It's a casual and stylish drinking establishment that starts off classy but ends up feeling like a typical old man's hangout. The menu changes daily, but everything is delicious. The atmosphere is great, and it's easy to lose track of time there. Izakayas are the best, aren't they? And finishing with fresh sea squirt sashimi is a must. Friends are wonderful, aren't they? And laughter is the best.

Visited on June 13, 2019. I was invited to Aozora by a friend after attending a company gathering. I arrived around 10 pm and the atmosphere was lively with regular customers at the counter. I ordered a Mega Jockey for 780 yen and a Oolong tea for 250 yen. The appetizer was a spicy konjac and chive sesame salad. For food, I ordered the Umadare Tomato for 390 yen, pork skewers for 350 yen, a Caesar salad for 680 yen, seared stingray fin for 580 yen, and chicken skin gyoza for 430 yen. The Umadare Tomato had a strong tomato flavor with bacon chips on top. The pork skewers were cooked and seasoned well. The Caesar salad was generous with cheese but lacked crunchiness in the vegetables. The chicken skin gyoza lacked saltiness and flavor in the filling. My favorite was the seared stingray fin, with a good thickness and texture. Overall, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making the experience enjoyable. The baseball game ended in a tie, with Sugitani Kenshi making the final out with a fly ball to left field.

Visit date: April 20, 2019. The second stop of the day was at Aozora. We were supposed to be full after the first stop, but it seems our stomach capacity calculation was off. We arrived around 7:45 PM on a Saturday. There were two groups at the counter and one group in the raised seating area, showing good customer turnout. We sat in the raised seating area and ordered: - Premium non-alcoholic drink for 380 yen - Oolong tea for 250 yen - Seared stingray fin for 580 yen - Pickled cucumber for 380 yen - Garlic potatoes for 480 yen The seared stingray fin came as a whole piece for us to cut and eat ourselves. It was thick and had a crunchy texture, very delicious. The pickled cucumber had a hint of sesame oil aroma and was well-seasoned. The garlic potatoes were pre-seasoned with a salty flavor, with a subtle garlic taste. We then ordered: - Sashimi assortment for 1550 yen - Rice (price unknown) - Oolong tea for 250 yen - Freshly squeezed sake from the north for 700 yen The sashimi assortment included red snapper, squid, tuna, octopus, scallops, and sea urchin. There was a separate soy sauce provided for the sashimi. All the sashimi was delicious, especially the scallops which were incredibly fresh and firm. The waitress serving us was friendly and had a lovely smile. We found a great restaurant in a residential area in Tottori. Thank you for the meal.

I found this restaurant on Tabelog and decided to give it a try. I made a reservation over the phone and arrived 15 minutes later. The parking space was already full when I got there, but luckily a car left just in time for me to park. Inside the restaurant, there were 6 seats at the counter and two tables on a raised platform. At the time of my visit, there was one person at the counter and a group of 8 people at the raised platform. After being seated, I was left waiting for about 5 minutes. During this time, a woman was cleaning up the counter where a family had just left. The food was delicious overall and I particularly enjoyed the seasoning on the skewers and the sashimi platter for 1580 yen. However, I felt that the menu was a bit limited and lacked standout dishes. It didn't feel like there was anything special that I really wanted to try.

This time, I went with a different group of 3 members. If you find a highly rated restaurant, a revisit is necessary, right? This time, we were lucky to get a sunken kotatsu seating area (*^-^) There are only 2 sunken tables and about 7-8 counter seats, so it's really cozy. The sashimi assortment was under 1500 yen. I think it was 1380 yen (；^∀^) It came with tsubu and felt like a good deal for the assortment ☆ We also ordered tachiten, which was crispy and tender ('▽'*) The cheese sundubu listed on the blackboard menu - I wish there was more cheese. I couldn't taste the cheese flavor, but it was delicious. I wish it was spicier though ♪ I forgot to take a photo of the garlic edamame, which goes well with beer ٩(｡•◡•｡)۶ The only downside was that it was cold from start to finish (>_<) They provided blankets, which helped a bit (◜ᴗ◝ )

Long time no post~ (*>∀<*) Had a drinking party with 3 friends♪ We had to make a reservation to get in. My friends made a reservation and we went there o(^o^)o It's located far from the bar district, but there's a parking lot so we took a taxi back♪ It's a small place but they offer all-you-can-drink, and even after the time was up, they didn't rush us to leave, so we could order more drinks at our own pace! I love tuna, so when I ordered it, they said, "Oh, we only have frozen tuna."... Isn't frozen normal? (・_・?) It's definitely a good sign that they honestly tell you. The fried chicken was fluffy and delicious! Everything we ordered was great (*>∀<*) Found a place that I want to become a regular at! ( ﾟ∀ﾟ)
