I have been going there often recently, and today I tried the "Kimchi Ramen" for the first time. It's probably a regular miso ramen with some mildly spicy kimchi on top. It seems like even kids can eat it, but personally, I feel like the kimchi flavor is too strong. I think I could do without the kimchi. It's not that it's not delicious, so please understand.

Ichirou Ramen. I had never been there before, even though it has been around for a long time, but when a friend told me it was delicious, I decided to try it out and indeed it was tasty. The ramen is very similar to Boryu's ramen. I'm not sure, but I heard from a friend that they used to have a Boryu sign in the past. I don't know if they are regulars, but they come in without a break. Miso, salt, and soy sauce are all good, but personally, I recommend the salt and miso versions.

In the midst of the busy and stressful month of March, butter is the answer. So, to Ichiro-san. The soup simmered in a Chinese wok is truly hot. This is how ramen should be. The soup has a flavor similar to the Ho-ryu style. It's a taste that appeals to everyone, with a strong body that complements the noodles well. The melted butter melted away not only the fatigue but also made it possible to keep going in the afternoon. Excellent service, reasonable prices, and delicious taste make this ramen enjoyable. There's nothing particularly outstanding, but the consistent deliciousness and the open kitchen are pleasing. Personally, I really like it.

Today's lunch was at Ramen Ichiro. At 11:40, there were 2 groups of customers ahead of me and 1 group behind me. The restaurant has a long counter, making it easy for solo diners to come in. I ordered the shrimp ramen (salt flavor only) for 800 yen (tax included), as it is known for its light taste. The staff, including a mother and a female employee, worked efficiently and my order was ready in about 6 minutes. The shrimp ramen came with 5 large shrimp, and they even provided a wet towel and a shell plate. The female staff members were very attentive and considerate. At first, I couldn't hold the shrimp with my chopsticks or hands as they were hot. I saved the shrimp for last. The ramen had medium-thick curly noodles, stir-fried cabbage and onions, wakame seaweed, and 5 large shrimp. The broth was light and flavorful, with a gentle seafood and shrimp taste, and a mild saltiness. It was delicious. Thank you to the kind mother and the female staff members for the wonderful meal.

"Ichiro" Today, I received a complaint about an old review again, being treated like an idiot. I may be an idiot, but I don't appreciate being treated like one by you. I understand your feelings, but this is my style of writing, so if you don't like it, please don't read it. I'm alone in Obihiro! The road surface today was not slippery, so I didn't change my destination halfway. I arrived safely in Obihiro. For lunch today, it's ramen at "Ichiro." You can feel energized with Yunker. I arrived just before noon and even though I started late, I passed. The restaurant is run by two women. There are three tables in the raised seating area, but no customers. The counter has about 8 seats, I think. I'm not sure. I sit down with 5 other people. I was influenced by the previous customer and ordered the soy sauce ramen. It comes with three flavors for 700 yen, which is a good deal. The difference in price is understandable. Miso costs 100 yen extra, but I hesitated because it was listed third. There's a small TV in the restaurant. It's a fairly large restaurant, but the TV is small. It seems like they want you to eat quickly and leave rather than watch TV. The service is quick and efficient. It only took about 7 minutes. The movement is impressive. Even though they move quickly, they handle the wok quietly. The ramen doesn't look appetizing with its color of soy sauce. Usually, I haven't found it to be delicious. The egg noodles are yellow and chewy, which is good. The thin menma is good too, with a nice texture. I don't like boiled bean sprouts. They don't add anything to this weak soup, they just get in the way. The balance is off, and it lacks taste. The green onions and seaweed are unnecessary. The ramen's true nature is revealed through its appearance. The fatty chashu is tough and tasteless. The soup lacks depth and flavor. It's an unsatisfying ramen that makes you regret eating it. The two women working there are fine, so I didn't want to write much about them, but I should have just said nothing. I'm sorry. I regret not ordering the salt ramen. The aftertaste of the soup lingers in my mouth. I quickly brush my teeth. The customer in front of me suddenly said, "Thank you for the meal," and left. I was sweating. I was about to say, "Was it pre-paid?" One minute later, I left as well. I went to the counter to pay, but the customer came back, saying, "I didn't pay, did I?" The woman replied, "I didn't take your payment." This is the downside of the ticket machine. Of course, it's not the ticket machine's fault, but... Summary of the year so far, from January to the end of February: Ramen - 28 bowls, Soba - 9 bowls, Ice cream - 10 pieces.

Miso ramen is delicious with a rich flavor. Soy sauce ramen is tasty with a light flavor. Both have hot soup with bean sprouts, green onions, seaweed, chashu, and bamboo shoots on top, and they go perfectly with curly noodles.

I went to Ramen Ichirou. It's a ramen shop I visit often. The shop is run by a husband and wife. "Ichirou" runs the shop in Nishi Obihiro, while his wife runs "Ichirou" in Memuro. It's a unique setup, right? I ordered the usual soy sauce ramen without bean sprouts, which they happily accommodated. The ramen was ready in about 6 minutes. It's the same delicious taste I always enjoy - light and refreshing. The noodles are curly and medium-thick, and the chashu is tender and tasty. It's a simple and classic ramen that keeps me coming back. Thank you for the delicious meal, Ramen Ichirou!

The cooking scene gives off a nostalgic vibe. The noodles are cooked individually in a pot, then drained and served in a bowl. The soup is light and the portions are generous. It has a Showa-era style, but the taste is simple and light. It seems popular with young mothers who want to feed their children healthy food. I had the pork bone soup with aromatic vegetables.

Today's ramen journey takes us to "Ichiro" located on the west side of Obihiro, along Shirakaba Street. The ramen at Ichiro is simple yet has a perfect balance of richness and a gentle touch. The soup is light and refreshing, but with a depth of flavor and sweetness that is truly delightful. Perhaps because the owner is a woman, you can sense the care and attention put into every detail. The clean interior, attentive service, and overall pleasant atmosphere make this a wonderful place to dine. I ordered the miso ramen for 700 yen. The menu is straightforward and the ramen is classic yet unique. The flavor is so deep and satisfying, it will make you want to keep coming back for more. While those who prefer a stronger taste may find it lacking, the subtle and exquisite flavor of Ichiro's ramen is something you must experience at least once. I hope this restaurant continues to thrive for a long time.

Facing Shira-Kaba Street, with parking space for 5-6 cars, making it easy to access. I ordered the Shoyu Gomoku ramen. It's light, but the seafood ingredients give it a nice umami flavor. I can feel the richness. I really like this broth. I would give it a 4, but the toppings are a bit lacking for a Gomoku ramen, so I'll give it a 3.5. It had a little squid, small clams, and some napa cabbage. I wish there were more toppings. The price of 650 yen for Shio, Shoyu, and Miso ramen is quite reasonable. I might come back for the Miso ramen.

Ramen Ichiro, located in front of Memurocho Station, is a restaurant run by the wife of the owner of the original Ramen Ichiro in Nishi-Obihiro. The restaurant in Nishi-Obihiro is easy to find along the road, with a clean and welcoming interior. There are around 10 seats at the counter and 3 tables in a raised area. The restaurant is managed by the wife and another female assistant. The menu features hand-drawn illustrations, including a caricature of the owner from Memurocho that is quite accurate. I ordered the Chashu Ramen in soy sauce flavor for 800 yen. The dish arrived promptly, with a large, melt-in-your-mouth chashu on top. The soup was smooth and gentle, with the flavors of the vegetables and meat gradually coming through. The noodles were cooked just right, with a good balance of vegetables and seaweed. The chashu was incredibly tender and flavorful, blending perfectly with the noodles, soup, and vegetables. It was delicious, with a lingering aftertaste. Highly recommended!

On August 3, 2014, my partner and I visited this place for the first time. There were customers before and after us. I heard from a former colleague that the "miso gomoku" is delicious, so this time my partner ordered the miso (large serving) and I ordered the shoyu. The shoyu was light but flavorful, with a hot soup. The noodles were cooked just right and had a nice thickness. I tried my partner's soup and personally found it a bit too strong. I wonder if the chashu in chashumen and regular ramen is different? If it is, I would like to try the salt chashu ramen next time.

Today I went to "Ramen Ichirou". It's located on a big street so it's easy to find, but you might walk past it without noticing. It was just past lunchtime and the owner was eating, sorry for the bad timing. They offer simple ramen varieties like soy sauce, miso, and salt base with various toppings. I ordered the salt chashu ramen. While waiting, I noticed that the interior of the shop was clean and well-maintained, reflecting the care taken by the female owner. The ramen arrived, with a clear salt broth. The taste was surprisingly light yet had a depth to it. It seemed to be a chicken and vegetable-based soup. It wasn't heavy like animal broth but had a lingering flavor. The chashu was thin but tender and flavorful. It was just right with the noodles and soup. Although it initially seemed lacking in punch, I ended up enjoying it till the last drop. It was delicious and the prices were reasonable, making it a place where you can order any menu without hesitation. It was a delightful experience.

After finishing work, I entered the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon just because there were many cars parked outside. The counter with about 10 seats and the raised seating area were all full. More than half of the customers were families. It was the first time I had to wait for a seat to open up at a ramen restaurant in Obihiro. The two staff members were very busy and struggling to keep up with cleaning. The menu offers three flavors: miso, salt, and soy sauce ramen for 650 yen each. They also have unique options like shrimp ramen and kimchi ramen. I tried the salt ramen. The curly noodles were just right, and the soup was at the perfect temperature. There was a generous amount of seaweed, which paired well with the saltiness. The only disappointment was the chashu. It seemed like a generic kind that you can find anywhere, unlike the original chashu you might expect from the restaurant.
