After 7 pm, I managed to get a counter seat without a reservation! - Appetizers: pork shabu-shabu, tsubugai, and simmered dish. These were delicious, perfect for my hungry stomach! - Sapporo Classic Lager (medium bottle) for 690 yen. A must-drink when in Hokkaido! - Bakko-shi lemon sour, discounted from 850 to 780 yen. It comes with a whole lemon, and you can get a refill for only 240 yen, making it a great deal! - Crab and broccoli tartar salad for 780 yen. The crab adds flavor, and the tartar sauce complements it perfectly. - Sashimi assortment with sea urchin for 1,480 yen. Includes octopus, tuna, horse mackerel, and flounder. - Edamame pickles for 440 yen. Delicious pickled edamame! - Yakitori starting from 220 yen. Tried various types like seseri, thigh (salt), bonjiri (sauce), heart (salt), skin (sauce), and tsukune (sauce with raw egg). All the chicken dishes had a great natural flavor! - Grilled young corn for 380 yen. This dish feels very Hokkaido-like and is delicious!

The dishes were very well thought out and delicious. The photos were of red and white namero. The red namero was like a fatty tuna tartare, while the white namero was made with shrimp and crab. The addition of nagaimo (Japanese yam) added a nice touch and made it very tasty. The drinks came quickly and we had a great time. They also had a variety of recommended dishes made with seasonal ingredients. I will definitely visit again.

The variety of all-you-can-drink options makes it feel like a great deal, and I always end up making a reservation because I can't decide on a place to go. I always make sure to order the Hatsu Yukke! It's a must-have. They also have half-size menu options and counter seats, making it easy for solo diners to enjoy. It's a great choice for business trips as well. It can be hard to get in without a reservation, but if you can plan ahead, I recommend making a reservation and checking it out!

On Saturday at 6:30 pm, I visited this restaurant with a reservation. It quickly filled up, so it's probably a place where reservations are necessary. The appetizer already showed great taste. The skewers, seafood, and other dishes were all excellent! Especially the skewers were all to my liking. The prices were reasonable for the quality. There are still so many dishes I want to try. I definitely recommend this place!

The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a casual izakaya. There are private rooms available, making it easy to use. The appetizers, salads, skewers, and snacks were all very delicious! The dishes are very original, making you want to try everything on the menu. The handwritten menu is also lovely! I was particularly impressed by the tsukune rice bowl and the grilled eggplant cheese skewer. The tsukune rice bowl was a new culinary experience, and the grilled eggplant had plenty of cheese that stretched like in a Ghibli film. However, since it's a very popular restaurant, the food may take a while to be served. For those who are very hungry, be cautious! (I was very satisfied, but I couldn't help but be bothered by the small insects flying around in the restaurant...)

This time, I visited Bakko-shi, a place I had been curious about for a while. I climbed the stairs and entered the store. It was crowded even though it was a weekday! We opted for all-you-can-drink, and started with a lemon sour and appetizers for a toast. The appetizers were cucumber pickles, sweet potato simmered in lemon, simmered kasube, and duck. They were so stylish for appetizers! Then we had sashimi, liver sashimi, and grilled chicken thighs and shoulders. Everything had a delicate flavor! I thought this trendy izakaya would be great for a date, and I also thought it would be nice to visit occasionally. Thank you for the meal!

It had been a while since I last visited Bakko-shi. The lineup at Bakko-shi was as dazzling as ever. There were many menu items that caught my eye. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. If you're ever in trouble in Susukino, this is the place to go. However, it's a popular spot so it's better to make a reservation. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal!

This is my first visit, my senior made a reservation for me and I came looking forward to it. I was planning to order tsukune and nameko, but it was my first time trying herring nameko. The sashimi assortment is arranged individually for each person, which is a nice touch. The saltiness of the skewers was a bit strong, and the boiled tongue was unexpectedly bland, but overall I enjoyed the meal.

Two middle-aged men ordered a 100-minute all-you-can-drink option. They started with a cheers of oolong high. The appetizers included simmered beans, simmered kelp, and pickles. The truffle-scented potato salad was tasty, but lacked truffle flavor. The grilled whole squid with miso butter was delicious. The vinegar was a bit weak in the mackerel dish, which had a mature taste. The chicken skewers were particularly good, with a satisfying char and very tasty. One of the men had a small appetite and couldn't eat much, but they drank quickly. Some of the staff's service was poor, but the part-time female employee was excellent. Maybe the others were in a bad mood. It's a shame. Next time, I'd like to come with someone who can eat more and try various dishes. (March 2022)

I found a crowded restaurant that is usually open for business this time. The name of the restaurant and the atmosphere inside did not give it away, but the food here is delicious! The lightly fried broccoli soaked in broth with garlic was a masterpiece, I had seconds. The low-temperature cooked liver skewers, shrimp gratin skewers, homemade sweet potato tempura, crab sticks, grilled whole squid with miso butter, all made me want to come back for more. It was great that they had coffee shochu as a drink option! I had multiple refills on the rocks. Thank you for the meal!

I tried to visit this restaurant three times without a reservation, but couldn't get in, so this time I made a reservation! I arrived at 5:30 pm and within an hour, all seats were full (mostly reserved). It's a very popular place. I heard that the all-you-can-drink option is a good deal, so I ordered it. They had a variety of drinks like beer, highball, sour, shochu, sake, and cocktails. What surprised me was that they also had Kinmiya coffee shochu, tomato sour, and katsugen sour included in the all-you-can-drink menu. It's really worth it! Since it was a bar hopping day, we ordered a sashimi platter, beef tartare, and onigiri. The beef tartare was incredibly delicious. I didn't eat much this time, but they have a wide range of food options, so I definitely want to come back and enjoy it slowly next time.

Around 5:00 PM, I decided to visit the restaurant and called to make a reservation for 6:00 PM. When I arrived, the restaurant was about 30% full. I thought I didn't need to call ahead, but by 7:00 PM, customers started pouring in and the restaurant quickly became full. Walk-in customers were being turned away. It's a popular spot! I was seated at the counter. I opted for the 120-minute all-you-can-drink course for 1,980 yen. The first dish that came out was a set of simmered clams, sweet potatoes, and pickled cucumbers. I really enjoy these kinds of appetizers. I started with a beer from the all-you-can-drink menu, which was a great way to kick things off. I also ordered the sashimi with ponzu sauce, which was like a jelly and very refreshing. I felt like having beer today, so I ordered dishes that would go well with it. - Fried horse mackerel: Nicely fried with a fluffy texture and delicious tartar sauce. - Low-temperature cooked beef liver sashimi: This was amazing. It almost felt like a different food from regular liver sashimi. It was rich and creamy without any unpleasant smell. - Tsukune with raw egg yolk - Today's namero (fish seemed like mackerel) - Clam sashimi - Grilled chicken thighs Overall, all the dishes were delicious. I could see why this place is so popular. Thank you for the meal. Rating: 3.09. It seems strange for a restaurant of this quality to have such a low score.

It's been a while since I had a gathering with friends. We couldn't have a large group all of a sudden, so we enjoyed with just three people! They have all-you-can-drink here. "All-you-can-drink" (100 minutes for 1,650 yen (tax included)・120 minutes for 1,980 yen (tax included)). First, we toasted with "Asahi Super Dry draft beer"! The appetizers look delicious... roasted duck, lemon pickled cucumbers, marinated sea bream, sweet potatoes, etc. The appetizers are delicious from the start! The snacks here seem to be well received, so we kept ordering more! Let's keep eating! The anniversary special is the "Tachipon"! "Miso Tachipon Vinegar" (390 yen x 2, excluding tax)... rich and creamy, the jelly on top enhances the deliciousness of the tachipon. "Fried Horse Mackerel (with Iburi Gakko Tartar Sauce)" (680 yen)... a large horse mackerel, deep-fried until crispy. The tartar sauce is also great, especially with the Iburi Gakko. "Salt-Roasted Ginkgo Nuts" (500 yen)... the fragrant aroma is indescribable! "Herring Namero" (580 yen)... herring sashimi made into "namero", perfect as a drinking snack! "Beef Heart Yukhoe" (600 yen)... creamy and delicious! It melts in your mouth. For skewers, we ordered "Liver Sashimi Style (220 yen), Heart (190 yen), Thigh (220 yen), Tail (200 yen), Tsukune with raw egg (240 yen)". They were all good, but the liver sashimi style with sesame oil and chili oil was especially delicious! After a few glasses of draft beer, we each ordered our favorite items. We drank, we ate, and had a great time! The staff here are friendly and welcoming. It was a fun night after a long time. Let's drink again soon!

Emergency declaration has been lifted and the situation with COVID has calmed down a bit, so three of us decided to go out for drinks in Susukino. Our first stop was a reservation at "Susukino Kuro Chochin Bakko-shi," a place we've been wanting to visit for a while. We sat in a private room with a 4-person sunken kotatsu table. We ordered the "All-you-can-drink" option for 100 minutes at 1,410 yen using a coupon (normally 1,650 yen including tax), and the 120-minute option at 1,630 yen using the coupon (normally 1,980 yen including tax). We started with a toast with BEER to our reunion after a long time and to the pause in COVID situation and our night out in Susukino. For our meal, we had dishes like roasted duck, lemon-pickled cucumbers, and marinated sea bream all served in one small plate. The presentation was not extravagant, but it showed the restaurant's sense of style. We ordered the "Raw Tachi with Ponzu Sauce" for 390 yen, which was so delicious that we had to order two servings. The fresh Tachi fish was firm and rich, and the Ponzu sauce with jelly-like texture complemented its flavor perfectly. We also had "Roasted Ginkgo Nuts" for 500 yen, which were generously sized and addictively tasty. The "Fried Horse Mackerel" for 680 yen came with a side of smoked herring roe tartar sauce and was crispy and flavorful. The "Sashimi-style Pacific Herring" for 580 yen was fatty and delicious, showcasing the restaurant's thoughtful selection of ingredients. The highlight of the night was the "Beef Heart Yukhoe" for 600 yen, which had a perfect texture and flavor with a well-balanced sauce. The staff was friendly, and the service was efficient. The skewers like "Liver Sashimi-style," "Heart," "Thigh," "Tail," and "Tsukune with Quail Egg" were all well-made and worth the price. An izakaya in Susukino! A place that was open during times when many other places were closed! They had a great selection of menu items that were perfect for drinkers. Even during regular hours, it was a great place to enjoy some food and drink sake. The lemon in the lemon sour was plentiful.

Congratulations on the 1st anniversary \( ˙꒳​˙ )/ I came for the second time without much time in between visits (lol). I saw the announcement for the 1st anniversary on Instagram and since I had some business in Susukino, I decided to come and check it out. They have a special anniversary event from November 11th to 21st - Tachipon for 880 yen is now 390 yen!! You can enjoy delicious Tachipon at a discounted price. Even first-time visitors should definitely take advantage of this opportunity ( ´ω` )/ They opened on November 11th, which is Pocky Day, but unfortunately, the timing wasn't great this year. However, when I went alone, surprisingly there were quite a few customers inside. It seems like many fans have been following them since the days of their sister restaurant Sawaken. ☻ Tachipon 390 yen This is it!! Tachipon is rarely heard of as being bad!! It's rich and delicious ( ˊᵕˋ )♡ It's also unusual to have grated daikon radish on it. ☻ Lily Root Cheese Fry 680 yen Lily root is a must for autumn!! This is my first time this year♡ I was going to order fish cake but it was sold out, so the kitchen recommended this instead. The generous amount of cheese on the fluffy Lily root with a soft-boiled egg is just amazing! ☻ Various skewers Whatever you eat, it's delicious!! The minced chicken meatball was so fluffy and amazing ( ˶˙ᵕ˙˶ ) ☻ Tachikama They said it was sold out, but they gave me a complimentary sample because there was just one bite left!! Their kindness is beyond wordsーー\( ˙꒳​˙ \三/ ˙꒳​˙)/ It has a soft and fluffy texture, and the sweetness of the tachi and kamaboko is just incredible♡ I will definitely come back for this. The all-you-can-drink option is 1408 yen for 100 minutes, with last order 10 minutes before the end, so effectively 90 minutes. They serve Super Dry beer. The drinks come quickly and I'm satisfied ( ´ω` )/ The staff is so polite that it's almost intimidating!! Both the kitchen staff and the servers were all nice (*´ `*) I was curious about the different uniforms from last time. The colors are different for the kitchen and the servers, and there are people who go back and forth with Sawaken, so it seems a bit mixed (lol) They mentioned that there is a private room at the back that can accommodate around 20 people. The variety of dishes is great and everything is delicious, so I'll probably be back for a third time soon!! Thank you for the meal♡

I wanted to try this restaurant. They have a wide variety of menu items, from sashimi to yakitori. The appetizers were elegant and delicious - a platter of smoked duck, sprouts, sweet potatoes, and pickled smelt. The dishes we ordered were beautifully presented, fresh, and delicious. The grated daikon radish was also very good. The half-priced beef tartare we got with a coupon was generous in portion, topped with plenty of green onions, sesame seeds, and egg yolk - very satisfying. The liver was flavored with garlic, spicy, and tasty. I enjoyed the little touches in each dish. I ended up ordering a mega pitcher in the heat of the moment. Looking back at the photos, it seems I was playing with the lemon slices that were stuck all over the pitcher. After finishing my drink, I got a bit tipsy and ended up moving to another place to sleep. I'm sorry to my friends. I remember the food was delicious! I want to go back again! I came to this restaurant because it looked good. It seems to be jointly operated with Sawaken, and the two places seem to be connected in some way. Sawaken has never been here, but I often hear that it's a delicious place. The restaurant has 6 counter seats and about 4 table seats. Even though it's not a very big place, there were 4 people in the kitchen with different work clothes, which surprised me at first! Maybe that's why there were so many items on the menu? You order drinks separately. There is also an all-you-can-drink option, with 120-minute and 100-minute options, and beer is included. I ordered beer and my companion ordered Bakko-shi highball. What is Bakko-shi highball? I asked and it seems to be a mega highball with a peeled lemon inside. There was also a sour version available. It's big and has an impact! If you drink a lot, it's a good deal because refills are cheap. ☻ Beef heart yukhoe 600 yen → 300 yen with a coupon for half price!! When I asked the staff for a recommendation, they suggested this dish. The sweet and savory sauce mixed with the egg is delicious. The heart is fresh and exquisite!! ☻ Mentaiko with ponzu sauce 880 yen I always order this when I find it!! It's from Kushiro and very rich.
