Family rooms are quite hard to find, but when I was searching, I came across this hotel which is conveniently located near the station and has a variety of dining options nearby. Even though I was driving there and the proximity to the station didn't matter to me... (´∀︎`;) I was surprised by the number of hotels around the station. I decided to stay here. I had prepared myself by avoiding alcohol the night before and getting a good night's sleep, so I was ready for a hearty breakfast! Despite feeling a little tired, I woke up early and refreshed with a bath, so my stomach was ready for some food! Let's go!!! Mask on, gloves on. I've always been a fan of wearing gloves even before this current situation, so I have no problem wearing them. I'm a bit of a clean freak, haha. I definitely wanted to have some seafood! I wanted to have a seafood bowl! It was served in small portions, with salmon, ikura, tuna, squid, etc. However, the freshness was not as great as expected. Well, that's understandable. I was looking forward to the squid, but it was just okay, haha. But having seafood in a breakfast buffet is truly Hokkaido style, right? While grilled fish seems to be available at any hotel, having sashimi is a nice touch. The rice was made from local ingredients and was delicious. There were also Western options such as bread, scrambled eggs, and bacon, so even those who prefer bread can enjoy the breakfast. I tried the Hakodate clam chowder and minestrone, both were delicious! The clam chowder had a rich ocean flavor that was gentle on the tired stomach. The minestrone was packed with ingredients and the acidity of the tomatoes made me feel refreshed in the morning! Breakfast is really important, right? It's what energizes the body. Lastly, I had a dessert of grapefruit with yogurt and a drizzle of sauce for a healthy breakfast. The limited edition milk was also delicious. I recommend trying the local milk if you're from out of town. The vegetables, protein, and sugars in the breakfast gave me a full charge, so I'm ready to tackle the day ahead! Thank you for the meal♪
