID-19 pandemic, Keyaki seemed to be the popular choice with already about 15 people waiting. As far as I could see, Keyaki and Hakuba Sanso were quite busy, but the others were almost empty. So, I decided to go for the classic miso chashu ramen. I added an egg, but it ended up costing over 1500 yen. Well, it's an airport so it can't be helped. I was craving some greasy food after drinking the night before, but the chashu was quite large and a bit tough. It seemed to be about 150g in thickness. The noodles were medium-thick curly noodles, a classic choice, and the soup had a sweet vegetable flavor that was delicious, but it didn't bring back the excitement I felt in the past. It could be due to age or my health condition, but personally, I felt like the taste could use a little more depth. Overall, I think it was a stable quality. Thank you for the meal.

Keyaki is a popular ramen restaurant located in Susukino, Sapporo's entertainment district. It is a small shop, so there is always a line. Their miso ramen is a favorite menu item, with a unique flavor using cabbage that becomes addictive. They also have a branch at New Chitose Airport, so you can enjoy their ramen without waiting in line at Susukino. However, due to the current situation with COVID-19, the airport is empty. You can have a beer and get change back for 1500 yen.
